General: The track was power harrowed on Sunday to a depth of 150mm. As a result, race times may be slower than normal.

Race 1 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 1 MAIDEN 380m

2 Young Yank – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Scallop Boat – Very slow to begin.

8 Miss Ballantyne – Bumped by another runner rounding the first turn and lost forward momentum. Raced wide in the home straight.

Race 2 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 380m

2 Shiro Kuma – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn.

3 Showtime Bruce – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

4 Calibration – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start and was checked losing ground.

8 Eris Lucy – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

Race 3 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 3 MAIDEN 380m

1 Joni Rudderless – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the first turn and lost ground.

2 Wally's Boy – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Barry Cool – Slow to begin. Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

6 Seaton Key – Slow to begin.

Race 4 - NQ MARINA FRESH SEAFOOD NOVICE 380m

1 Tarantula – Inconvenienced by another runner at the top of the home straight.

2 Puffin Bluey – Turned its head outwards for several strides and visibly eased in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormities. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Greta Thomson regarding Puffin Bluey’s racing manners in the home straight. After reviewing the video footage of the race, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR124(1) charged Puffin Bluey with Failing to Pursue (2^nd offence) and was stood down from racing for 28 days at all tracks plus the completion of a satisfactory trial.

3 Jax The Hunter – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked losing considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

4 Showtime Smiley – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Shifted out and raced wide in the home straight.

8 Mali's Thylacine – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked.

9 Gunnadoo Avenue (7) – Bumped by another runner rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground.

10 Illegal Tender (5) – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

Race 5 - LOVESY & WAWA GRADE 5 (1) 380m

4 Astor – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Run Rex Run – Slow to begin.

6 Fat Jack – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

8 Showtime Caesar – Raced wide through the home turn and throughout the remainder of the race.

Race 6 – TAB GRADE 4 380m

2 Danyo's Clint – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Just Too Fancy – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground.

5 Iron Lad – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

7 Patty's Regret – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 7 - CIGNALL GARBUTT GRADE 5 498m

2 Stressful Nut – Checked off the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and lost ground.

3 Ponte Santangelo – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the back straight. Bumped with another runner several times rounding the home turn.

4 Striker Jack – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the turn off the back straight.

5 Mulga Bill – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Bumped with another runner several times rounding the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no abnormalities.

Race 8 - MATTHEW ASHELFORD MIXED 3/4 498m

3 Balts Assassin – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight. Raced wide in the home straight.

4 More Sensation – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

5 Stressful Hope – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

7 Amarillo Slim – Checked across the heels of another runner in the home straight.

Race 9 - LACHLAN ALBION BEST 8 380m

2 Aston Rupiah – Slow to begin. Bumped by another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

5 Limitless Speed – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Shifted out and bumped with another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

7 Silent Key – Checked across the heels of another runner rounding the home turn.

Race 10 - JEFF LYNCH MIXED 4/5 380m

1 Mali's Bullet – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked losing ground. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the home turn and became momentarily unbalanced.

5 Fulton – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start.

6 Never Cry – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start. Bumped by another runner at the top of the home straight.

7 Out Of Glory – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the home turn and was checked.

Race 11 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION GRADE 5 (2) 380m

1 Evil Mario – Slow to begin.

3 Elusive Emma – Slow to begin. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Instant Gold – Very slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

6 Wolf Hall – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked.

Race 12 - PARKER RACING KENNELS GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Just Don't Smoke – Slow to begin. Improved onto the heels of another runner leaving the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Stressful Day – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Checked leaving the first turn losing ground.

3 Golden Rule – Slow to begin.

6 Zip And Zoomer – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.
