Stewards Trial 1 – 380m

The greyhound RAMBO RITSON performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.66.

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

ANGLISS MEATS TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380M

MIRA’S DJAY was the best to begin.  DYNA PIETRO, ROCKET’S BUDDY and SILVER SNIPER were slow to begin.  SPILL THE BEER checked off the heels of MIRA’S DJAY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SPILL THE BEER checked off the heels of ROCKET’S BUDDY and lost ground prior to entering the front straight causing interference to DYNA PIETRO.  GOOD THING BLOCK raced wide into the front straight.  ROCKET’S BUDDY shifted out entering the front straight and raced wide.  SILVER SNIPER was inspected by the veterinarian after the race after finishing a distant last.  Connections were advised that the performance of the greyhound was bordering on unsatisfactory, however as this was the greyhound’s first start a warning was issued.

JUST PERFECT KITCHENS MAIDEN 380M

Even start with OH MY BLONDE very slow to leave the boxes.  A warning was issued as stewards deemed the performance at the boxes to be bordering on unsatisfactory.  SONIC PEARL was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  ILLY BALE was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  BANJO AN’ HENRY and SILVER WEASEL bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  OH MY BLONDE shifted out across the heels of BANJO AN’ HENRY on the turn into the front straight resulting in interference to WANT MORE back on to SILVER WEASEL.  SONIC PEARL raced wide into the front straight.

TGBOTA 5th GRADE 380M

SILVER MOUSE and BELLE’S HAWKE were the best to begin.  SLATER’S PICK and ALL LIQUORED UP were slow to begin.  BELLE’S HAWKE checked off POPPY CHOOKY and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  Shortly after SLATER’S PICK checked off the heels of BELLE’S HAWKE losing considerable ground causing interference to ALL LIQUORED UP.  WINNIE’S ROSE and POPPY CHOOKY raced wide in the front straight

S & E ESSERY BEST 8 498M

Even start with INNOCENT MAN slow to begin.  ASA ABBANDANDO was tightened for racing room and checked off BRUTON MISS on the first turn after the start.  SPUDNUT checked off KERRIE’S A MINX on the turn into the back straight resulting in SPUDNUT becoming unbalanced bumping BRUTON MISS out on to SLOW DANCER causing the three greyhounds to lose considerable ground.  ASA ABBANDANDO checked off the heels of SPUDNUT and lost some ground entering the back straight.  SLOW DANCER checked off BRUTON MISS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  INNOCENT MAN and KERRIE’S A MINX bumped on the turn into the front straight.

5.

OLSEN FAMILY 4/5th GRADE 498M

KORCHECK was the best to begin.  WHATTA PASS was slow to begin.  KAPPOW, BURNER BANT and BLACK MASS bumped approaching the first turn after the start resulting in WHATTA PASS and KAPPOW becoming unbalanced and losing ground causing interference to MR. CANNA.  MR. CANNA raced wide into the front straight.

MAGIC CARPET CLEANING 5th GRADE 380M

Even start with GOLDENPAW FLYER and GOOD PEOPLE slow to begin.  SLIPPERY COIN was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  GO PRANCER GO checked off FARINGDON and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight causing some inconvenience to GOLDENPAW FLYER.  GOLDENPAW FLYER checked across the heels of GO PRANCER GO to race wide into the front straight.

K BAKER & B MILNE 5th GRADE 380M

Even start.  General tightening occurred shortly after the start, resulting in NOT FADE AWAY, COOPER’S LESSON and PALEFACE SCOTCH all losing ground. With PALEFACE SCOTCH almost falling.  TRAVELLIN’ MAN was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

8.

RQ YOUNG GUNS FINAL 380M

TOES and SMOKEY WISHES were the best to begin.  ARTS was slow to begin.  DOWNTOWN PIXIE knuckled over and lost ground as the start was effected.  WILLY ROCKET checked off TOES and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  RUEBEN LUCKA and RHONDA’S YOGI raced wide into the front straight.

9.

GECKO TRANSPORT 3/4th GRADE 380M

TEMNICK was the best to begin.  BROTHER ROB was slow to begin.  OLD MATE KICK and TEMNICK bumped on several occasions approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to OLD MATE KICK and TEMNICK losing ground.  BROTHER ROB checked off FROM THE TAP and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

S SCHUBERT 4/5th GRADE 380M

GAGAL ELL was the best to begin.  ROCKIN’ TONIGHT knuckled over and lost ground shortly after the start.  SIR REGINALD checked off GAGAN ELL and lost ground in the back straight.  SIR REGINALD and GO GWAN were tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  TRISHA NOLAN checked off BEAMING BOUNCER and lost ground on the turn into the front straight causing interference to ROCKIN’ TONIGHT.
