RACE TWO

IOWNATURBO (1) went back early from the middle of the line and was closing hard to get within a half-head of MACHIN OUT last start. A winner 4 starts back when swooping hard to score, she was only 5m and then 4m from the winner at her next 2 starts. With the soft trip she can look to take the lasts shot.

FIRE ONE (2) has started 6 times at Redcliffe and been in the money on 5 of those occasions, however has never led them up on the triangle. From gate 2 she gets her chance to look for the pegs and in front will be much better suited than her last race when down the line behind BODHI TREE. She will take some stitching.

MAMMALS FLASH (7) found his race last start and took them all the way to score a stylish win. From this gate he can dart down to the markers for a cheap run and will be swooping home when the gaps appear.

COURAGEOUS LEO (8) bounced back last week to prove his 1st up run was just a blip on the radar when he faded out. He sprinted sharply once shown open road last start and can press through early to find position here.

SELECTIONS: IOWNATURBO (1), FIRE ONE (2), MAMMALS FLASH (7), COURAGEOUS LEO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: IOWNATURBO (1) to win

RACE THREE

AQUA MISS (8) will need some factors to go her way but she looks the class of the field and can look to follow through at the start and pressing on might just find herself in front. If that scenario eventuates she will be might hard to stop. The Triad winner 2 starts back she was brave in the Derby behind COLT THIRTY ONE last week.

DARKERSHADEOFPALE (11) has no favours from the gate at her 1st Qld appearance for NSW trainer Craig Cross. 3 starts back she found the line strongly in slick closing sections at Menangle behind MY SWEETCHILLYPHILLY. Freshened since her last run when scoring easily at Penrith, she has trialled nicely at Menangle since that run.

SOCIABLE (4) heads north for Vic based Andrew Stuart and in a short career the filly has proven a talented type. Qualifying for the Vic Oaks after a 4th in the heat behind AQUA MISS, her run in the final was a top effort when 10m from the superstar SHEZ ALL ROCK. If she can find the pegs she will takes some stopping.

FAME ASSURED (10) was 3rd in the Triad Final last start when 7m from AQUA MISS which followed a 6th in a Vic Oaks heat. She can’t be ignored, LISA LINCOLN (7) will need plenty of luck from the draw, but of able to see space does have good speed and MISS HOOLLIGAN (5) was impressive when winning her Qld debut at AP last start.

SELECTIONS: AQUA MISS (8), DARKERSHADEOFPALE (11), SOCIABLE (4), FAME ASSURED (10)
SUGGESTED BET: AQUA MISS (8) to win

RACE FOUR

SLICE OF HEAVEN (5)
shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here at Redcliffe over the 1780m and 2040m. Last start he was sent forward from the 2nd line to find the breeze and was strong to the line to score by 3m in slick time. He can roll forward here and with this no harder than last time I'll stick with you kid that's the bottom line

GLENFERRIE DUSTER (10) was working home wide off the track last start over the 2138m at AP and couldn’t make an impression. Forget his run 2 back when making an error, his previous 3 runs were all good efforts including a pair of wins here on the triangle. Look for improvement in this.

MISTA NATURAL (3) rolled forward from gate 3 here last week to find the pegs and in a solid tempo fought on well to hold the bronze behind SLICE OF HEAVEN. He can look to the light the lamps again and will be gripping on.

MICKEY RAMONE (1) will enjoy a cosy trip at his Redcliffe debut for visiting NSW trainer Pat Jones. Featuring in a stable change since his last outing at Charlton in May, he has exotic claims from the gate.

SELECTIONS: SLICE OF HEAVEN (5), GLENFERRIE DUSTER (10), MISTA NATURAL (3), MICKEY RAMONE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SLICE OF HEAVEN (5) to win

RACE FIVE

ALLELUIA (12) is back in form and comes into this with wins at 3 of his past 5 starts and placings in the other 2. Last start he was too strong in a small field to score over the 2138m trip and 2 starts back was attacking the line strongly to get within 2m of the win in the Flashing Red. He will be hard to hold out.

THE SHADY ONE (10) made a mess of the start in the Flashing Red before tracking along the pegs and charging late when seeing space. Given practice for this race last time out he settled in the 1x1 from a 20m tape and finished best in the small field. If within striking distance watch for him swooping hard.

CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (6) makes his debut from the tapes and from the outside might just be out of trouble and if quickly into stride and sent forward, he might just be worth an each-way ticket at value.

MARKEY OH MARKEY (8) stepped straight to the front and went all the way in the Flashing Red. Taking the 10m penalty he will find this a different scenario. JOYS A BABE (9) moves forward 20m from her last start when only 4m from THE SHADY ONE which keeps her right in the picture and STIRLING WILLIAM (1) will get the cosy trip and be ready to issue a closing challenge if seeing the lane with momentum.

SELECTIONS: ALLELUIA (12), THE SHADY ONE (10), CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (6), MARKEY OH MARKEY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (6) EACH-WAY

RACE SIX

OUR OVERANOVA (13)
has been top 2 at his past 5 starts with the latest when finishing runner-up here last week to MISTER GUNSEN. Moving around to the breeze from his 60m impost it was only the last 50m that he really worked home. Fool-proof from the tapes he gets every chance to take this.

IVANOV (5) took on a T2-7 last start and from the front tapes was sent straight to the front and it was only right on the line he was grabbed by LANSBURY who sat on him throughout. An excellent beginner when the strands fly, he can get straight to the front and with options is right in this.

MASTER HUGH (8) faces a big ask at his 1st run back from a break over the long trip and his 1st look at Redcliffe. Only starting once last prep when 3rd to MISTER GUNSEN he has podium claims.

MISTER GUNSEN (10) did as he pleased in front last week and was never asked any questions in scoring easily. The bigger field and extra 10m makes it tougher, RELEVEN DREAM (12) is 1st up from a break and has his 1st start at Redcliffe which is always a query while KIP KEINO (2) will strip fitter from his last run when resuming from a break and finding the line nicely for 3rd to LANSBURY.

SELECTIONS: OUR OVERANOVA (13), IVANOV (5), MASTER HUGH (8), MISTER GUNSEN (10)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR OVERANOVA (13) to win

RACE SEVEN

SAMS THE BEST (5) looked to take them all the way in the Sales Consolation last week and was leading them deep into the stretch and just couldn’t see it out. With good speed out of the machine he can look to fire out again to light the lamps and he will be gripping on again.

ARK ME (6) claimed the silver in the Sales Final last week after finding the pegs from gate 4 and then releasing and running REGULUS to a 2m margin. She took them all the way in the heats of that series and while she has no favours from gate 6 with even luck in the run she is right in the mix.

MISS MIA (2) was well covered last start after working hard in the run in the early stages. That followed a tidy 4th behind MINTED MONTANA at her race debut. Back to the triangle she can be an improver.

MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (9) has not been seen since the Bathurst Crown series when running a tidy race in the heats behind UNCLE JORD and then mid-field in a Consolation. He comes into the race without a trial and will take good benefit from the run.

SELECTIONS: SAMS THE BEST (5), ARK ME (6), MISS MIA (2), MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SAMS THE BEST (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

SEVEN RIPPIN ACES (3)
has started 3 times since returning from a break and should be close to a fitness peak. 2 starts back he found the line strongly to be 4m from the winner WHERES THE SPIRIT and last start wasn’t suited when restraining from gate 6 and ending up too far back. With good early speed he gets his chance.

OH STANLEY (4) was 1st to the pegs last week before releasing the speed and holding on for the silver behind the smart LISA LINCOLN. An all the way winner from gate 4 2 starts back he will be firing early shots here but the short run to the 1st turn might just make it tricky. Can still take this.

MICKEE CULLEN (5) tracked home well last week to claim the bronze behind LISA LINCOLN after settling in the running line from gate 8. He will have to go back here but if the tempo is too strong he can finish over the top.

ARCH EMPRESS (8) will need a slice of luck from the 2nd line here to get the right cart home. Buried away last week she was never going to feature once shuffled out. Just needs the breaks to go her way.

SELECTIONS: SEVEN RIPPIN ACES (3), OH STANLEY (4), MICKEE CULLEN (5), ARCH EMPRESS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SEVEN RIPPIN ACES (3) to win
