Had to be steadied and shift ground outwards near the 150m when runners to its inside shifted wider on the track. When questioned regarding the performance jockey J Stanley stated after missing the jump MACHINATE settled at the back of the field which was not its normal racing pattern. He attempted to improve its position prior to the home turn however the mare failed to improve its position as expected and only battled in the home straight
