RACE ONE

LEFT A TERROR (1) has finished 3^rd at both his race starts and been solid in both when facing the breeze in each and fighting all the way. Beaten 7m on debut he was then 5m from MAYWYN TOUGH last week. With the good gate he gets he gets his chance to breakthrough.

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE (6) was a winner on debut here 2 weeks back when he found the position behind the leader and then took the winning shot up the passing lane. He did everything right that day and despite the gate can call on his experience and natural improvement to issue a challenge.

RACE TWO

RED CHARMER (1) is a talented filly that was only beaten by the barrier last start when running LUCKY UNLUCKY to a nose. Starting from the 2^nd line she was hitting the line strongly in the closing stage to just go under. She will need to hustle early to hold the front, but once that battle has won she should be too smart.

LUCKY UNLUCKY (2) has good early speed and probably has the speed to cross to the front if needed. With no 2^nd line they might be happier to slide in behind the 1 for the cosy run and take the last shot. He is talented in his own right and is the obvious threat.

RACE THREE

COREY WILLIAM (6) has been good this season but had been struggling to get the right run or land a decent gate. Last start at Redcliffe he again drew badly, but found the right line-up and with plenty on his opponents displayed that with a 25m victory. With that confidence he can cause the upset.

ARK PATROL (1) will be a short-quote from this gate after winning his past 2 in succession, the most recent of those a strong effort from gate 6 on a wet track when spearing out to find the front and was then never headed. He can hold the early advantage and will be hard to stop.

RACE FOUR

THATS HOW WEROLL (6) has the wide gate to contend with but he should appreciate this class of race having met much stronger types in recent outings.  2 starts back he was 3^rd behind CLINTAL DO and ELENIARK and the tempo was against him last start. This looks an ideal target and he can cash-in.

MR MEDDLE (8) will need a slice of luck from this gate but has been racing well in similar company. Last start he was buried away on the pegs and hit the line in good order when 4^th to TOMEARA, running some nice closing panels. A tough Redcliffe winner 3 starts back, he is not far off this.

RACE FIVE

ELENIARK (2) has been runner-up at her past 3 in succession and at her past 6 starts has been no closer than gate 6. Last start in a Rising Stars Final she circled from the 2^nd line and did all the work outside THREE OF THE BEST to run him to a head. From this gate she looks to have every chance.

CLINTAL DO (5) shoots for the hat-trick after winning at the 2138m trip at his past 2 starts. @ runs back he worked hard in the run and was too strong for ELENIARK and last start attacked the line strongly from a 2^nd line gate. He has found touch and is a big danger.

RACE SIX

GOVINNI (9) was a winner 4 starts back when able to get a 2^nd stanza breather in front and held them off t score an all the way win. Forget he went around last start where he struck trouble, he can get the perfect trip here behind the likely leader and can look to outsprint them.

MY AJAYE (1) worked hard in the run last start when facing the breeze and claiming 4^th behind BOB GAGE. He has been scratched out of Mondays rescheduled meeting to take on this, so there may be a guide in that. With the good gate he can look to go all the way.

RACE SEVEN

IM NORMA JEAN (1) has been struggling in recent starts, but has also been landing wide gates which don’t suit. She gets in here on a big class drop having taken on a Rising Stars final last time out when mid-field behind THREE OF THE BEST. With good early speed she looks to have her chance.

OUR MAJOR DAY (10) is racing well and last start was looking to take them all the way in an Aspirational when run down in the closing stages by CLINTAL DO. That followed a stylish all the way win in a Gold Pot final. The gate hurts but he is in great touch and can work into this.

RACE EIGHT

FRANKIE ROCKS (5) will take great benefit from his last win here when resuming from a spell. That followed a 1 win prep last time in and at his latest win showed that he may have matured in the break and was too powerful sprinting home. Richly talented at his peak, he can stay out of the early fireworks and take the closing shot.

BETTORTHANSPECIAL (7) resumes following an aborted Sydney Ladyship Mile trip. Taken to the rear in the FFA last time out, she was luckless and caught the eye when looking for gaps and only beaten 4m. The gate hurts but she will be right in this.

RACE NINE

SPARKLING CULLECT (8) has not been having the best of luck in recent starts with his latest run a desperately unlucky effort in a mid-week FFA. Carted back a tiring runner he then had nowhere to go when he did see space with a wall of horses in front. If he gets the luck he will be hard to stop.

COLD IDEAL (4) has been doing a good job in recent starts without getting any reward for his efforts. On Sat he was taken back from gate 6 and was closing strongly behind COVERT BEAUTY. 3 starts back he hit the line strongly behind BULL MARKET and gets every chance in this race.
