RACE TWO

FEEL THE REIGN (10) was warming up to a victory and after 3 successive placings including a tough run when working wide in the early stages and diving late to grab 2nd over the sprint trip 2 starts back. Last start he charged home to arrive for the prize and with some solid tempo can swoop here.

SMILING ARMADA (3) claimed an Aspirational at AP on Sat night when sent to the front from gate 4 and after a 27.4 opener kept the speed on all the way, keeping them chasing to claim a 1m victory in a career best win rate. His previous 2 starts were from the 2nd line and he can look to repeat.

GETOUTNWALK (2) worked across from gate 6 last start over the 1780m before finding cover and found the line in good order to hold on for 3rd.  A winner here 4 starts back she is in the mix again.

BONNIE JUJON (8) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts at the 2040m and then the sprint trip. Fighting hard in the breeze last start behind BIG BEAT, she can follow through early and has claims.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE REIGN (10), SMILING ARMADA (3), GETOUTNWALK (2), BONNIE JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Play wide for the opening leg of the quaddie

RACE THREE

JACKS GAMBIT (3) faced a torrid trip over the sprint distance at AP last start nd after starting from gate 6 was never closer than 3 wide the trip. Under the circumstances it was a big run when he fought all the way to the line and was only 10m from the winner ARK PATROL. He can look to dictate.

MY MAGIC MERLIN (10) ended a long run of outs to claim victory here 3 starts back after dropping in behind the leader for the easy trip and then finished best. Last start he was able to grind out a victory from the breeze over the sprint trip. The gate hurts but he can be in the finish once again.

MINI MIRACLE (9) was 2nd up from a break last start when looking to take them all the way from gate 1. Setting even sections she was nabbed right on the line. With the right trail she can place.
FAMOUS SHOES (4) started frim gate 5 here 3 starts back and was tracking home in good order to get within 5m of the winner to claim the silver. He looks better suited than his past 2 and can place,

SELECTIONS: JACKS GAMBIT (3), MY MAGIC MERLIN (10), MINI MIRACLE (9), FAMOUS SHOES (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JACKS GAMBIT (3) to win

RACE FOUR

KEARNEY LANE (3)
couldn’t find position last start and was forced to snag all the way back to find the pegs over the AP mile and was then in no position to challenge. She found the line in good order the start prior when 5m from REGAL NIGHTSHADE. Stoked up early she can get forward and gets her chance.

DYNAMIC DEEJAY (10) was a winner here 2 starts back when stepping out in Qld for the first time after finding the pegs from gate 4 and scoring a big win. Finding the pegs from gate 6 last start he burnt the candle and faded off. He has the tough gate but a run like 2 back will see him right in this.

RITCHIE BEE (6) settled in the 1x1 last start from gate 2 and was sound to the line when 6m from the winner JUST ROKIN. Too far back here 2 starts back, he hasn’t been far away and has podium claims.

BERTILS DELIGHT (2) was looking to take them all the way last start from gate 1 and after setting a steady tempo was grabbed late to finish 1.5m from the winner. Settling handy she is an exotic play.

SELECTIONS: KEARNEY LANE (3), DYNAMIC DEEJAY (10), RITCHIE BEE (6), BERTILS DELIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (9) started from gate 2 last start and finding the pegs early was looking to take them all the way. After a pedestrian opening 800m over the 2040m he was grabbed in the closing stages. Only 3.5m from the winner at Tamworth 3 starts back, he can work over the top here.

LA PISTOLA (8) resumes from a spell without the benefit of a public trial. A late season 2YO he started in rede figures on debut when forced to work in the breeze he was able to hold on for the bronze. Showing ability that saw him start fav at his 1st 3 race starts, he stays under notice here.

CANDYFLOSS (4) has been in the money at 4 of her 8 career starts and resumes from a break here. A winner 3 starts back to break her maiden, she hasn’t been to the trials and will take benefit from this.

