RACE TWO

JINGLES BROMAC (7) has been a source of great frustration in recent times but it was all serenity now for connections here on Friday when he finally put it together. Pressing forward from this same gate, he was able to out muscle his opponents and score a smart win when racing first over. This is no harder and with some winning confidence can rinse and repeat.

CYCLONE KELLY (5) was sent to the post as fav here last time out from inside the 2nd line when holding on to 4th behind SIR SEMPER FIDELIS. Taking them all the way the start prior over the Redcliffe sprint trip, he can be settling near the action to make his challenge.

SHEZ GOT BLING (2) has faced the 2nd line at her past 3 in succession and should appreciate a return to the front line here. Working home strongly last start when only a neck away, she can be making a play here.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (6) set the tempo here on Friday but could not repel the closing challenge when falling a head shy of the winner JINGLES BROMAC. The wider gate hurts, but he can be in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: JINGLES BROMAC (7), CYCLONE KELLY (5), SHEZ GOT BLING (2), THE RAGNBONE MAN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JINGLES BROMAC (7) to win

RACE THREE

DYNAMIC DAN (2)
will take good benefit from his return run when 1st up from a spell. Settling midfield from the 2nd line, he was hitting the line soundly behind TARGARYEN. His last outing last season was when runner-up to BIG WHEELS in the Triad Final and tucking in behind what looks some good tempo can see him arrive.

GLITTER STRIP (1) returns from a spell and was last seen when down the line back in November. From this gate 2 runs back he looked to dictate the tempo in front but could not see it out when trailing them in. With the option of the cosy trip in behind the speed 1st up, he can chime in.

OUR FRIEND (3) returns to the main draw after facing the ODM tag for his last start. Taken back early from gate 7 at his latest outing, he was strong to the line behind GOTTA MOMENT. The early burn will be key to his chances.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (5) set the speed from gate 2 last start when starting in red figures and led deep into the stretch before being grabbed. From the gate he can fire out and will be right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: DYNAMIC DAN (2), GLITTER STRIP (1), OUR FRIEND (3), LITTLELIONELJAMES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DYNAMIC DAN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SOHO TSUNAMI (1) eased from gate 5 over this trip last start before making a sweeping move around the field. Looming up to the leader, he looked to have plenty to offer before his race ended when locking wheels and all his momentum stopped dead. 5m in arrears of KENSINGTON BILL the start prior, he looks to get every chance here.

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (8) will have the early options here as the lone 2nd line runner to work off the pegs if needed. Too strong out in front in a mares qualifier here 2 starts back, she had no answer for her stablemate SAUCY DREAMS last start. With the right trip she can make a closing challenge.

MILLWOOD TILLY (6) rolled forward from this gate last start and content to work hard in the run was within 4m of the winner ICE PICK ANGIE. Only beaten a half-head the start prior, she is in the mix.

ARTFUL MAID (4) started from the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start and finishing strongly was able to score a smart win at the 2040m trip. The gate is a little sticky here, but she can join in late.

SELECTIONS: SOHO TSUNAMI (1), A RAINBOW DELIGHT (8), MILLWOOD TILLY (6), ARTFUL MAID (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SOHO TSUNAMI (1) to win

RACE FIVE

SWEET APPEAL (1)
has faced the starter twice since returning for her 3YO term here in Qld. Lining up for just her 5th race start, she is giving away plenty of experience to her rivals here but will take great benefit from her 2 runs back. Within 5m of KOTARE ELITE 1st up, she was not suited when forced to work hard in the run last start. From the gate she has the options to strike.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (4) rolled forward from gate 6 last start and racing first over had too many arrows in the quiver to score a smart 9m victory at the mile. His run the start prior from the 2nd line was a sound effort when midfield to MAGGIE and with the improved alley can make a strong play.

LANCELOT BROMAC (10) keeps on keeping on and last start was again working home smartly to grab the silver behind DELIGHTFUL REASON. Runner-up the week prior to SCOTCH EN ICE, he will not be far away.

COBBLER LANE (2) showed the benefit of 2 runs back from a spell when closing out in nice order last time out to grab the bronze. Fitter again and with the improved gate, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SWEET APPEAL (1), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (4), LANCELOT BROMAC (10), COBBLER LANE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET APPEAL (1) to win

RACE SIX

MAGGIE (5)
has found some nice form and added another victory to the tally here on Friday. Away from the inside early as the lone 2nd line runner, she was soon sent around to face the breeze. IN a gritty effort, she had too much firepower to score. Beaten the barest possible the start prior, this looks well within reach.

