The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

WARNINGS
Race 1 GEORGE’S MATE Performance bordering on unsatisfactory
WILDASH WHISPER and SOMETHING BAD both began well. GEORGE’S MATE was slowly away. Soon after the start MAGIC CHAOS lost ground when tightened for running between WILDASH TAPPER and SOMETHING BAD which was shifting in. Approaching the top turn MAGIC CHAOS shifted in checking the running of TEAM TOKALON which lost ground. WALLABY JACK was wide throughout.
The greyhound GEORGE’S MATE was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed. Trainer Mr. M Pandelakis was advised that a warning would be placed on the greyhound GEORGE’S MATE for performance bordering on unsatisfactory.
EXPRESS PASS was slowly into stride. Soon after the start WILDASH REV shifted in tightening the running of BRIGHT DEBREE which lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn VERY SPRITELY shifted in severely checking the running of MIDNIGHT EDITION. As a result MIDNIGHT EDITION shifted out severely checking the running of WILDASH REV and MR. CRUSTACEAN. WILDASH REV lost significant ground in this incident. BLINGLE which was racing to the outside of those greyhounds was also inconvenienced. MR. CRUSTACEAN and BLINGLE were racing tight and bumping at the home turn.
The greyhound MR. CRUSTACEAN was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 3 – 0 – 3 Wins 498m
The start of this event was subject to a minor delay due to lure malfunction.
SCOTTISH CLAN was best to begin. RICHTER SCALE was slowly away. BELIMBA HUSTLER and KNOCK THE TOP both lost ground when tightened for running through the catching pen. WILDASH DUKE and OBLIVION came together leaving the catching pen. OBLIVION became unbalanced and raced wide. Entering the back straight BEACH FRONT shifted out taking WILDASH DUKE wide.
Race 4 – 4/5th
Grade 380m
SNAKE PROOF was best to begin. Soon
after the start EMINEM BLUE GIRL lost ground when tightened for running between
MAKE THE SWITCH and WILLIAM MAC which was shifting in. General tightening in the run to the 1st
turn resulted in interference to the running of WILLIAM MAC, TRU ZOOMER, BELLE
SIND and EMINEM BLUE GIRL. All 4 greyhounds were severely checked and EMINEM
BLUE GIRL fell and took no further competitive part in the event. COSMIC FREEZE
was also inconvenienced.
The greyhound EMINEM BLUE GIRL was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 5 – 4th
Grade 380m
EUNICE LILLIAN was best to begin. GUNNADOO RACER, BLACK DENIM and WILDASH WILDFIRE all dwelt at the start. Soon after the start SENOR AL lost significant ground when severely tightened for running between BLUE STITCH and WILDASH WILDFIRE both of which were shifting ground. BLUE STITCH was also checked in this incident. PACIFIC SPRING and WILDASH WILDFIRE were both wide at the home turn.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 498m
The greyhound SURF THE HIGHWAY was withdrawn at kenneling due to soreness
in both wrists and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
POWER CELL was best to begin. GUNNADOO
DELTA was slowly away. Entering the
catching pen LISTEN shifted in tightening the running of SLASHIN’ PETE which
lost ground. Leaving the catching pen
GUNNADOO DELTA lost ground when tightened for running between TOKALON TORNADO
and CAWBOURNE HAZARD which was shifting in. Soon after CAWBOURNE HAZARD which was
continuing to shift in checked the running of TOKALON TORNADO. Entering the back straight LISTEN shifted in
checking the running of CAWBOURNE HAZARD which lost ground. MINGELA COSMO was wide in the back straight. Approaching the top turn GUNNADOO DELTA
shifted out across the heels of SLASHIN’ PETE.
The greyhound SLASHIN’ PETE was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 7 – Open Heat 1 498m
LADY BELLEBIRD was best to begin. Entering the catching pen PRIVATE TALK shifted in checking the running of SCORPIO JAY, SLEEPY MIME and BIG BAD TOM. BIG BAD TOM lost significant ground and raced wide. SLEEPY MIME and MAYWYNS MARTY came together entering the back straight. POST BOX, MAYWYNS MARTY and SCORPIO JAY were all wide in the back straight.
Race 8 – Open Heat 2 498m
KLONDIKE RUSH was slowly into stride. Soon after the start ZAMBEZI ROCK and BLUE HOUDINI were both checked when tightened for running between SAVIOUR and POISED TO POUNCE both of which were shifting ground. ZAMBEZI ROCK and BLUE HOUDINI were both wide in the back straight.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 380m
BLACK PEPPERCORN was slowly away. Approaching the 1st turn BRIGHT REBEL shifted in severely checking the running of MANCHU WOK which lost significant ground. MORAN’S WEIR and BLACK PEPPERCORN which were following were also checked in this incident.
The greyhound MORAN’S WEIR was vetted post race and was found to have cramped in running. MORAN’S WEIR was stood down for a period of 10 days and will be required to perform one (1) satisfactory trial over 380 metres, all tracks, prior to nominating.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 380m
JACK SPRITE and RHONDA’S TEARS both began well. VELOCITY KYZON was slowly into stride. Soon after the start MISS DENMARK lost ground when tightened for running between JACK SPRITE and RHONDA’S TEARS which was shifting in. MISS DENMARK shifted out at the home turn inconveniencing the running of RHONDA’S TEARS.
