RACE TWO

ADRIFT (3) has been forced to work in the run at his past 2 starts and been unable to convert them to victory. Last week he fought hard to the line and went under by 1m behind the all-the-way SHEZA GALVINATOR. Fitter from 3 runs back, he looks to get his chance this week.

OH STANLEY (7) charged out from gate 5 last start and did his share of early work before receiving cover and then fading out. Grabbed in the closing stages 2 starts back when looking to lead throughout he should enjoy a cosy trip here and be charging when the gaps open.

KATHLEEN GRACE (1) was runner-up in her 1st 2 runs back from a break and then last start couldn’t go with them in the closing stages. From the gate she can be in a great position to podium here.

TELLELLA (6) has the tough gate to overcome yet she is in good touch and would just need some luck to fall her way to feature. Placed at her past 3 only beaten a head in 2 of those, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ADRIFT (3), OH STANLEY (7), KATHLEEN GRACE (1), TELLELLA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ADRIFT (3) to win

RACE THREE

MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (2) rolled forward to the front here last week over the 2040m trip and looked to dictate until grabbed right on the post. He can look to fire the first shot here and with the options then open gets his chance to go one better this time.

JESSICA AMBER (3) will find this easier than what she has been meeting in recent starts in Sat night company. With good early speed she can look to fire off the arm here to take control and will be trying to fight them off.

PROJECTILE (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and made some closing ground to get within 7m of the winner. He will get the cosy trip again here and has rough place hopes.

KARLOO MAC (5) hit the line strongly last start after being buried on the pegs. He has met much stronger and in-form pacers in recent starts and despite the wide gate stays under notice in this.

SELECTIONS: MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (2), JESSICA AMBER (3), PROJECTILE (1), KARLOO MAC (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

PITTSWORTH MAN (2)
shoots for a hat-trick of victories after a win here at Redcliffe from the 2nd line and an AP win from gate 6. The AP win over the 2138m trip was a strong effort when he just kept grinding away. He lands his best gate for some time and can take full advantage.

ONE MANS PASS (7) should be further tightened now that he has started 3 time back from a long break. Buried in the run last start he was closing out strongly and chased to the line to be 4m from the winner. He will need a slice of luck but will be charging when the gaps open.

COURAGEOUS LEO (5) lands another tough gate after looking to lead throughout last start from gate 6 over this trip and only beaten 2m. His run 2 starts back was good and will be right in the fight again.

OUR PEPPERJACK (1) wasn’t suited last start when taken back early and the tempo kept him out of contention. He gets the gate improvement and with the cosy trip can press for the podium here.

SELECTIONS: PITTSWORTH MAN (2), ONE MANS PASS (7), COURAGEOUS LEO (5), OUR PEPPERJACK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PITTSWORTH MAN (2) to win

RACE FIVE

MAJOR TRALEE (1) scored a narrow victory here 3 starts back when pressing forward before receiving running line cover. Beaten by the barriers at his past 2 the efforts have been good and from the inside advantage looks to get every chance.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7) looked to take them all the way last start and led every step bar the most important one when grabbed on the line. Luckless 2 starts back, he should get a perfect trip here and if he doesn’t get too keen when covered up will be ready for the closing shot.

DIAMANTINA DEVIL (4) will strip fitter from his latest start when 1st up off a long break. Making some closing ground in that if he can find early position here he can feature.

ZED CODE (2) returned a tidy effort from gate 7 at AP last start and closed out in good order. 2 starts back she hit the line strongly and with even luck in transit she will be in the thick of the action here.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR TRALEE (1), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7), DIAMANTINA DEVIL (4), ZED CODE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR TRALEE (1) to win

RACE SIX

STUUNDER (2)
caught the eye last start after going back from gate 7 at AP and then working home strongly when 7m from the winner ZALTA. He set a strong tempo when looking to go all the way at Marburg 3 starts back and can look to take control of this.

REMEMBER MAC (7) followed peg runs last start when grabbing 3rd behind the good winner TELL THE LINESMAN. He will need some luck from this alley as he looks to get buried in the run here but with the inside runs can charge into the money.

BUDDY BABCOCK (6) didn’t see much space last start when running on late to finish 8m from DARBY BRIGHTS. That followed an all the way effort at AP from gate 1. Place claims look best from the tough gate.

DOWNAN OUT (3) had a dip for the front last start and when unable to cross received cover and finished 7m from the winner. A nice 3rd at AP 3 starts back keeps him under notice in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: STUUNDER (2), REMEMBER MAC (7), BUDDY BABCOCK (6), DOWNAN OUT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: STUUNDER (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

ROCKNROLL DUDE (8) was making his Qld debut last start off the inside 2nd line here. Making a charge when the leader had already pinched the winning break, his work late was good. With the right early trail through he can settle handy to the speed and will be right in the fight.

SOPHIES PRIDE (1) was buried away in the run here 2 starts back and when the passing lane opened charged home to arrive for the win. Last start she closed strongly from the 2nd line to claim the bronze and with the cosy trip here can feature.

DARBY BRIGHTS (9) shoots for the hat-trick after successive Redcliffe victories, the latest a tough effort from this same gate. Strong in the run she can throw down a big challenge here.

JANIES GOT A GUN (2) looked to take them all the way last start and setting an even tempo was worried out of it by BUG BEAT. With the speed to look for the pegs she will be gripping on again.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DUDE (8), SOPHIES PRIDE (1), DARBY BRIGHTS (9), JANIES GOT A GUN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-2-8-9

RACE EIGHT

CAMIVISTA (3)
is worth a chance in this race that looks to be tricky to work out. Finding the front off this alley 3 starts back he released and grabbed 3rd and has met slightly tougher line-ups his past 2 at AP. He can look for the front here and from there can dictate to this bunch.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) will be better suited in this than last start on the grass at Kilcoy when beaten a long way. From the gate he can secure a cosy trip and will be ready to look for the gaps.

CHIKA MATTGREGOR (5) started fav last start and did some early work before receiving cover and holding on for the silver. The wide gate does her no favours but with this no harder than last time she has some hope.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (8) looked to take them all the way last start and looked home at the 100m until she started to tippy-toe and was grabbed on the line. With even luck she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CAMIVISTA (3), ITS YOU NOT ME (1), CHIKA MATTGREGOR (5), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

GLENFERRIE BABY (8)
was sent forward and was working in the run and only faded the closing stages last start. That followed a tough 3m 3rd to JANUARY and with a nice run in transit looks to get her chance to go close in a wide open race.

BIG BEAT (6) has the tough gate to overcome yet if he can get cover without getting too far back, he will be powering home late. Last week he sat back in the pack from gate 4 and was charging home with a well-tined run to score. Look for him swooping.

NERIO (7) will need plenty of luck from this gate as she looks to get buried in the run. A strong winner here 2 starts back her latest run in a mares qualifier was sound. In the mix if the gaps open.

FUI FUI (2) used the passing lane last time out to get within 2m of the winner from an inside 2nd line gate. He can have a look for the front early and is in the exotic mix.

SELECTIONS: GLENFERRIE BABY (8), BIG BEAT (6), NERIO (7), FUI FUI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GLENFERRIE BABY (8) to win
