RACE TWO

VINTAGE DREAM (1) will strip fitter following her return from a break where she started from gate 4 over the sprint trip and snagged back early was wide off the track when trying to make a charge. She had run in to some very progressive types last campaign and from the gate has the option to take this.

RUHTREBO (9) finished best to claim victory here 2 starts back when digging in to claim a head victory. Making a charge at the 550m last start he loomed quickly but it was a short-lived sprint and he was only plugging away up the stretch. Despite the 2nd line he can be sharper here.

PURPLE SHADES (7) has been in the money at 5 of his past 6 starts including 2 victories. A Tamworth winner last start after settling in the trail, he will be probing for gaps in the closing stages.

VELOCE BELLA (3) has placed at her past 4 in succession and last start was working hard in the breeze when fighting hard to hold the bronze. From the gate she will be in the fight again.

SELECTIONS: VINTAGE DREAM (1), RUHTREBO (9), PURPLE SHADES (7), VELOCE BELLA (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

TAKITIMU EXPRESS (10) returns from a freshen after his last appearance when fading off in the closing stages behind GOLDEN YEAR. The start prior he claimed victory up the passing lane in good style in a race that the form has held strong out of. He faces the tough gate but can overcome it.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (2) is in search of the hat-trick after a pair of victories at Marburg when leading throughout and then here when finishing strongly. Starting from inside the 2nd line here last start she tracked home strongly to score and from the front can look to dictate terms here.

FEEL THE REIGN (7) will need a slice of luck in his favour here but with the right run can be chiming in. Finishing 1m from the winner last start after doing some early work he will be probing here.

BUKTHSYSTEM (1) has good early speed and can look to settle in a prominent position. Not suited from wide gates at his past 2, he can be sharper from the inside line here.

SELECTIONS: TAKITIMU EXPRESS (10), FLASHING GOOD TIME (2), FEEL THE REIGN (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TAKITIMU EXPRESS (10) to win

RACE FOUR

NIKALONG HENRY (8)
had been meeting much stronger types from bad gates until his latest start when everything looked to be in order when taking on an easier field from gate 1. Until he missed the start and was never in the race. Trialling well to earn the return, this looks his to take.

INCITER (5) started from inside the 2nd line last start at Marburg and avoiding a pocket was away from the pegs and sent forward wide off the track. Digging in for the fight he was 3m from the winner. Rolling forward he can get in the contest and throw down the challenge.

ENARMOURED (6) has no favours from this alley but has been good since arriving in Qld. A winner 3 starts back from the front, her latest effort was a tidy performance when wide out and she can chime in here.

BERTILS DELIGHT (1) has good early speed and from the gate will get the options is wanting to release. Not far away in recent outings including a half-neck 2nd here 4 starts back she lands the gate to place.

SELECTIONS: NIKALONG HENRY (8), INCITER (5), ENARMOURED (6), BERTILS DELIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NIKALONG HENRY (8) to win

RACE FIVE

DONNY JONES (3) has mixed his form of late but he looks to strike conditions to suit here. Grabbed in the last few strides at Marburg 4 starts back, he was then beaten in red figures from gate 1 here. He has struck bad gates his past 2 outings but looks to get his chance and end a long winless stretch.

RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (5) was locked away from inside the 2nd line last start in a 2nd division qualifier and used the passing lane to get within a half-neck of the winner. He doesn’t have any favours from this gate but strikes the right type of race to make his presence felt.

MONTEREY JACK (10) found the pegs 1st from gate 3 here last start and was fighting hard down the stretch when grabbed on the line and beaten a head. This is tougher from this gate but he can place.

HANDSOME MAJOR (1) should take benefit following 2 runs back from a break and lands the options from this gate. Both return runs have been at Tamworth and from gate 1 he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DONNY JONES (3), RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (5), MONTEREY JACK (10), HANDSOME MAJOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DONNY JONES (3) to win

RACE SIX

IFYOUBELIEVE (3)
finished strongly off the 2nd line to claim a Marburg victory 4 starts back and followed that with a strong in from the front when leading throughout in a Gold Pot heat. This will be easier than his past 2 starts including last time when flattened and he can look to capitalise.

