RQ Website improvements

Racing Queensland would like to thank stakeholders for their patience during a scheduled one-hour outage this morning to deploy some key improvements to our website. Racing Queensland always welcomes feedback to make further improvements to our website, so please share your thoughts with us here.

Below are some key improvements you will notice.

Enhanced trainers’ race planner

The Thoroughbred Race Planner is a tool which aims to help Thoroughbred trainers and owners to plot a campaign for their horse. There have been some functionality improvements made to simplify filters, making it easier to find suitable races.

The tool allows you to enter a horse's name to see their details. You can then select the filters such as dates, distance, prize money, region sex, age and class to help you map out the right campaign for your horse.

You can select more than one box for each category. You can then select your chosen races and click "export" to download the details of these races into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Change to the News listing widget

We have also simplified news listings on the homepage to display the most recent headlines into a simplified view. Important news and industry updates will now stay on the homepage longer to better communicate key information to the industry.

CHANGES TO PROFILES

There are changes to profiles to better display recent form and video replays.

Profiles now default to display form. A user can select the statistics tab for Thorougbred Horses, Jockeys and Trainers. You can now also filter a Thoroughbred horse’s statistics between career and 12-monthly statistics.
