TORQUE IS MY GIRL (8) will need her share of luck from this gate as she looks to be buried in the run. Placed in 4 of her 5 career starts, she speared out to lead last start but couldn’t see it out. Her run 2 back when working hard outside CHERRYS THE BEST was good and she needs an opening.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (3) steps out for the first time for trainer Kylie Rasmussen and did everything right in a recent trial when chasing home race winners. A daughter of the former handy race-mare Delectable Dolly, she will appreciate stepping out in a fillys only race.

MISS MIA (5) sat in the pocket trail last start and worked home well to hold the silver behind the nice winner LIFES BLACK. Slowly starting to put it together she has podium claims in this.

BETTOR BECAUSE (9) did early work last start and chased home behind LIFES BLACK. That followed a trio of 2^nd placed runs and back to her own sex will be a big plus as she looks for a maiden breaking win.

RACE THREE

ACT OF VALOR (3) lands his best gate since arriving in Qld where his 3 runs have produced a win and a pair of placings. Sent forward to the breeze from gate 5 last start over the 2138m trip he got tired late and had to settle for the bronze. He can bully his way to the front to take this.

VICTREE MIKAYLA (1) is still looking to breakthrough for her fist win and gets the chance to cash-in here. Last start she looked to take them all the way over the mile when run down in the closing stages by TELL THE LINESMAN. With the gate speed to hold early she gets the options.

TELL THE LINESMAN (7) has the tough gate to overcome in search of a hat-trick of wins. Finding position from gate 6 last start he finished over the top to score a nice win. He will be charging late.

HERBS HERO (6) resumes from a break after last being sighted when a 3m 2^nd to ARK PATROL in the Triad Consolation. That followed a hat-trick of NSW victories and he will take benefit from this run.

RACE FOUR

LENNY THE LEGEND (4) ended up a long way back in the pack last start and was charging home when it was all over last start to grab the bronze behind SWEET AS. He run into the smart SLICE OF HEAVEN at his previous 2 starts and with this the easiest line-up he has met in recent times he can score.

GRINVIL (8) chased home in good order on Sat night behind LOCTON LUCK which followed a tidy effort when 6m from PSYCHEDELIC. She will need her share of luck from this alley as she looks set to be buried away in the run, but if spotting gaps with track to work with can be swooping home.

GREGS LEGACY (3) found the front before releasing here 2 starts back and chased home for the silver behind THE HARLEM HAMMER. He can find the pegs here and if able to pinch a panel will take plenty of catching.

MIGHT AND MAIN (1) will take benefit from her latest start when 1^st up from a freshen and since arriving in Qld. Too far back from a wide gate she will get the perfect trip and be ready to strike.

LILAC FLASH (2) started fav last start and after doing some early work found cover before peeling wide and really attacking the line strongly. Beaten in red figures at his previous 2 starts, the win was a stylish performance and from this gate can look to take a left turn to the pegs and dictate terms.

COME OUT AND PLAY (1) is having a fine first season of racing and has been in the money at 9 of his 14 career starts. He was attacking the line last start when claiming the bronze behind BLINGITTOTHEMAX and with the cosy trip here can run into the money.

MUSCLE MACH (11) has been kept fresh since his last start when charging home in nice sections to grab PATERNITY SUIT on the line for a tidy 2138m win. A beaten fav when disappointing 1^st up in Qld the start prior, look for him making a late play.

BLINGITTOTHEMAX (7) has the wide gate to overcome but will be fitter from his 1^st up win when charging home in good style to score. He can fill the exotics from the tough draw.

RACE SIX

BETTOR BE LUCKY (4) pressed ahead from this gate over the mile last start and worked in the breeze in a fighting 4^th when 8m from the winner. That followed a tidy win over the 2138m when sprinting hard the last 500m. He can press ahead here and of able to limit the early burn can take hold of this.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (2) was a winner of a 2^nd division qualifier 3 starts back when using the passing lane to sprint home to victory. Not suited from wider gates when trying to chase home his past 2, he can look for the pegs here and the will have the options if needed.

MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (5) shoots for a quasi-hattrick after sharing the spoils last start with LUVUMUM after using the passing lane to share the honours. Finding position he will be swooping late.

EL MAJOR (8) makes his Qld debut for Mark Dux and steps out for the first time in over 15 months. Warmed up with just the 1 trial when he held his ground behind BETTORTHANSPECIAL, he will get a cosy trip that suits in return.

RACE SEVEN

LUCIFERS LEGEND (2) will strip fitter from his latest start when resuming off a freshen and working home in good style from the 2^nd line behind SWEET AS. He worked in the run 2 starts back in the Triad final behind CLINTAL DO and with the speed to take control here can dictate terms.

BET IM SPECIAL (9) was taken back from gate 6 last start to look for position and was too far back to challenge when the up-front tempo was too slick running home. That was his 1^st run since the Triad and with the good trail through in the early stages can look to be running on in the stretch.

LUCKY VOODOO (10) was luckless here 2 starts back when never seeing an opening. Sent forward to the breeze last start he was strong to the line in claiming the silver and with even luck has podium claims.

ADMIRAL BRONSKI (12) is not having the greatest of luck this prep and despite the tough gate, this would be the type of race that he could bounce back in. Not suited when overworking last start a strong performance would be no surprise.

RACE EIGHT

MOTU REAL STYLE (3) has no started 4 times since returning from a break and should now be rock-hard fit. 2m from the winner when resuming, she hasn’t been too far away each start and in a race that looks to be wide-open she gets her chance to break a 12 month winless streak.

OSCARS GLORY (10) chased home in good order at Redcliffe last start to get within 5m of the winner DOWNAN OUT to claim the bronze. That was his best gate for some time and despite returning to the 2^nd line he can look to follow through and be running on late.

LONGSHANKS (5) returns to Qld and has been well covered in 4 runs back from a spell. The return to the sunshine might be the perfect tonic and a sharper effort can be expected here.

WASTE OF TIME (1) has the options from the gate and has enough early speed to protect the pegs until the right cover comes. His last run was a tidy effort and with his best gate for some time can chime into the exotics.
