ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

Trainer A. Metcalfe was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR39.1 for presenting HEZ BOBY DAZZLER to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  HEZ BOBY DAZZLER was a late scratching from the race.

 

POPPY CHOOKY was the best to begin.  MR. CANNA and MR. MACGREGOR were slow to begin.  MR. CANNA improved on to the heels of RHONDA’S BEAR and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  RHONDA’S BEAR shifted out on the turn into the front straight forcing MR. MACGREGOR wide resulting in some inconvenience to MR. CANNA.

MCP RACING NOVICE 380M

SILVER MOUSE was the best to begin.  SLIDING DOORS, BELLE’S HAWKE and GLIDING MISS were slow to begin. SLIPPERY COIN was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  LITTLE MAGICIAN checked off SUGAR HIT AIVAH and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  COOL DE BEERS shifted out on the turn into the front straight forcing LITTLE MAGICIAN wide bumping GLIDING MISS resulting in LITTLE MAGICIAN becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

ALL FUELED UP was the best to begin.  PARIS AUGOGO was slow to begin.  GUNNADOO TWIST was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  DASHING DIME checked off RONRAY BULLET and lost ground in the back straight.

GOJO MOJO was the best to begin.  TRANSACTION was slow to begin.  MISS GRAND THEFT checked off SMOOTH FLAME and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.  SMOOTH FLAME checked off ZIPPING CARLTON and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight.

BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with ARTS and SCOTTIE’S GIRL slow to begin.  MACADAM checked off RUNYA DOWN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MAYWYN WILL WIN raced wide into the front straight.

BURNETT FAMILY 4th GRADE 380M

TRISHA NOLAN was the best to begin.  KORCHECK was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

BIG HAMMER HARDWARE 3/4th GRADE 380M

The start was delayed one minute due to interstate harness racing.

 

BUNDY CUTTER was the best to begin.  THEY WATCH, LOTS OF TIME and MAYWYN ACCOLADES were tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  MAYWYN ACCOLADES and BLUEFIRE CHALICE bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  SUPERFORMANCE and AMY’S ELITE bumped on the turn into the front straight.

ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING BEST 8 380M

Even start.  BLACK MASS was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  SLOW DANCER was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  SLOW DANCER and CHIPS AHOY bumped entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.

K.G. HOMEBREW SUPPLIES 4/5th GRADE 498M

MUTLEY ON FRIDAY was the best to begin.  RIFF, NOVA PARTY and WHATTA PASS raced tight and bumped from the start to the first turn resulting in the three greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  TEMNICK checked off MUTLEY ON FRIDAY on the turn into the back straight.  WHATTA A PASS shifted out causing interference to NOVA PARTY and raced very wide into the back straight.

Even start.  CRUSHED ICE and VAL’S MAGIC were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.

T.G.R.C. 5th GRADE 380M

COOPER’S LESSON was the best to begin.  KINDA HOT was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  POUNCING LILIE improved on to the hind quarters of TRAVELLIN’ MAN in the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground causing interference to OLD MATERIAL.
