RACE TWO

FALCON VISTA (7) should get the perfect trip from this alley and be ready to take the closing shot when the gaps arrive. His last start from gate 6 was a solid effort when working home nicely for 3rd and 3 starts back he used the passing lane when a half-neck 2nd. Look for him charging through.

RADAR HILL (10) has no favours from this gate but he has worked his way into form since resuming from a spell and last start made the most of the pocket trail to finish best along the passing lane. The start prior he hit the line strongly from back in the pack to grab the silver and this is within reach.

MINI MIRACLE (9) will appreciate getting back to the sprint trip following a sound effort last time over the 2040m. A tough winner from the breeze over this trip 2 starts back she can challenge.

KAANAPALI (1) resumes from a spell and lands the perfect gate to utilise his early speed. This is his best gate in some time and if forward enough in condition will be fighting them off.

SELECTIONS: FALCON VISTA (7), RADAR HILL (10), MINI MIRACLE (9), KAANAPALI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FALCON VISTA (7) to win

RACE THREE

OMINOUS FLYER (1) has some ordinary numbers against his name but he should find this much more to his liking after his past 3 have been from wide gates. Grabbed in the last strides when looking to lead throughout here 4 starts back, he hasn’t been closer than gate 5 his next 3. This suits.

FAKEROCKNROLL (6) has the wide gate but he can do some work in his races when needed and comes into this as a winner in 2 of his past 4. Sent o the front from gate 4 at Armidale last start he held on for a strong win in good time. Doing his best work when near the front he is in the fight.

UNASSUMING CHAMP (10) made a mess of the start last time out but still returned a game effort after pressing ahead and grabbed up the passing lane. He is in good touch and can feature.

HERITAGE BEACH (9) rolled forward from gate 5 last start and was strong from the breeze when only 3m from the winner RUTHLESS ARMBRO. With even luck in transit he won’t be too far away.

SELECTIONS: OMINOUS FLYER (1), FAKEROCKNROLL (6), UNASSUMING CHAMP (10), HERITAGE BEACH (9)
SUGGESTED BET: OMINOUS FLYER (1) to win

RACE FOUR

DATSGOOD (2)
was a comfortable winner here 3 starts back when able to find the front from gate 4 and once in control was never in danger. Her 2 starts since that win have seen her work hard in the run which have not suited. The front looks hers to take and in control can light the lamps to victory.

RITCHIE BEE (8) wasmt too far away here 2 starts back when 8m from the winner VELOCE BELLA and then last start from gate 5 was wide off the track. Its been a while between drinks but from this gate he can follow through to find a handy position and can look to make a late rally.

GIGANTIC JASPER (9) held on for 3rd from the pocket trail here 2 starts back and last start couldn’t work into the contest in the latter stages when finishing mid-field. In this line-up he looks better placed.

CHUMP CHOP (5) snagged back from gate 6 last start to go luck hunting along the pegs and in a solid closing 800m was never a factor from the rear. With a slice of luck, he is an exotic chance.

SELECTIONS: DATSGOOD (2), RITCHIE BEE (8), GIGANTIC JASPER (9), CHUMP CHOP (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DATSGOOD (2) to win

RACE FIVE

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (10) is in good touch and despite coming up with the outside 2nd line draw looks to be able to overcome the obstacle. Finding the front at Armidale last start he was too slick in front and cruised home to a big 29m victory. That was solid reward for placings in his previous 3 and he can continue here.

GETINANHANGON (8) started fav at AP on Fri where he was able to find the pegs but then hampered behind a tiring leader. He hit the line in good style 2 starts back when 4m from the winner and with even luck in transit can be looking to power home late.

ROWDYS ACE (7) will need a slice of luck from this alley, however with the 1 1st up for a new stable and possessing good gate speed, he might just end up in a stalking spot. If the favours fall his way look for the grey sprinting late.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (5) will strip fitter following her return last start where she made the most of conditions and returned an all the way 1st up win. The gate hurts but she can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TOO GOOD FOR YOU (10), GETINANHANGON (8), ROWDYS ACE (7), MIRACLESDOAPPEN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TOO GOOD FOR YOU (10) each-way

RACE SIX

JIGGLE AND JIVE (6)
was impressive when wining on debut over the AP sprint trip and will come into this with further experience and confidence from the outing. Finding the 1x1 trail from gate 4 she let down nicely in the stretch to arrive for the prize. She isn’t afforded any favours from this gate but is worthy of top billing.