GIVE ME A GO (5) rolled forward from gate 4 last start and was working hard in the run when finishing 4m from the winner ACE MONTANA. Luckless from a wide gate the start prior he has claims.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (9), LA PISTOLA (8), CANDYFLOSS (4), GIVE ME A GO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (9) to win

RACE SIX

UNASSUMNG CHAMP (9)
lands the tricky gate but looks to get into this race well and has been meeting stronger opponents than he will take on here. Buried away here 2 starts back he found the line well when behind SHERIFF JUJON and 3 back was strong late behind JAX NAVARO. He looks to get his chance in this grade.

WAVEDANCER (5) took on stronger opponents last time and from the 2nd line worked home in good order when 9m from SONNY ORLANDO. 2 starts back he worked hard in the run and was in for the fight when 3m off the winner and given time to roll forward can throw down a challenge here.

BUKTHSYSTEM (7) will need some luck from this gate but if able to see space in time can look to grab the run. Only 5m off the winner last start he will be probing for the openings.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (4) wasn’t suited last start after a slow opening 800m when she was locked away on the pegs. Snagged back from gate 6 here 3 starts back she can look to settle handy from the gate.

SELECTIONS: UNASSUMING CHAMP (9), WAVEDANCER (5), BUKTHSYSTEM (7), THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: UNASSUMING CHAMP (9)to win

RACE SEVEN

GOOD BOY OLIVER (2) has featured in a stable change and will line up here for Errol Cain. He stepped out at the trials for Cain where he looked sharp in strong time in good preparation for this. Not far away at his past 2 starts, he has the speed to look for the pegs and can cash-in 1st up.

TELL THE FUTURE (1) lands her best gate in recent starts and should secure a perfect run in transit. Snagged back to find position at her past 3 starts in succession she was only beaten a lip here 5 starts back when facing the breeze from gate 4. The improved alley puts her right in the fight.

ROLLING ALONG (5) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start and was left a bit flat-footed when the pace went on. 3 starts back from gate 1 he held on for the silver and has claims here.

SPLASH OF GOLD (4) looked to take them all the way over the 2040m trip here 2 starts back and after a steady opening 800m was grabbed late when 3m off the winner. She won’t be far away here.

SELECTIONS: GOOD BOY OLIVER (2), TELL THE FUTURE (1), ROLLING ALONG (5), SPLASH OF GOLD (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GOOD BOY OLIVER (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (2)
has shown good improvement since returning and been able to place at his past 2 starts. He found the pegs from gate 3 last start and looked to take them all the way which followed a head 2nd. He has good early SPEED and can look for the pegs and be gripping on.

MONTANA DAZZLER (1) rolled across to face the breeze off gate 4 last start when making his race debut. Starting fav he faded in the closing stages after the tough trip to be 9m from the winner. With the experience from the run and the improved gate he comes into calculations.

IMMYS IDOL (4) has placed at her past 2 starts when landing the pocket trail on each occasion. From gate 1 last start she was best of the chasers when 2nd to MOLLY MONTANA and can be thereabouts.

LIVING FREE (8) worked hard in the breeze after being sent forward from a wide gate at Marburg 2 starts back when holding on for the bronze. He can follow through early here and has place claims.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (2), MONTANA DAZZLER (1), IMMYS IDOL (4), LIVING FREE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO / MONTANA DAZZLER (1/2) quinella

RACE NINE

HIGH CLOUD LASS (2)
was too far back when trying to make a run over the AP 2138m last start and couldn’t work into it. In a similar race to this 2 starts back she was working hard in the breeze and only faded in the closing stages. Despite being winless for over 18 months, this looks a good chance to turn her fortunes around.

MY PRECIOUS YANKEE (1) was 1st up since a stable change last start and slowly into stride was buried away on the pegs. That was good improvement on what he had been returning and with further improvement and the front tape here can see him find the podium.

GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (4) was smartly away from the 10m tape last start and finding the front was able to control the speed to take them all the way. He goes back a further 10m but cant be dismissed.

JETER (7) has the big handicap to overcome but does drop in grade to what he has been meeting. He hit the line strongly from a 50m tape to grab the bronze 2 starts back and can feature here.

SELECTIONS: HIGH CLOUD LASS (2), MY PRECIOUS YANKEE (1), GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (4), JETER (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
