Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 4/5 498m

3 Balts Assassin – Raced wide throughout the back straight. Raced wide throughout the home straight.

6 Bobbie Jean – Slow to begin.

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE 0-3 WINS 498m

2 Renegade Warrior – Dragged down by another runner rounding the second turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Ritza Benny – Checked off another runner shortly after the start. Checked off another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

4 Warbel Tony – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the second turn.

7 Phoenix Luck – Checked off the heels of another runner exiting the second turn.

8 Mister Rambutan – Clipped on the heels by another runner exiting the second turn.

Race 7 - SHOWTIME LODGE @ CHURCHABLE GRADE 4 380m

1 Panel Damage – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

2 Zena Arena – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner exiting the first turn.

3 Instant Gold – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner rounding the first turn. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

4 Barefoot Di – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked. Clipped on the heels by another runner exiting the first turn.

5 Balts Orson – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked.

6 Perfect Pacific – Bumped with another runner in the back straight. Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Fingal Bay – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

8 Yellow Car – Bumped with another runner in the back straight. Clipped on the heels by another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 8 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING BEST 8 380m

1 Senor Yogi – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to kennel representative T. Parker regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr T. Parker advised Stewards that he was disappointed in the run today and expected a much stronger performance. Mr. T. Parker further advised that while the greyhound races best when in clear running, in today’s event the greyhound was in restricted room when approaching and rounding the first turn which appeared to have impacted its ability to reach full stride, adding that Senor Yogi may not be in peak race fitness despite having been worked accordingly, due to not having started in 17 days. Mr T. Parker advised that he would report to the Stewards in the coming days should anything that may have impacted the greyhounds performance come to light and would reconsider starting the greyhound in its nominated event on Tuesday 06/06/2023 if unhappy with its recovery.  

3 Magic Fever – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

4 Balts Obsession – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

5 Blazing Infrared – Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

Race 9 - TAB MIXED 4/5 380m

1 Henryk Bale – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

3 Daisy Moments – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

4 Malligan Bale – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

5 Scott Or Not – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked. Shortened stride when rounding the home turn when in clear running, appearing to have sustained an injury. Finished tailed off. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg and was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to any future nominations being accepted. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound Injury Review Panel.

7 Federal Power – Slipped on the starting mat. Checked off another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 10 - HICKORY INDUSTRIES GRADE 5 (2) 380m

4 Hara's Houdini – Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn.

7 Miss The Deck – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Put in an awkward stride approaching the first turn.

8 Fortune Of War – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner rounding the home turn becoming momentarily unbalanced.

Race 11 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5PW 380m

1 Prince Ebby – Slow to begin. Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

2 Winter Skye – Slow to begin. Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

6 Polarizer – Slow to begin. Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.

8 Boots On – Bumped with another runner approaching the first turn.
