Rider T. Brooker reported the horse was inclined to lay out rounding the home turn. Placed in restricted room and had to be steadied over final 100m when SONGZILLA shifted ground. L Allen, rider of SONGZILLA, was reprimanded under AR131(a) for careless riding in this incident.

Began awkwardly and lost ground. At the winning post placed in restricted room and contacted the running rail and became severely unbalanced when RAMTASTIC was taken in by A GOOD CHANCE. H Richardson, rider of A GOOD CHANCE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of RAMTASTIC which was taken resulting in DREAM WEAVING being checked. The licence of H Richardson to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days to commence midnight 13th August up to and including midnight 20th August 2022.