ALBION ARK (1) is a Mach Three gelding on debut for the Grant Dixon team and is the 4th foal to the track for Arks Crystal with the 1t 3 all having tasted success. He did everything right in a trial to prepare for his debut and scored in good order. With the gate advantage he is right in the fight.

ROLLONX (5) returned a tidy effort on debut from gate 6 here on the triangle and followed that with a passing lane win at his 2nd start at AP when sprinting hard in the closing stages. He can feature.

ART EGO (4) will take good benefit from his debut when finishing mid-field after having no luck in the run and could have finished closer with a better passage. He warrants inclusion in the exotics.

SELECTIONS: JIGGLE AND JIVE (6), ALBION ARK (1), ROLLONX (5), ART EGO (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

TAXI METER (4) will be fitter following his return to the track last start after a 9 week lay-off. Sent to the front from gate 3 over the sprint trip here 2 starts back he closed out in good panels to claim the prize. He set the tempo at his return when the talented TROJAN BANNER took the spoils. He looks better suited here.

ALI DOWNUNDER (6) worked hard last start when forced to roll the sleeves outside the smart ESCALERA. He found the line in good style the start prior when snagged back from gate 5 to settle near the rear. He isn’t having muck luck from the barrier but this looks within reach.

PRESLEYBEGOOD (7) will be needing some favours in transit but if they fall her way can be in the mix. Pressing on to find the front from gate 5 last start she controlled the speed for a narrow win.

STUDLEIGH WILL (1) should be able to secure a nice run in transit here and with the economical run can look to issue a closing play. He led throughout here 2 starts back and will be thereabouts in this.

SELECTIONS: TAXI METER (4), ALI DOWNUNDER (6), PRESLEYBEGOOD (7), STUDLEIGH WILL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TAXI METER (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

ONYA DOUG (1)
started fav here 2 starts back when 2nd up from a spell and from gate 2 never had the speed to cross the 1 which left him forced to breeze. Fading to hold on for 5th he was able to make the final of the series where he was locked away in the run. From gate 1 he can look to dictate.

CALL ME TRISH (6) settled nicely in the running line from the 2nd line last start and was closing out in good order to get within a neck of victory. Slowly starting to put it all together, her run 3 starts back was a tidy effort when chasing home from back in the pack and she can podium here.

SWEET SCOOT (2) was locked away against the markers here 3 starts back and worked home to grab the silver. This will be easier than her last start and settling handy from this alley has claims.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (8) doesn’t have the sharpest numbers next to his name. Yet his run at Marburg 3 back suggests with the right run in transit he can look to chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: ONYA DOUG (1), CALL ME TRISH (6), SWEET SCOOT (2), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ONYA DOUG (1) to win

RACE NINE

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (4)
is crying out to win a race and strikes conditions to take advantage of here. From inside the 2nd line last start he was off early to the breeze and fought gamely when 8m from the all the way winner TIMELESS APPEAL. Only beaten a half-neck 3 starts back he can take control here.

MY ULTIMATE SPORT (3) will be fitter following his return here last start when 1st up for the term. Starting from the 2nd line as a red figure fav, he grabbed the bronze when 4m from the winner. With good early speed he can look to get forward and can throw down the challenge.

AT RANDOM (7) was too far back when trying to chase around the tight Armidale track which had followed a 3rd at Inverell. With the early options as the lone 2nd liner, he can be in the mix.

COMMODORE JUJON (1) returns to start his 3YO season after a 2YO term that returned a win and 2 placings from 10 outings, with both placings coming on the triangle from 2 appearances. He has podium claims 1st up.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (4), MY ULTIMATE SPORT (3), AT RANDOM (7), COMMODORE JUJON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (4) to win
