RACE TWO

MISS FERNANDEZ (4) pressed ahead from gate 4 over the AP mile last start to touch down in front. Releasing the pressure when it came, she was best of the chasers behind the comfortable winner BETTATHANIDEAL. Not suited the start prior when breezing from gate 6, she gets her chance in this.

LA PISTOLA (8) has been in the money at 3 of his past 4 starts, including a win here 2 starts back when finishing best from the 1x1 trail to claim a half-head victory. Sent to the breeze from this gate over the 2040m last start, he was in for the fight when within 2m of the winner and is the test.

JOEY LINCOLN (6) has 2 wins at his past 3 starts, the latest when overcoming gate 5 here to finish best in claiming a 1m victory. Striking trouble 2 starts back, he will be sailing home late in this.

CAM YOU FEEL IT (2) was obliged to do it the tough way last start and faded under the pressure of the 2040m trip. Runner-up at his previous 2 outings, returning to the sprint trip is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: MISS FERNANDEZ (4), LA PISTOLA (8), JOEY LINCOLN (6), CAM YOU FEEL IT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-4-6-8

RACE THREE

FORBIDDEN FEELINGS (4)
made immediate impact at his Qld debut 4 starts back when proving too tough in the breeze and claiming a maiden breaking win over the 1780m trip. Making an error at his next start, he bounced back with a Marburg victory and then last start was put of business. In this line-up he can make it 3 from 5 in the Sunshine State.

MAJOR GRANDEUR (1) has been in nice touch since returning from a spell and comes into this as the runner-up at his past 2 starts. Grabbed in the closing stages after leading them up over the AP mile 2 starts back, he was closing nicely last start when beaten a neck. With early options he can challenge.

IM SANDY BAY (6) finally earned her return to the main draw last start and drawn gate 1 quickly showed why she has been an ODM runner for so long when making an error. Back to gate 6 she has podium claims.

TRENTEIGH (3) might just have forgotten how to land a win, adding another 2nd place last start to take his tally to 4 successive 2nd placed runs. With early speed he can settle handy to place again.

SELECTIONS: FORBIDDEN FEELINGS (4), MAJOR GRANDEUR (1), IM SANDY BAY (6), TRENTEIGH (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FORBIDDEN FEELINGS (4) to win

RACE FOUR

WHATA REACTOR (1)
will take some benefit from her latest appearance when 1st up from a break. With no trial heading into her return, she was back in the pack after stalling when moving 3-wide to work into the contest. It has been a while between victory drinks, however the gate is a big plus.

ILLBEWATCHING (8) broke the maiden tag last start when pressing on to take control from gate 4 and once out in front was never in danger when cruising home to a 12m victory. Seemingly best when allowed to stride, the 2nd line gate stings, but with winning confidence can go back-to-back.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) was angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start at Marburg and when asked for the effort was able to finish best and land her 1st career victory. She can feature again.

MOLLY MONTANA (7) was returning from a spell last start when unable to go on with it in the closing stages. With the added fitness and an economical trip, she can be chiming in late here.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (1), ILLBEWATCHING (8), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6), MOLLY MONTANA (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

CHAMONIX (5)
was working home strongly over the AP mile to get within a half-neck of the winner 3 starts back. Franking the effort of that, he was too strong at his next start to open his win account with a stylish victory. His effort to grab the bronze last start behind JASPER had merit after striking trouble and he can look to capitalise here.

SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (6) started a red figure fav in the Fillies Breeders Classic last start and her chances were soon ended with an error as the gate released. After 2 smart placings to start her career, she was a big winner 3rd up and after a preparatory trial, she can challenge.

HEARTBREAK (7) showed she was getting closer to a victory after finishing as the runner-up in successive races. Franking that with a late closing victory, she will be probing for the gaps here.

HES SWEET (8) was in for the fight at his Qld debut, forced to race tough in the breeze when holding on for the silver behind the talented filly JASPER. The gate stings, but he can trail through to feature.

SELECTIONS: CHAMONIX (5), SHEZA BONNY SHEILA (6), HEARTBREAK (7), HES SWEET (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAMONIX (5) to win

RACE SIX

BARBOO (7) was a winner here 2 starts back over the sprint trip when pouncing on the lead from gate 3 and once in control had 10m up his sleeve. Holding on for the bronze over the AP mile last start from the pocket trail when only 2m in arrears, he will need a slice of luck but can arrive.

BRONSKI MACARENA (8) had placed in successive starts here on the triangle including a tough run when sitting outside the leader when 5m shy of the winner to claim the silver. Striking trouble at her next start, she held on for the silver in a much tougher race last start. Despite the gate she can challenge.

