RACE ONE

JOYS A BABE (8)
has 4 starts this prep and raced strongly in FFA company in each. Last start she attacked the line hard to be 3m from GLENFERRIE HOOD and 3 back was only beaten a half-head. With the cosy trip she will take the last shot.
MAJESTIC MAJOR (1) was making ground along the passing lane last start while here he gets the chance to go wire to wire. There doesn’t look to be a lot of pressure which can play into his chances.
VILLAGE WITCH (2) is the form mare in Qld and been runner-up in 3 of her past 4 starts in FFA company. She will need cover but can swoop home.
IDEAL SCOTT (9) hasn’t been far away in recent starts, can take the easy option here and drop to the pegs for the shortcuts.

SELECTIONS: JOYS A BABE (8), MAJESTIC MAJOR (1), VILLAGE WITCH (2), IDEAL SCOTT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JOYS A BABE/MAJESTIC MAJOR (1/8) Quinella

RACE TWO

KARLOO MAC (4) made the most of an improved gate and finding the front with ease from gate 2 last start was able to take them all the way in comfortable fashion with a 7m margin in hand. He can fire out to the pegs again and over the mile can take them wire to wire.
MASTER MONTANA (1) was shooting for the hat-trick on Thurs at Redcliffe. Prior to that run he had landed successive wins at Tamworth and then Reddy when working home from the 2nd line. A quick beginner he gets the options here.
CASINO TOMMY (8) is likely to be buried away in the run here he can be steaming home when he can see space.
WAMBOYNE WOODY (10) returns to Qld and while the gate hurts with more racing look for him to feature in coming weeks.

SELECTIONS: KARLOO MAC (4), MASTER MONTANA (1), CASINO TOMMY (8), WAMBOYNE WOODY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: KARLOO MAC (4) to win

RACE THREE

GAME WE PLAY (9) was too far back last start and against the tempo couldn’t make any ground. The same scenario greeted him 2 starts back behind FIREBBY. 3 back he was only 3m from the flying MAKO BANNER and in this line-up with some early tempo he can look to work home over the top.
CROWNING GLORY (8) returned a tough effort 3 starts back and followed that with an all the way win here over the mile. Beaten at red figures last start, he can follow the speed here and with the last shot look to prevail.
SURFACE TO AIR (1) can be very chancey when drawn on the pegs and comes with the buyer beware tag. If he gets it right he can look to dictate.
WITH AUTHORITY (7) returns following a solid campaign where he was racing against stronger types than he meets here.

SELECTIONS: GAME WE PLAY (9), CROWNING GLORY (8), SURFACE TO AIR (1), WITH AUTHORITY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GAME WE PLAY (9) to win

CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (2) finally lands a marble and can look to take full advantage here. 5m away last start after being buried away and using the passing lane, 2 starts back he was only a half-neck from the flying MAKO BANNER. With the improved alley he gets every chance.
OUTLAW FELLA (5) scored wins in 2 of his previous 3 coming in to his assignment last week and looked well placed to follow the speed. Banished to 3 back along the pegs he made good closing ground in a sub 27 last panel set from the front. He is in the mix.
YOUNG AMERICAN (1) has been battling the barrier gods starting from gate 6 or 7 at each of his past 5. Look for a turnaround.
TREVS NO ANGEL (7) returns from a spell and is always a risk at the start, if he can score up and fire off the arm in his normal manner, he can set some early fireworks.

SELECTIONS: CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (2), OUTLAW FELLA (5), YOUNG AMERICAN (1), TREVS NO ANGEL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (2) to win

RACE FIVE

WEEDONS EXPRESS (5) is going better than his numbers suggest and is racing well. 3 starts back he was only 2m from the winner GASMONKEY and last start found it tricky from gate 6. With plenty of speed inside here, he can settle handy and be ready to strike late in a winnable contest.
BETTOR TOGETHER (6) worked home well to score here 2 starts back. He couldn’t work into it last start when down the line behind TOP TRIO but should find this a shade easier and be in the mix.
GLOVEMAN GILLY (9) exploded away from them for an impressive win 6 starts back and then 4 runs back finished best for a nice win. Look for him working into it late.
FIERY BLUE CHIP (2) found his race at Redcliffe 3 starts back and sent straight to the front was able to hold on. He struck trouble last start and can look to fire out to the pegs to take control.

