RQ confirms that as a consequence of the recent inclement weather & the impact that has had on the racing surface at Lockyer RC (Gatton), it has been necessary to transfer the race meeting on Friday 9 March to an alternative venue.
Accordingly, the meeting will now be held at Warwick TC.
The movement has also necessitated changes to the distances of some of the races on the program. These comprise:
- Special Conditions Handicap, 16k – was 1400m, is now 1350m
- Benchmark 55 Handicap, $16k – was 1400m, is now 1350m
- Class 1 Handicap, $16k – was 1600m, is now 1500m
- Maiden Handicap, $15k – was 1400m, is now 1350m
All other previously published detail pertaining to the program remains unaltered & nominations for it will close at 11:00am, Monday 5 March.