RAINBOW ATOMIC (1) made the most of gate 1 at his Qld debut here 2 starts back and holding the front took them all the way over the 2040m trip. Chasing gamely last start from the 2nd line when angled to the pegs for short-cuts, he can get the right run here and look to challenge.

MY MAGIC MERLIN (2) broke through for victory here 2 starts back after 5 successive placings after securing the pocket trail. Back to the placings last start after working in the breeze, he can add another minor here.

HALF MOON BEACH (8) broke his maiden status here last start when making the most of gate 1 to take them all the way. With the winning confidence he can look to be chiming in late here.

SELECTIONS: IFYOUBELIEVE (3), RAINBOW ATOMIC (1), MY MAGIC MERLIN (2), HALF MOON BEACH (8)
SUGGESTED BET: IFYOUBELIEVE (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

THE MUSE (2) makes her Redcliffe debut here after finishing runner-up at her past 2 starts in Sat night mares company. Rolling forward to the breeze from gate 5 at her latest start over the mile, she was in for the fight and went within a neck of victory. From the good alley she looks to get her chance.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (1) was a winner here 3 starts back from this same gate and trip when opting for cover and then finishing best along the passing lane to score. Beaten from wide gates and striking trouble at each of his past 2 starts at Tamworth, he will get the perfect trip here to strike late.

DRIVE THE DREAM (5) had the speed to hold the front from gate 1 here 3 starts back and once in control held on to score a 3m victory. Luckless last start from a wide gate she can place here.

CORPORAL LUNA (7) chased gamely last start from behind the leader to hold 3rd over the 2040m trip. He is set to get another cosy run against the markers here and can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: THE MUSE (2), HOT ROD HEAVEN (1), DRIVE THE DREAM (5), CORPORAL LUNA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE MUSE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

MOLLY MONTANA (2)
held the pocket trail from gate 1 here 3 starts back and with the cosy trip was able to follow home to grab the bronze behind TAXI METER. Her latest run at Marburg when drawn wide was a nice effort when chasing behind NEWMERELLA MOLLY and from the gate can open her account.

ALL MADNESS (8) worked to the front last start at Marburg but it came at a cost in pressing ahead from gate 4 to get to the pegs. Fading late he held on for the bronze behind NIGHT NINJA. He did his share of early work here the start prior and with even luck in transit can feature in this line-up.

IMMYS IDOL (1) will have the benefit of the inside gate here and from that position lands her chance to place. 3rd from the pocket trail last start over this trip, he will get the perfect trip again.

STUDLEIGH WILL (5) was locked away from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and then last start appreciated the soft run at Marburg in the trail. The gate hurts but he can be working home.

SELECTIONS: MOLLY MONTANA (2), ALL MADNESS (8), IMMYS IDOL (1), STUDLEIGH WILL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MOLLY MONTANA (2) to win

RACE NINE

MONTANA DAZZLER (5)
is the first foal of the former top race filly Courageous Annie. Given plenty of time he makes his debut here as a 4YO off the back of a tidy trial here at Redcliffe where he did everything right. He lands a tough gate to kick-it off but this looks a winnable contest.

NIGHT NINJA (10) started fav last time out at Marburg from the 2nd line and was sent forward in the early stages to find the breeze. Controlling the race form that position he was too slick and cruised home to a 12m victory. He has no favours from the gate but looks to get his chance to challenge.

ALL GOOD WALLY (9) started fav last start when sent to the breeze from gate 4 and worked in the run. Fading late he held on for the bronze and with the added fitness and experience he can place.

LIVING FREE (7) will need a slice of luck to go his way from this gate as he looks set to be buried in the run. Strong from the breeze at Marburg last start, he has the experience to call on over his rivals.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA DAZZLER (5), NIGHT NINJA (10), ALL GOOD WALLY (9), LIVING FREE (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
