RACE TWO

After tackling the Christmas Cup last start and facing a torrid trip, the drop back to Friday company looks to suit the chances of KINGOFTHESTARS (8). His run was full of merit 2 starts back when working hard over the mile and not that far from the winner ESCALERA. With 2nd line options in the early stages, he can reign supreme.

MISTER DONALD (3) was content to face the breeze without really applying any pressure when making his Qld debut in a Band 5 event 2 runs back. Looming up over the closing stages, he worried the leader out of it to claim the prize. 3rd to the flying CHEVRONS REWARD last start, he can throw it down here.

COMMODORE JUJON (1) was defeated by gate 7 last start when retreating to find position and then facing too big a task to eat into the deficit. Game from the breeze here 2 starts back, he has the options to feature.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (7) has been returning some super sectional splits in his races without threatening to win. Charging home last start after retreating from this same gate, he looks to face a similar fate here.

SELECTIONS: KINGOFTHESTARS (8), MISTER DONALD (3), COMMODORE JUJON (1), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KINGOFTHESTARS (8) to win

RACE THREE

KENSINGTON BILL (2)
has faced the starter on 3 occasions in Qld and looks to have found suitable conditions here to land a breakthrough victory. Holding on for the bronze last start behind RANGER BOMB, he attacked the line strongly the start prior after retreating from gate 6. With the good alley he gets every chance.

CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (9) was wide off the track from a 2nd line gate at Marburg last start and attacking the line in the closing stages to grab the silver. Chasing the smart OAXACAN DREAM at each of his previous 2 starts, he can look to press through for position to feature here.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (6) eased from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start but never really worked into the contest. Chasing in his previous 2 outings, he has the wide gate and will be needing to chase again here.

PROSECUTION WITNESS (8) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line over the 2138m last start when taking on a qualifier. Only 5m in arrears, he will be locked away and probing for gaps in this.

SELECTIONS: KENSINGTON BILL (2), CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (9), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (6), PROSECUTION WITNESS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: KENSINGTON BILL (2) to win

RACE FOUR

THE FORTUNATE SON (2) started from the 2nd line last time out and was trying to chase when mid-field to ROLL WITH ROCKY. Gunned down when setting the tempo in a qualifier 2 starts back, he had the speed on as PACIFIC DRUMS made the last shot a winner. Back to the front over the mile, he will have them chasing.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (1) was a Redcliffe winner 3 runs back when finishing over the top of them after landing gate 6. Cruising on by to claim a 9m victory, his next run can be rubbed out after striking trouble in the run. Hitting the line nicely last start, he will get the cosy trip to offer here.

FRANCO HAMPTON (5) started from gate 1 at a short quote last start over the mile and after leading them up wilted in the stretch. That had followed 3 successive wins so he will get the chance to atone here.

ITS SUPER EASY (3) settled in the 1x1 trail over the 2138m trip last start and had arrows in the quiver to hit the target for a 1m victory. Settling handy to the action here can see him make a closing play.

SELECTIONS: THE FORTUNATE SON (2), HOT ROD HEAVEN (1), FRANCO HAMPTON (5), ITS SUPER EASY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: THE FORTUNATE SON (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Where to look in this race? It is made no easier by the fact the 2138m will also be sorting a few of these out. By virtue of successive wins as he shoots for a threepeat MY ULTIMATE HELL (11) lands top billing. Blitzing them by a huge margin over the 2200m at Redcliffe last start, with even luck in transit he can look to cash-in.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (10) has worked his way into some form and lines up with 2 wins from his past 3 outings. Too strong for them when facing the breeze and then pulling clear over the Redcliffe 1780m trip last start, if he can get a cart into the contest to limit his own workload, he will have the power to challenge.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (3) worked home in good order from the 2nd line at Redcliffe 2 starts back to grab the bronze. Striking some trouble in the run last start at Marburg, a return to the front line after his past 4 have been off the 2nd row is a big plus.