ZED EXPRESS (1) fired out early from gate 3 over this trip last start prior to releasing for the trail and then holding on for the silver behind PERFECT FEELING. With the options he can be thereabouts.

MALIBU DREAM (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start when working home in nice style to be 5m in arrears of the winner MISTER FAHRENHEIT. A 2nd up winner 3 starts back, she has claims in this.

SELECTIONS: BARBOO (7), BRONSKI MACARENA (8), ZED EXPRESS (1), MALIBU DREAM (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

DAPPER BESSIE (3)
has been in nice touch since resuming from a break with a pair of wins in her 4 appearances at the track. Holding the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start, she was within 2m of the winner TUAPEKA LIGHT. The gate looks to suit and she can land the loot here.

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (2) should find this a mores suitable assignment than her last start when taking on a mares qualifier claimed by LOVE YOUR SISTER. Mid-field the start prior when chasing home behind DAPPER BESSIE, she has the gate to settle near the pointy end and challenge.

STONE CRACKER (7) will take good benefit from his 1st appearance in Qld when returning from a break. Easing from gate 5 he was strong in the closing stages when only 3m in arrears. He will be probing.

BIG IN AMERICA (5) settled in the 1x1 trail from gate 8 last start when finishing over the top to claim victory at start 100.  The wide gate dents her hopes, yet she can be chiming into the money late.

SELECTIONS: DAPPER BESSIE (3), MAYWYN NO REGRETS (2), STONE CRACKER (7), BIG IN AMERICA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DAPPER BESSIE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROCKNTINGIRA (3) started from gate 3 last time out when taking an early shot that was repelled and left him forced to face the breeze. Digging in for the fight, he was game when finishing 2m from the winner TULHURST KATE. Hitting the line nicely the start prior, he can be close enough to take this.

NEWMERELLA MOLLY (5) will be taking her 1st look at the triangle in a light 8-race career. A smart winner 2 starts back at Marburg when finishing over the top, she was not suited last time out when retreating from a wide gate over the AP mile. In this line-up she can throw down the challenge.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (2) has been in the money at 3 of his past 5 starts, the latest when best of the chasers behind the bug winner SOMEBEACHSOMEGIFT. Hustling early, he is in the mix.

AROONA (1) eased into the running line from gate 5 over the sprint trip 2 starts back when closing well to be a half-neck from the winner. Tucked away, he can be ready to take a closing shot.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNTINGIRA (3), NEWMERELLA MOLLY (5), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (2), AROONA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNTINGIRA (3) to win

RACE NINE

BURMACH (5)
is after a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the 2040m trip. Claiming a qualifier here 2 starts back when leading throughout, he again went all the way last start with a strong last 800m to hold a 1m margin. He can overcome the wide gate here.

SHOWEM SIMON (8) has a superb record at the Redcliffe track, finishing runner-up twice and winner 4 times in his 7 outings. Pressing ahead to find the breeze last start over the 2040m, he was forced to race tough in the breeze when only 1m shy of BURMACH. He can look to turn the tables.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (4) started inside the 2nd line last start over the AP mile and was soon buried away. Closing nicely, it was a tidy effort chasing and returning to the triangle suits.

ASHKII (7) found the 1x1 over the mile last start when chasing home for the bronze behind OUR FRIEND. With an economical trip, he can be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS:  BURMACH (5), SHOWEM SIMON (8), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (4), ASHKII (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

TUAPEKA LIGHT (3) pressed forward from gate 4 last start to land in the 1x1 trail. With the nice trip she had too many bullets to fire over the closing stages in claiming a 2m victory. Fitter again after 4 runs back from a 12 month break, she is 2 for 2 here at the triangle and can land the threepeat.

PITTSWORTH MAN (1) was a winner here 3 starts back when settling in the pocket trail and making the closing shot a winner. Beaten his past 2 starts at Marburg, he returns to the good gate and with the benefit of the early options can look to throw down the challenge.

TAYLOR HOOD (6) has the tough gate to negotiate, finishing down the line last start from gate 5 after retreating in the early stages to find position. With even luck in transit he has podium claims.

IMA REGAL JET (7) was a winner from behind the leader here 4 starts back over the 2040m trip. Not too far away in 3 starts since, he can get the perfect trip and be looking for space in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: TUAPEKA LIGHT (3), PITTSWORTH MAN (1), TAYLOR HOOD (6), IMA REGAL JET (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TUAPEKA LIGHT (3) to win
