When questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance, stable representative for Mr S Morrisey reported that at its most recent start the gelding was racing at metropolitan level and for that reason he felt the drop back in class was a significant advantage for the gelding in today’s event. He also added that the geldings only other win was also at the gold coast and therefore in his opinion the gelding is suited best when racing at this venue.