MISTER DECORUM (9) backs up from the grass at Kilcoy on Monday where he was runner-up to GOSLING IN FLIGHT. Yet to crack a win in 14 attempts here at The Creek, he can be thereabouts against this opposition.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HELL (11), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (10), TICK OF THE CLOCK (3), MISTER DECORUM (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

LIVING GRAND (1)
had a crack for the leading rights here 2 starts back when repelled and forced to do it the tough way thereafter. Grinding it out, he was game all the way and threw down one closing play to get within a head of victory. Tackling a strong qualifier last start, he can capitalise here.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (5) tried to take them all the way from gate 1 over the Redcliffe 2040m trip last start. After a steady opening half, he looked to dial it up but could not see it out when fading as BLUES TERROR went on to score. Closing strongly from gate 7 the start prior, he can make a play for this.

CROWN MOJO (8) angled to the pegs from a 2nd line gate last start over the AP 2138m trip and grabbed 3rd only to be demoted on protest. Closing hard for 3rd 2 starts back, he will be probing for the gaps here.

ARTISTIC SAINT (6) was sent to the breeze last start from gate 6 and was in for the fight when 9m in arrears of the winner LAST PLACE LUCY. The wide gate stings but he can be thereabouts in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: LIVING GRAND (1), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (5), CROWN MOJO (8), ARTISTIC SAINT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LIVING GRAND (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

ADRENALINE RUSH (9) steps up to the 2138m here after her only appearance here at The Creek was over the mile. In that event she sat in the running line before making a strong closing challenge to arrive for a tidy victory. Running a strong last 800m in front to score at Marburg last start, she can sweep home again here.

MAJOR LUCKY (4) was building towards a victory after 3 successive placings and franked that when landing the loot on the grass at Kilcoy on Monday. That followed a tough run when asked to roll the sleeves to race first over and grafting for the silver. He may need to work again but is up to the task.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (6) finished best to claim a Redcliffe victory 2 starts back over the 1780m trip. Runner-up to ADRENALINE RUSH here 3 starts back when only beaten a neck, she is in the mix.

SLINGSHOT (7) has no favours from the carpark but should find this a shade easier than his last appearance when tackling a qualifier. Less than 3m from the winner in that event, he can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: ADRENALINE RUSH (9), MAJOR LUCKY (4), TRUNKEY DIGGER (6), SLINGSHOT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ADRENALINE RUSH (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

KETTERING GIRL (5) eased from gate 4 at Marburg 2 starts back to find the pegs before working home soundly to grab the bronze behind HEADWIN. That was a heat to the Albion Final and in that event, she was mid-field to the impressive GOING FOR GOLD. Limiting the early burn, she can pinch this.

MAJOR TRALEE (4) returned from a long stint on the sidelines in impressive style when leading throughout to claim victory on the grass at Kilcoy. That had followed almost 2 years on the sidelines, and he should take plenty of benefit from the run to make another solid press for victory here.

ALL GOOD WALLY (6) capitalised from gate 1 last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip when leading them all the way in claiming a 6m victory. The small field size suits and he can be charging home.

OUR LILLIE MAY (3) is a 5YO mare by Mcardle on debut for Al Barnes. Having trialled soundly behind some vastly experienced campaigners, she stays under notice here 1st up.

SELECTIONS: KETTERING GIRL (5), MAJOR TRALEE (4), ALL GOOD WALLY (6), OUR LILLIE MAY (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

KYVALLEY TINMAN (8) struck trouble at Redcliffe 2 starts back but was able to chase gamely to grab the bronze. Not suited from the handicap over the mile at Kilcoy last start, he has been showing some steady improvement and with the even luck in transit can overturn a long winless streak in a wide-open trot.

HEDGE YOUR BET (6) worked home strongly on the grass at Warwick 4 starts back to arrive over the top of them. Placed at his next outings here at The Creek, he went back to the grass at Kilcoy last start where he struck trouble. In this line-up he can throw down a strong challenge.

ONE MUSCLE HILL (9) will be further tightened from his latest offering when 2nd up from a break. Doing some work in the run at Redcliffe, he could not go on with it in the closing stages. He is a place hope here.

CRAZY BEN (2) can do plenty wrong and last start was banished to the trials. Earning the return ticket, he will appreciate the front tape and can be an improver in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: KYVALLEY TINMAN (8), HEDGE YOUR BET (6), ONE MUSCLE HILL (9), CRAZY BEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KYVALLEY TINMAN (8) to win
