RACE TWO

ONYAJANS (7) started from this same gate here 2 starts back and was full of running when angled away from the pegs and then claiming the silver. Not suited last start when unable to find position and forced to retreat, she will be relying on the 1 holding the front here and be coiled for the final shot.

MATRON JUJON (3) has placed at her past 2 outings, the latest when 3rd behind the big clear-out pair of STUDLEIGH STRIDE and SPORTS STORY. 2 starts back she was strong from the breeze when only beaten a half-head and from the good alley here will throw down the challenge.

DOLLARBILL (10) made a meal of the start and never took part over the AP mile 2 starts back. With a tidy trial to get back to the races, he found the line nicely last start and can chime in against these.

ZED CODE (8) returns from a freshen after working home soundly last start when 8m in arrears. Too far back in a mares race the start prior, she can get an easy trip here and be ready to swoop.

SELECTIONS: ONYAJANS (7), MATRON JUJON (3), DOLLARBILL (10), ZED CODE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ONYAJANS (7) to win

RACE THREE

TROUBLESOME DAVE (8) was the best of the chasers behind the smart winner BILL HALEY here 3 starts back and franked that with a strong win from gate 4 over the sprint trip. Finishing 5.5m from the winner last start from gate 10, he gets into this race well and looks hard to stop.

MAJESTIC KIWI (3) will strip fitter from his latest outing when 1st up from a freshen and 2nd up from a spell. Only 4m from the winner when resuming, last start he released early over the 2138m before charging late to get within a head of the winner APHORISM. With the good alley he can go close.

STUDLEIGH WILL (2) pressed to the front from gate 3 last start and was trying to fight them off when 4m from the winner in 3rd. This is harder but from the gate he will be gripping on.

VANTO HANOVER (10) followed the shortest way home last start and it paid dividends, as she was able to arrive for the prize. The gate hurts but she can be working home to chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: TROUBLESOME DAVE (8), MAJESTIC KIWI (3), STUDLEIGH WILL (2), VANTO HANOVER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: TROUBLESOME DAVE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

MINTED MONTANA (4)
has had his share of problems in just his 3 start career. A smart winner on debut in 2018 as a 2YO, injury put him away after his 2nd up run. Returning after 12 months and striking trouble in the run, he has trialled 3 times looking to sort out the kinks. He is a risk here 1st up, but might just have the edge.

BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (5) made the most of the pole draw last start and holding the front was able to take them all the way to open her Qld account. Not far away here 2 starts back when sent forward from gate 4, she might just have the early speed to get across here. She can challenge.

SUPREME BANNER (3) was 3rd up from a long break when arriving in time to score over the AP mile 2 starts back. Well held last start, look for an improved effort here.

CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (8) was rattling home from back in the pack last start after retreating from gate 6, finishing within 2m of the winner. Runner-up at her previous 2, look for her swooping late.

SELECTIONS: MINTED MONTANA (4), BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (5), SUPREME BANNER (3), CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

MOONLIGHT JACK (3) was 1st up following a stable switch last start and after settling in the pack from a 2nd line gate, closed out strongly to arrive for the prize. That was his 4th run back from a spell and with the added fitness and improved gate can look to go back-to-back.

MEGIDDO (4) has been in the money at his past 2 starts, the latest when using the passing lane to grab the silver behind ELMAUR JOY. Looking to take them all the way 2 starts back, he led deep into the stretch when claimed in the closing stages. With good early speed, he can fire the early shots.

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (10) went to the front from gate 3 last start over the 1780m trip and looked to run them along when fading in the closing stages and finishing 5m in arrears. With even luck in transit she can chime in.

KOTARE KASAI (1) looked to take them all the way from this gate over this trip 5 starts back when grabbed late. Buried in the run at her past 2 outings, with the soft trip she can fill the exotics.

