RACE TWO

REDRIVERDEBBA (2) showed the benefit of a front-line tape here on Friday and sent forward was able to take control of proceedings and from there was never in danger in claiming an effortless 5m victory. Working towards that win after some tidy efforts of late, she can press ahead once again and from the front will take some catching.

JEDDY R YA READY (6) was buried away back in the pack last start before making a closing charge to grab the silver when 4m from the winner WEE MAN TROUBLE. Chasing home behind TORFINO MIST the start prior from a 10m impost, he is never far from the action and this looks within his reach.

CASTLEREAGH (7) was 1st up from a spell without a preparatory trial when making an error here last time out. Given a trial to iron out the issue and add some fitness, it was a tidy effort and despite the 20m can feature here 2nd up.

MIRCALE RISING (5) has been kept fresh since his last appearance back on Nov 21 when he wilted badly in the run. A smart winner 3 starts back, he can be thereabouts from the 10m tape 1st up.

SELECTIONS: REDRIVERDEBBA (2), JEDDY R YA READY (6), CATLEREAGH (7), MIRCALE RISING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: REDRIVERDEBBA (2) to win

RACE THREE

SCOTCH EN ICE (6)
was 2nd up from a spell here on Friday when easing from this same gate to find position. Settling rearward, he was facing plenty of ground to chase down the leader and it proved out of reach when within 3m of the winner. Too sharp at Redcliffe when resuming, he has every opportunity to bounce back here.

KOTARE ELITE (2) tackled a mares qualifier last start when obliged to work hard in the run and the workload took its toll when fading in the latter stages in a strongly run mile. Fading behind GOING FOR GOLD the start prior, if she can muster the speed to get to the pegs, she will challenge hard.

BONDI SHAKE (9) has been in the quinella numbers at his past 4 in succession, including a dictating win here 2 starts back. Making a closing dive to be within a head last start, he can trail through to feature in this.

SIGNOR JUJON (4) resumes from a spell and will take good benefit from whatever he can accomplish here. Last start he found LARRY LINCOLN too sharp and with a tidy trial to prepare, can land a minor in this.

SELECTIONS: SCOTCH EN ICE (6), KOTARE ELITE (2), BONDI SHAKE (9), SIGNOR JUJON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SCOTCH EN ICE (6) to win

RACE FOUR

BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (3) made an impressive Qld debut when sent straight to the front from gate 1 in an all the way win. After a steady opening half, he dialled the heat up to keep them chasing in a 55.1 closing half to open his winning account. Not suited off the 2nd line at Marburg last start, the return to the front line and the big oval looks ideal.

TALENT TO SPARE (9) will take further benefit from her 2nd up run when she delivered a brutal performance out in front over the mile. Closing smartly wide off the track when 1st up from a break, she gave nothing a chance when breaking 55 on the way home last time out. She will be chasing here to make her challenge.

SIR JUJON (10) resumes from a spell and line up here after closing his last campaign with a top-2 at his past 3 in succession. With a nice trial to open the pipes in readiness for the return, he can be chiming in here.

BLUE SHARD (5) has been runner-up at his past 4 in succession, the latest when closing out in good order from the 2nd line behind COPPICE. Doing it the tough way when best of the rest behind the dominant win of TALENT TO SPARE the start prior, he is a place chance again.

SELECTIONS: BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (3), TALENT TO SPARE (9), SIR JUJON (10), BLUE SHARD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Last time FLAME LADY (1) landed this gate she caused a false start before leading throughout over this trip at the second take in scoring a strong victory. With a win and two minors in the 4 starts since that win- all from wide gates- she has the prefect chance to lead throughout again here.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (8) looks set to secure an economical trip here and limiting the burn in transit, will be primed to take a closing shot. Starting from this gate last start before being angled into the running line, he was beyond mid-field behind MORESCO. From the gate he can make a play.

MORESCO (4) showed the benefit of a smart trial performance when spearing off the arm to lead throughout over this trip when resuming last start. Fitter for that run, she will be in for the fight.

COULDNTELLYA (3) was wide from the 2nd line when looking for position last start before finishing down the line behind MORESCO. 5m away from the pocket trail the start prior, she can chime in late here.

SELECTIONS: FLAME LADY (1), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (8), MORESCO (4), COULDNTELLYA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8

RACE SIX

CLINTAL DO (6)
sat back in the pack from the 2nd line over the mile last start. Making a closing challenge, he was attacking the line with gusto when able to grab the bronze behind the leader and winner ROCKNROLL CLASSIC who set a 27.3 closing panel from the front. The wide gate stings but there looks the right tempo for him to overpower them.

KINGOFTHESTARS (5) eased from gate 7 last start to secure position and settled back in the pack over the mile. With the power on throughout, nothing really made much ground as AT WEST POINT controlled it in front. He can look to put some heat into the battle here and looms as a challenger.

CAPTAIN KIRK (4) makes his 1st appearance in Qld and will be 1st up since October without a public trial. Last seen when leading all the way over the 2130m at Gloucester Park, he stays under notice.

CLASSIE AMERICAN (1) fired out from gate 3 to take the lead here last week when returning from a break. The lamp lighting duties came at the expense of a sub 27 opening panel which proved too hefty. Fitter for the hit-out, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: CLINTAL DO (6), KINGOFTHESTARS (5), CAPTAIN KIRK (4), CLASSIE AMERICAN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CLINTAL DO (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

CHANTREY (1) found the space to angle in behind the leader here last week from gate 4. With the leader hoisting the white flag before the passing lane arrived, he lost momentum and went down by a neck as INTRANSIT arrived for the victory. With the gate to take control, he looks hard to run down.

FEEL THE REIGN (2) found the pocket trail from gate 4 last start and with the cosy trip behind the speed, had the bullets to fire when the passing lane presented. Scoring victory by a half-neck, it had followed a pair of placings. He can look to create the space for the trail again to make his challenge.

HOLY CAMP CLIVE (5) returns from a spell and features in a change of stables since his last campaign. Chasing late to grab the silver behind LENNY THE LEGEND last start, he is a podium chance fresh.

INTRANSIT (4) eased from gate 6 to find position last start and with an even tempo throughout, had the momentum to finish over the top of them in the closing stages. With a similar trip a similar result can eventuate.

SELECTIONS: CHANTREY (1), FEEL THE REIGN (2), HOLY CAMP CLIVE (5), INTRANSIT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CHANTREY (1) to win
