RACE TWO

PATSDELIGHT (2) stepped cleanly here last start and made full use of the handicap advantage to take them all the way. The closing 800m panel was strong and despite moving back 10m from the win, can look to step to the front and give them something to chase.

HONEY PLEASE (3) returns from a Vic campaign that netted wins in 2 of her past 4 starts. Both wins were under mobile conditions with the last start win a nice effort when finishing over the top, running some pleasing sectionals. She is right in the fight here.

OLE SUN (8) has the 60m to overcome, yet he is in great touch at present with a top 3 finish at his past 5 in succession including a hat-trick of wins. He will be charging home once again.

There was plenty to like about the 1st Qld appearance of REDRIVERDEBBA (10) at Redcliffe when hitting the line nicely behind DAY TOURER for 2nd. Look for her working into this strongly.

SELECTIONS: PATSDELIGHT (2), HONEY PLEASE (3), OLE SUN (8), REDRIVERDEBBA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: PATSDELIGHT (2) to win

RACE THREE

TAXI METER (2) was well held here on Tue in a finish where they were spaced with BEEF CITY STARZZZ taking the prize. His effort 2 starts back was solid when finding the line in good order after going back from gate 7. This is the best gate at his past 5 and he can take full advantage.

RANCHO MAN (5) broke through for a maiden breaking win here on Tue when able to find the front from gate 4 and dictate in front to score by 4m. With good early speed he can look to fire out again here and if able to dictate again will take some stopping.

LA PISTOLA (6) has been a beaten fav at his 2 career starts with the latest when having no luck in finding open space. His debut was a tough effort and if able to limit the early work can feature.

TIMSTAR (4) is on the back-up from Wed night when the effort was good. His run 2 starts back was sound when cutting the breeze and he has place aspirations.

SELECTIONS: TAXI METER (2), RANCHO MAN (5), LA PISTOLA (6), TIMSTAR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 2-4-5-6

RACE FOUR

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (8)
has the benefit of being the lone 2nd line runner so can get away from the pegs early if required. She has been well held in recent outings with her run 4 starts back when pressing on to the front at Redcliffe a tidy effort. This race is wide open and she is some hope.

MYBELLA ROSE (4) resumes from a spell and was last seen back in June when fading late behind SHEZA GALVINATOR. Taking benefit from the spell, she can look to fire out early and won’t be far away.

PRETTYCOMPACT (3) didn’t have the best of luck last time out when mid-field at Redcliffe. Out of luck in her past few starts, from this alley she can look to make her own luck to break her maiden.

ANGELOFSPEED (2) has some early speed and might just be able to hold them all wide and look to take control. She faded out after trying to lead them up last start and will be fighting hard here.

SELECTIONS: THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (8), MYBELLA ROSE (4), PRETTYCOMPACT (3), ANGELOFSPEED (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

BETTERTHAN TORQUE (1) cashed-in after some tidy efforts where she had been mid-field in successive starts. Doing the hard yards in the breeze on Wed night at Redcliffe she packed too many guns to score. With the confidence and the options she can look to finish her 3YO term with another win.

JAKES ARK (9) will be 2nd up from a break and take good benefit from his return run after being shuffled back from inside the 2nd line to be 12m from the winner. He found the line strongly 3 starts back at Redcliffe and with the right cover can finish hard here.

IM SANDY BAY (5) returns from a break and has trialled behind a smart performer to prepare. Last seen when leading them up at Redcliffe, she faded late when holding on for 3rd.

TORI MAY (2) is slowly making progress through the season and there has been a bit to like about how she has finished off her past 2. Doing some work in the run last start she fought on fairly and she has place claims.

SELECTIONS: BETTERTHAN TORQUE (1), JAKES ARK (9), IM SANDY BAY (5), TORI MAY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTERTHAN TORQUE (1) to win

RACE SIX

ARGYLE BEACH (7)
has the tough gate to overcome here but has the class factor and is also in stronger form than her opponents here. Finishing best along the passing lane last to land a narrow victory, she was storming home 2 starts back when beaten a head behind LILAC FLASH. Class can prevail.

BOBBIES GIRL (1) will look to make the most of the ace gate and will be fitter from her latest run when 2nd up from a break. Starting off the 2nd line she was hitting the line strongly to be 6m from ARGYLE BEACH. This is her best gate for some time and with the options she can give this a shake.

MACHIN OUT (8) will get a nice trip on the pegs here and can be looking for the gaps to issue a closing sprint. Buried from the same gate last start, he can settle closer here and be probing.

LENNY THE LEGEND (10) was much sharper last start and charging home in the closing stages to get within a nose of ARGYLE BEACH. That followed a handy effort when 3rd to SWEET AS and he will be charging late.

SELECTIONS: ARGYLE BEACH (7), BOBBIES GIRL (1), MACHIN OUT (8), LENNY THE LEGEND (10)
SUGGESTED BET: ARGYLE BEACH (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

LAUGHING EMOJI (1) landed successive wins here over the 2138m and the mile when able to dictate terms from the front on each occasion. Looking to spear out from gate 7 last start she made an error and was banished to the trials. Back in business she can take them all the way.