BLUE SHARD (1) was pinned down from inside the 2nd line last time out and never really made an impact when midfield. Asked to do it the tough way the start prior, he was in for the fight when only fading in the closing strides as SCOTCH EN ICE landed the prize. From this alley, he can throw down a challenge.

BONDI SHAKE (6) rolled forward from the five-hole last start and doing some early work before receiving cover. Best of the chasers when 10m from TARGARYEN, he can feature in this.

BETTERTHANLEGO (7) has no favours from this alley, but her form since resuming from a spell has been strong. Settling in the running line from gate 2 last start, she finished over the top of them and can join in again here.

SELECTIONS: MAGGIE (5), BLUE SHARD (1), BONDI SHAKE (6), BETTERTHANLEGO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAGGIE (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

ARTHUR LOWE (1)
was a big beneficiary when the barriers were generated, landing the ace after facing a string of tough gates in recent outings. Sound here on Sat night after retreating from gate 6 to look for short-cuts, he was brave the start prior after working hard in the run when 5m from CLARRY. With the options from the gate, he can strike.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (5) attacked the line strongly 2 starts back over the mile when grabbing the silver behind subsequent winner PARAVANI. On Saturday night he made the most of holding the pocket trail and was able to find the space to work into the clear when the leader was under pressure off the back turn. Finishing best for a smart win, the gate stings, but he can charge.

GODDESS JUJON (8) faced a wide 2nd line gate at Redcliffe last start and was too far back as the tempo was set for those at the pointy end. Working home soundly the start prior, the cosy trip in behind the speed here should suit.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (2) will take good benefit from his latest appearance when resuming from a spell. Looking to take them all the way over the Redcliffe 1780m, he was beaten a pimple. From the gate he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ARTHUR LOWE (1), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (5), GODDESS JUJON (8), MARK OF INTEGRITY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

HELLO ITS ME (1)
returned from a spell when tackling the mile and finishing soundly to grab the bronze behind BOOMCHUCKALUCKA. Pressing forward from gate 5 last start at this distance, she was content to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way when packing too many guns in scoring a gritty victory. With the cosy trip available, she will be ready to take the closing shot.

TARGARYEN (2) faces a test here as he steps out over the AP 2138m for the 1st time with a solitary won over the middle distance when prepared in NZ. Too strong last start despite landing gate 7, he was able to roll forward and put them away in smart fashion over the mile. With a slick win over the sprint trip 3 runs back, he looks set to be in front for a long way, the distance just the nagging query.

MORESCO (4) settled in the running line from gate 11 last start and was best of the chasers in trying to take ground of ILLAWONG DREAMTIME who kicked clear in the stretch. With a tidy record at the trip, she can chime in.

ROCKSLIDE (12) landed gate 7 last start and with BOOMCHUCKALUCKA dealing in front, was always facing a task to make his presence felt. Gunned down late the start prior by KENSINGTON BILL, the gate is a real dampener.

SELECTIONS: HELLO ITS ME (1), TARGARYEN (2), MORESCO (4), ROCKSLIDE (12)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-12

RACE NINE

LETTUCE FIRESTAR (3)
will take added benefit from his latest offering when 3rd up since returning from a long break. Doing his share of early work last start over the 2138m trip, he could not go on with it in the closing stages. His run behind AT WEST POINT 2 runs back was a tidy effort and back to the mile where the lead looks his should be ideal.

SAM IS PERFECTION (10) has another 2nd line gate to overcome as he has been a regular fixture on the back line in recent outings. Working home wide off the track last start, he was closing strongly but could not reel in CASINO TOMMY. Only a half-neck away here 3 starts back, he can challenge again.

CASINO TOMMY (9) rolled forward to face the breeze last start from gate 6 and despite doing the work, was able to put them to the sword and burst clear for the prize. Despite the gate he is in the mix.

JOHNNY WHITE (4) took the trail from gate 1 last start and using the passing lane held on for 3rd behind the subsequent winner CLARRY. Buried away 2 runs back, he can feature in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: LETTUCEFIRESTAR (3), SAM IS PERFECTION (10), CASINO TOMMY (9), JOHNNY WHITE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LETTUCEFIRESTAR (3) to win
