When shifting out to improve leaving the 300m, brushed the hind quarters of MILNE BAY, which shifted back in as a consequence. Placed in restricted room shortly thereafter and had to be steadied when ACADEMY HILL shifted out marginally.

Hampered shortly after the start. Raced wide throughout. Apprentice T. Williams was questioned regarding her riding rounding the home turn and in the home straight. Apprentice Williams stated that she was instructed not to apply the whip on the mare as two starts ago she rode the mare in a similar fashion when she was successful at Warwick. Trainer G. Cornish confirmed that the mare resents the use of the whip and added that it was his intention that it would settle in a forward position today and that he will issue similar instructions going forward.