REGAL ROCK (8) aims up for the hat-trick after successive wins at the middle distance and the mile. His latest win was a tidy effort when arriving right on the line to score. He will be glued to the back of the 1 and be waiting to take the snipers shot.

VINNIE THE POET (12) will strip fitter from his latest start when returning from a break and hitting the line n good style in the closing stages to grab the bronze. He will be finishing hard again.

FAKEROCKNROLL (11) worked to the front last start at Redcliffe and after setting a steady tempo was gunned down in the closing stages. With the right cart into the contest he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: LAUGHING EMOJI (1), REGAL ROCK (8), VINNIE THE POET (12), FAKEROCKNROLL (11)
SUGGESTED BET: LAUGHING EMOJI / REGAL ROCK (1/8) quinella

RACE EIGHT

MAMMALS MAGIC (8)
pressed ahead from gate 5 here 4 starts back and once up near the speed was able to finish best including a 27.5 closer to score. She hasn’t had the greatest of luck since and while she will need plenty of luck again from this alley, she strikes a winnable contest.

ITZ PLEASURABLE (3) made her Qld debut at Redcliffe when buried in the run and followed that with a 4th on the grass at Kilcoy. Forget her last start when she struck trouble and was put out of commission, she can look to make her own luck and can be much sharper.

DOOLITTLE DOOFY (1) was taken back last start from gate 7 and tried to work home in the closing stages when mid-field. With the speed to protect the pegs early, he is in the mix.

ROCKWITH THEDEVIL (10) worked hard in the run last start and dug in gamely in the closing stages behind GLENFERRIE DUSTER. He has no favours from this gate but will be finishing strongly.

SELECTIONS: MAMMALS MAGIC (8), ITZ PLEASURABLE (3), DOOLITTLE DOOFY (1), ROCKWITH THEDEVIL (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MAMMALS MAGIC (8) to win

RACE NINE

VANDE VELDE (6)
features in a stable change and will line up for Kylie Rasmussen. Freshened since his last appearance when fading after burning early behind NONE BETTOR, his run 2 starts back was a tidy effort behind UNCLE PETER. With good early speed he can find position and sneak away with this.

CROWNING GLORY (2) found the front from gate 4 here 2 starts back and after setting the tempo couldn’t see it out and was 3m from the winner PSYCHEDELIC. With the speed to find the pegs here, he can spear across and will be gripping on.

RED LUCK (1) was snagged back from gate 6 last start and ended up a long way back on the pegs when trying to chase. His run here 3 starts back was a good effort and with the cosy trip can feature.

SOHO SHANGHAI (9) was buried away against the pegs last start and found the line in good order when 4th to MONIVAE. With a nice trail through early he can find position and has claims.

SELECTIONS: VANDE VELDE (6), CROWNING GLORY (2), RED LUCK (1), SOHO SHANGHAI (9)
SUGGESTED BET: VANDE VELDE (6) each-way

RACE TEN

STIRLING WILLIAM (9)
started from gate 12 last start over the mile and was tracking into the race in good order when 4th to CHEAP TINT. A winner from gate 10 over this trip 3 starts back, he can follow similar tactics in this by getting into the contest early and throw down the challenge.

COMPLY OR DIE (10) pressed on to find the front from gate 5 at Redcliffe over the 2040m last start and dug in for the fight to go down by 2m. That followed a tough run when 5m from CHEAP TINT after being sent to the breeze and with a cart into this can go close.

IMA MORVEN LAD (1) has found his rhythm and landed wins at 2 of his past 3. Last start he found the pegs before releasing and then was too slick up the passing lane. With the options he can go close here.

THREO (11) went looking for the pegs from gate 4 here on Tues and dropped into the trail and could only manage 3rd to OUR MELS DREAM. With even luck he can storm home into the money.

SELECTIONS: STIRLING WILLIAM (9), COMPLY OR DIE (10), IMA MORVEN LAD (1), THREO (11)
SUGGESTED BET: STIRLING WILLIAM (9) to win

RACE ELEVEN

HEAVENS HURRICANE (1)
will strip fitter from his latest start when 2nd up from a break. Starting off the 2nd line over the sprint trip at Redcliffe, he was attacking the line in good order to go under a neck. From the gate he can look to take control of this for a season ending win.

PACIFIC DRUMS (11) went into the Qld derby off the back off successive Penrith wins and after looking for the shortcuts on the pegs the effort was good behind MASTER MOONLITE. Forget his latest start when there was an issue, he can bounce back strongly here.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8) led them up early before releasing last start over the 2138m trip but couldn’t see it out. Back to the mile will suit and with the cosy trip can look to finish in the money.

SNAKES N LADDERS (9) broke through for a deserved win last start after some consistent performances. He steps up again here but can look for the pegs early and with the cheap run be finishing into the money late.

SELECTIONS: HEAVENS HURRICANE (1), PACIFIC DRUMS (11), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8), SNAKES N LADDERS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFIC DRUMS (11) each-way