SELECTIONS: MOONLIGHT JACK (3), MEGIDDO (4), MAYWYN NO REGRETS (10), KOTARE KASAI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MOONLIGHT JACK (3) to win

RACE SIX

BRIAN WHO (1)
was returning from a freshen when taking on the AP mile from inside the 2nd line. Locked away in the run, he hit the line nicely when 4m from the in-form COBBLER LANE. Last start he worked to the front from gate 4 when attacked in front and only grabbed late. He can dictate here.

THUNDER MAC (10) started from gate 9 last time out and despite working wide off the track to get into the contest, he packed too much heat to claim a 6m victory. He chased gamely the start prior when wide in a sizzling last 800 and will be right in the fight here.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5) settled back in the pack from gate 10 last start when attacking the line strongly to get within a half-head of victory. Only 3m away the start prior, he will be thereabouts.

GRIZZLY MONTANA (7) finished mid-field last start after snagging back early from gate 6 over the AP mile. He covered plenty of track the start prior and with a soft trip here can be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN WHO (1), THUNDER MAC (10), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5), GRIZZLY MONTANA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN WHO (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (1) started from this gate 3 starts back when crossed early and then raced in the pocket trail. Taking a closing shot she was 3.5m in arrears of the winner FEELINGFORAINBOW. Closing hard to get within a half-head 2 starts back, she can break her maiden with get a great trip.

SOMEHOWSOMEWAY (4) has placed at his past 2 starts, the latest when working home nicely to grab the silver behind MALIBU DREAM. 2 starts back he charged home in the closing stages to get within a head of the winner and with even luck in transit he will be in the thick of it late.

ZARAS ALL SMILES (6) started from gate 10 last time out and was soon put into the contest to get around to the breeze. Fading late, she was 8m from the winner. Able to work, she won’t be far away.

RUM AND SCHOTZ (2) was snagged back from gate 5 last time and then wasn’t able to get into the contest. With good speed out of the Hilux, he can be in the firing line early and be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (1), SOMEHOWSOMEWAY (4), ZARAS ALL SMILES (6), RUM AND SCHOTZ (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

FLASHING GOOD TIME (9)
has the tough gate and is normally better suited when racing on the speed, however she finds a nice target here and just needs the right run in transit to arrive. Snagged back from gate 4 last start she was too far back and 2 back was forced to work. This is within reach.

GIGANTIC JASPER (4) wll appreciate moving one hole closer and can fire the early shots to find the pegs. Leading them up here on Sunday in even splits, he didn’t have any answer late after shooting across from gate 5. If able to pinch a panel, he will be clinging on.

LADY ELL AYE (7) worked home in good order from back in the pack here 2 starts back when 2nd up from a spell to grab the bronze when beaten 5m. Making an error last start, she can be probing here.

THE LAST DRAGON (1) lands the best gate of his career to date, having been no closer than gate 5 in his 6 career starts. With the improved alley and a cosy run on offer here, look for a sharper effort.

SELECTIONS: FLASHING GOOD TIME (9), GIGANTIC JASPER (4), LADY ELL AYE (7), THE LAST DRAGON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-9

RACE NINE

SARIE MARAIS (2)
has had 5 attempts at breaking through for her 1st victory, but hasn’t quite been able to land the prize. Last start from the five-hole, she was forced to work hard and couldn’t see it out. Given no peace in front here when 2nd up, she can show her early speed and will be fighting.

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (3) went to the front last start from gate 2 and was looking to run them along. Fading in the latter stages, he was 8m from the winner MY ULTIMATE STAR. That followed a tough run from gate 5 when sent forward to the breeze and if limiting the work, he will be in the fight.

BARONE (4) covered plenty of the triangle last start when caught on a limb after trying to work forward after being crossed early. His run 2 back at AP was sound and he has claims here.

BROKEN ARK (5) has placed in 4 of his 8 appearances, the latest when using the passing lane to grab the bronze behind SIR JUJON. The wide gate hurts, but he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SARIE MARAIS (2), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (3), BARONE (4), BROKEN ARK (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
