Trainer - Mick Price

"I was very surprised how well he performed in this race, Doomben is very tight but the way he flew off the track I wondered what was going on here."

"The horse was fit and ready and Oliver on the back always helps, what a way to kick off a career for the horse and the Roll the Dice."

"There are over fifty owners in the horse with the majority living in and around the Gold Coast, it'll be a very popular victory."

Jockey - Damien Oliver

"It's not easy to win at this track with a Melbourne horse it's a tricky track to go around right handed rather than left."

"He did plenty wrong ths horse he wanted to get off at the turn but once he balanced up he knuckled down and did it strong."

"If he'd have got it right it would have been a much bigger margin of victory, Mick and Michael have a good one going forwrd."

“It was a pretty easy watch, Luke controlled the race from where he was and rolled in and put the pressure on at the right time.”

“She just didn’t get the nicest run in The Wave last week, I’d always planned to bring her up for these two races and glad to get one of them.”

“She takes a while to hit form so she may have another run, but the main goal is Winter Carnival in Brisbane.”

Jockey – Luke Currie

“It got a little bit messy last start where we had a wall in front of us and got help up.”

“Today was a different story got to a good spot came to the middle of the track and put them away.”

“She paraded really well and was nice and kind behind the gates she meant business today.”

“The track has a bit more give it in than last week and is a touch worn but it’s such a good track, I’ll be happy at this stage to be just off the rail.”

"All credit to the horse he's incrdibly clean winded and tends to go well on the fresh side, so the step up in distance wasn't a real worry."

"Eleven out of ten ride from Bossy if you watch the replay you can just see him thinking the whole way it made a big difference."

"It's been a good week, I bought a couple including another Seabring like this guy."

Jockey - Glen Boss

"He had a lovely run it chopped and changed a little in the middle but we were always in a strong position he was in a great rhythm breathing beautifully very relaxed."

"At the half mile once I got out off the fence I knew the race was his."

"The Candy Man is a hell of a horse but I knew he had 61 where we had 54 so we got going early and he was way too good."

"James didn't take any risks he just angled his way out and it took the length of the straight but she got there."

"You love a good two-year-old but it's horses like this that are the backbone of your stable, for her to win this race three years in a row amazing."

"Hughy was just cool and calm the leader had a good kick, but he timed his run to perfection and she knows how to win here at the Gold Coast."

Jockey - Hugh Bowman

"I'm just so proud of the mare to come straight up from Sydney to win this race for the third time is a phenomenal result."

"The Waller stable take such good care of there horses that's why you see a mare like this winning a $600,000 race at six years old."

"I tried to keep her tucked away as long as possible with the weight and got out in time to get the last crack at them."

Ciaron Maher

“It’s a really good effort Hannah Matheson who worked for us last year and picked this horse out, she’s come over from America and made this horse her own it’s phenomenal.”

“To win the Magic Millions is hard to describe, we were happy when she was a stakes winner it’s tremendous and was on the back of a great ride by Luke Currie.”

“Christine who works for us is our travelling foreman who has basically lived with this horse to ice him and wait on his every need, it makes me so proud the team we’ve built who’ve pulled this off.”

“I don’t know what it is I’ve had some big wins in this career, but I’ve never been quite this emotional.”

“We’ve put a lot of time and effort into our two-year-old’s this year and to culminate with a Magic Millions win is unbelievable.

David Eustace

“It’s quite an amazing feeling I can’t thank the boss (Ciaron Maher) enough for the opportunity it’s a great result for me personally and the whole team.”

“He (Ciaron Maher) allows you to grow in whatever role you’re in and he’s trusted me and given me a lot of responsibility and I’m a better horseman for it and better trainer, you won’t get a better boss.”

Jockey – Luke Currie

“I was a bit worried where we would get to on the turn but ended up in the three wide line with cover with cover lane and she hasn’t had that in her first two starts and it has worked a treat.”

“She was breathing beautifully through the run and that turn of foot was electric.”

“I thought she should have been less than ten to one to win this race the bookies didn’t see it that way and Ciaron and Dave have done a fantastic job in getting her to come on from that run.”

“I think Tony McEvoy showed the way a few years ago when he brought Shining Light up early and this horse has definitely benefited from being here in Queensland.”

3rd – Sambro – Chris Waller – James McDonald

8.jpeg

Trainer – Tony Gollan

“He’s turning into a really good horse, we didn’t quite get the run we wanted to get but that’s why it’s good to have the experience of Michael on who didn’t panic sat there kept him balanced and put them away quickly on straightening.”

“He goes away now and he’s ballot free for the Stradbroke a race I’ve never won and if I’ve ever had a good enough horse to do it it’s this guy.”

“There’s no pressure for him to make the race we can map out a really nice program for him and give him a shot at a Group One.”

“I really do feel he can make a presence in the winter he loves Eagle Farm can handle any ground he’s going to be a real force.”

Jockey – Michael Rodd

“I’ve always had a good relationship with Tony and to come back and trust me on this horse means a lot and I’m glad I delivered.”

“He’s still learning and he’s still got his quirks this horse he’s blessed with a lot of talent he just needs to simmer down a bit between the 800 to the 600 he was a bit keen, I had to bring him back and settle him.”

“I’d love to come back and ride him a bit quieter for the Stradbroke, we were a little off them today but I think the colder you ride him the harder he’ll hit the line.”

“I would have loved to have been one off in the run but the middle of the track is where we wanted to be.”

Trainer - Tony Gollan

"All of us in the stables have a soft spot for this mare, it's her third go here at the Magic Millions where she ran third as a two-year-old and third again as a three-year-old last year it was well deserved."

"It's amzing she hasn't won more races I think this is only her fourth after winning a stakes race first start but we've never hidden her from good company and it's paying dividends now."

"The owners of this horse paid $700,000 for a yearling during the week so this is a great result for them."

"We've picked up fourteen so far this week with hopefully a few more to come home and fill the boxes tonight."

"It's been a magical start to 2020 with a my son born last week, winning The Wave and now this."

Jockey - James McDonald

"We were burried away in the field there but I knew if I could get off heels she'd have last shot at them and out wide was where she needed to be."

"She took a bit to pick up but once I got her interest she finished like a mare that's won a lot more than four races.'
