Croft Bay and Georgia Grace are on the move.

However, the pair of talented Brisbane pacers is headed in different directions with Croft Bay bound for North America following a short stint in Sydney while Georgia Grace heads to the Harbour City and joins the powerful stables of Tim Butt at Menangle.

Croft Bay, a widely traveled New Zealand bred gelding raced in the Brisbane through the stables of Chantal Turpin and Pete McMullen and with good success where he won 6 races at Albion Park.

The Lis Mara gelding was raced by Ross Patrick after being purchased through respected agent Stuart Valentine.

Recently, Croft Bay was sent to Menangle in a bid to win his ‘MO’ and achieved that target in his first start in Sydney on June 9.

In total, Croft Bay won 13 races while being placed in another 15 from 68 career starts, his career earnings are just shy of $100,000.

Georgia Grace, a well-bred daughter of Rock N Roll Heaven and Grace With Pace was purchased as a yearling from the 2014 Australian Pacing Gold Yearling Sales from the draft of Kevin and Kay Seymour.

The bay filly was knocked down at the price of $34,000 to Shawn Grimsey.

Prepared throughout her career by Grimsey and his wife Michelle, Georgia Grace has performed with distinction throughout her career to date which has netted 16 victories and 16 minor placings from 57 starts.

Georgia Grace has banked more than $140,000 to date.

Boasting 7 victories at Albion Park, her biggest triumphs came via the Gr.2 $80,000 Albion Park Gold 2yo Sales Final in 2015 and the Gr.2 $50,000 QBRED 3yo Fillies Breeders Classic in 2016.

Since basing himself permanently at Menangle, Butt is enjoying tremendous success with his growing team.

His stable star is reigning Miracle Mile champion and the fastest horse in Australasia, My Field Marshal (1:46.9).

So, keep an eye out for Georgia Grace in the coming weeks and months.