SELECTIONS: WEEDONS EXPRESS (5), BETTOR TOGETHER (6), GLOVEMAN GILLY (9), FIERY BLUE CHIP (2)
SUGGESTED BET: WEEDONS EXPRESS (5) to win

RACE SIX

OUR MAJOR DAY (4)
was an impressive winner here on Tues when sent to the front from the 3-hole and kept the pace on for a career best win rate. He has been no further than 7m from the winner at his previous 4 starts and can fire the first shot again here and look to go wire to wire.
MISTER BLACKJACK (10) secured successive wins here at his 1st 2 runs back from a break and followed that with a credible 2nd to JOSSIE JAMES. His run last start had merit behind CHARMS ON A ROLL and with the right cart into this can issue a serious challenge.
CLINTAL DO (9) finally did what he had been promising to do for some weeks on Tues when finishing strongly over the top to defeat ELENIARK, running some sizzling closing sections.
KEARNEY LANE (1) was a good winner when tucked in behind the speed at Redcliffe 5 starts back. With the similar trip she can feature.

SELECTIONS: OUR MAJOR DAY (4), MISTER BLACKJACK (10), CLINTAL DO (9), KEARNEY LANE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-9-10

RACE SEVEN

MAKO BANNER (2) has won 4 of his past 5 and been beaten a half-head in the other. Amazingly he was 100-1 from gate 6 last week, but was fired out to find the pegs and controlled the race to take them all the way ripping home in 26.9. On last week’s effort he leads and wins.
WRITTEN IN RED (3) started inside the 2nd line here last week which is not his go and that saw him buried in the run and didn’t get the clearest shot when rattling late for 3rd. Better suited from this gate he can apply the acid.
BETTABE PERFECT (5) was attacking the line in the closing stages when 4m from BEAVER last start. Look for him swooping again.
MAFUTA VAUTIN (8) is slowly working his way back into form and was making good late metres last week behind BEAVER. Place claims.

SELECTIONS: MAKO BANNER (2), WRITTEN IN RED (3), BETTABE PERFECT (5), MAFUTA VAUTIN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-3-5-8

RACE EIGHT

FRANKIE ROCKS (7)
resumes from a spell after winning here back in November when proving too strong from a 2nd line gate. His trial to prepare for this was a brilliant effort and at his best he takes this.
MAYWYNS BEST (3) has claimed the bronze at his past 3 in succession when working home in the run in each. He found the line strongly last start to get within 3m of the winner and from this gate can look to dictate.
OVERLAP (9) was a winner 5 starts back when leading throughout from gate 2 over the mile. Look for him closing out strongly.
FEEL THE COURAGE (5) was an all the way winner here 2 starts back from gate 2 and keeping the tempo up all the way over the 2138m. He is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: FRANKIE ROCKS (7), MAYWYNS BEST (3), OVERLAP (9), FEEL THE COURAGE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANKIE ROCKS (7) to win

RACE NINE

GANGSTER BOY (4)
was crossed here last start from gate 1 and then raced in the pocket trail when a 3m 2nd to the flying MAK BANNER. 3 starts back he was a strong winner from the 2nd line over this trip and sent forward he can bully his way to the front and keep them chasing.
TOP TRIO (1) has put it together and shoots for the hat-trick.. An all the way winner from gate 2 over the mile, with the last shot he can challenge.
ARROKEEFE (8) was a passing lane winner 5 starts back and since that win has struggled to land a marble. He can enjoy a cosy trip and be sprinting hard when the gaps present.
TALLYHO BROMAC (2) was back in the pack last start when nothing made any ground from the back behind MAKO BANNER. In this line-up can settle handy and be ready to challenge.

SELECTIONS: GANGSTER BOY (4), TOP TRIO (1), ARROKEEFE (8), TALLYHO BROMAC (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GANGSTER BOY (4) to win

RACE TEN

COVERT BEAUTY (9)
looked to lead throughout over this trip 4 starts back and was grabbed late up the passing lane by ONE WISE MAN who has franked that with another win on Tuesday. Not far away at her next 2 she found her race last start when too strong for them over the mile. She can work around them and out-stay this lot.
HAVETOGETAWAYMORE (1) will get the perfect trip and be ready to use her good closing sprint. She wasn’t suited on Wed night at Redcliffe. The gate suits in this.
CALL ME YOURS (6) worked home strongly for 2nd to KARLOO MAC last start over the mile. Preferring the 2138m trip she can look for running line position and be working home late.
THE MUSE (5) hasn’t been too far away at her past few starts including a head 2nd to TOP TRIO 2 starts back. Beaten by gate 12 last start she will be better suited back to mares only.

SELECTIONS: COVERT BEAUTY (9), HAVETOGETAWAYMORE (1), CALL ME YOURS (6), THE MUSE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: COVERT BEAUTY (9) to win
