The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 5 LONESOME MAX Injured in running, off side stopper, 10 days
Race 5 BALZAREEN Injured in running, off side hamstring, 10 days
The greyhound RHONDA JOAN successfully performed a Stewards Trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.44 seconds and is cleared to nominate at all tracks with the exception of Cairns.
The greyhound COBBIN successfully performed the 1st of 3 Return to Racing Trials over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.67.
The greyhound BEHM successfully performed the 1st of 3 Return to Racing Trials, in conjunction with a Satisfactory Weight Trial, at a weight of 29.9kg, over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.77.
BAILINATOR was best to begin. WILDASH TAPPER, GAP YEAR and FIVE STARS were all slowly into stride. Approaching the 1st turn GAP YEAR shifted out inconveniencing the running of FIVE STARS. GAP YEAR raced wide for the remainder of the event. At the 1st turn WILDASH REV was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of BUCKAROO SUE.
SNAKE PROOF was best to begin. Approaching the 1st turn POWER CELL raced wide after being tightened for running to the inside of WILLIAM MAC.
Race 3 – 5th
Grade 380m
BELLE SIND was best to begin. GIVE ME TIME and COSMIC LAMP were both slowly away. Approaching the 1st turn BRIGHT REBEL shifted out across the heels of MIDNIGHT EDITION and raced wide. BRIGHT REBEL and MIDNIGHT EDITION came together heavily on straightening. Both greyhounds were unbalanced.
Race 4 – 1/2nd
Grade 380m
ZAMBEZI ROCK was slowly away. REECY GOGOLAC was slowly into stride. Approaching the 1st turn ARLANDRIA lost ground when tightened for running between ZAMBEZI ROCK and DIVVY UP which was shifting in.
Race 5 – RQ Young Guns Heat
1 498m
SLASHIN’ PETE and MAYWYNS MARTY both began well. ELUSIVE DIVA and ZIPPING CARLTON were both
slowly away. At the 1st turn
LONESOME MAX and BALZAREEN were both severely checked when tightened for
running between CAPTAIN LONESTAR and MAYWYNS MARTY both of which were shifting
ground. BELIMBA HUSTLER and ZIPPING
CARLTON which were following also suffered interference. Approaching the top turn ZIPPING CARLTON was
inconvenienced when racing tight to the inside of ELUSIVE DIVA.
The greyhound LONESOME MAX was vetted post race and was found to have sustained an injury to its off side stopper and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
The greyhound BALZAREEN was vetted post race and was found to have sustained an injury to its off side hamstring and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 6 – RQ Young Guns Heat

VAPOUR FLIGHT and OBLIVION both began well. MISS GRAND THEFT dwelt at the start. Shortly after the start EBONY SPECIAL lost ground when tightened for running between GUNNADOO DELTA and DEBORAH ROSE. Approaching the 1st turn VAPOUR FLIGHT and OBLIVION came together. OBLIVION was unbalanced. Through the back straight EBONY SPECIAL and SELFIE came together. Both greyhounds were inconvenienced.
Race 7 – RQ Young Guns Heat 3 498m
WILDASH DUKE, NANIERNA and BEACH FRONT all dwelt at the start. Approaching the 1st turn NANIERNA was severely checked when tightened for running between WILDASH DUKE and BEACH FRONT. NANIERNA lost significant ground and momentum in this incident. MINGELA COSMO and BEACH FRONT were both wide in the back straight. Approaching the top turn SCORPIO JAY was checked after improving onto the heels of GUNNADOO SECRET. Shortly after straightening BEACH FRONT was inconvenienced after improving onto the heels of PRINCE OF DOOM.
The greyhound NANIERNA was vetted post-race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 8 – Open 498m
BLUE HOUDINI, FLIPPIN’ RIPPER, LILLY BELLEBIRD and AVONDALE TARA all lost significant ground at the 1st turn when CUT OUT PASS shifted in abruptly. LUCKY AS EL was also inconvenienced. SLEEPY MIME raced wide in the back straight.
Race 9 – 3/4th Grade 380m
WIND TRACKER and SUPERMAC both began well. Approaching the top turn CAWBOURNE HAZARD shifted in checking the running of LISTEN NOW which lost ground.
Race 10 – 4th Grade 380m
The greyhound PACIFIC SPRING was vetted pre race and was found to be lame due to a near side hind foot injury. PACIFIC SPRING was withdrawn on Veterinary advice at 10.11pm, and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Even start. Approaching the top turn EUNICE LILLIAN checked out across the heels of TICKFORD onto the running of LISTEN and SENOR AL. All 3 greyhounds lost significant ground as a result.
