Slow to begin. Pulled hard in the early stages when racing three wide with cover. Rider J. Lloyd was unable to offer any tangible explanation for the horse’s poor performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery. Trainer T. Gollan reported that on return to his stable the horse underwent an endoscopic examination which revealed the presence of grade 3 mucus. Mr Gollan was advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
