RACE TWO

JACKS AT THE BEACH (7) used the passing lane last start over the AP sprint trip and after being positioned 3 back in the run, went within a neck of victory. Not suited at the 2138m 2 starts back, he will need some factors in his favour here, but ready to strike can make start 100 a winning one.

ARK PATROL (6) was a strong winner here 3 starts back when sent forward from gate 5 packed too many guns to score. He looked to have his chance to go back-to-back when forced to settle for 3rd, but atoned for that defeat when taking them all the way last start. He is in the mix again here.

MY SECRET TORQUE (3) was in for the fight last start in mares company when cutting the breeze from gate 5 she was only 4m in arrears. That followed a tough tri pat Marburg and she has claims.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (10) settled back in the pack last start and found the line in sound order when 7m from the winner. 2nd to LITTLE CHANGE here 2 starts back, he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: JACKS AT THE BEACH (7), ARK PATROL (6), MY SECRET TORQUE (3), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (10)
SUGGESTED BET: JACKS AT THE BEACH (7) to win

RACE THREE

COREY WILLIAM (3) has only faced the tapes on 2 occasions, scoring a win and a 2nd. Last start he was best of the chasers behind the Carnival-bound NORTHVIEW HUSTLER and 2 back was working home strongly from back in the pack here over the 1780m. If he can step to the front, they will struggle to run him down.

SIR JULIAN (6) took the pocket trail last start over the long 2647m trip at AP and chased gamely behind the all-the-way winner MO CASINO who was able to lay down a 27.1 closing panel. His run 2 back in the Flashing Red was solid and with good manners from the tapes can feature.

FIOKI (8) was closing out nicely here last start to grab the bronze behind RED CHARMER. His record here on the triangle is solid and with the right cart into the contest will be hitting the line strongly.

THE FAITHFUL (7) is yet to show his best since arriving in Qld, however he has also had excuses in some of those outings. The start is the big query, but if safely away, this is race he can feature in.

SELECTIONS: COREY WILLIAM (3), SIR JULIAN (6), FIOKI (8), THE FAITHFUL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: COREY WILLIAM (3) to win

RACE FOUR

The first heat of the Garrards Sales Series and the undefeated GOVERNOR JUJON (9) will be looking to keep his perfect record in place despite a tricky gate. His debut outing and win was classy when sprinting sharply to score and he followed that with a dominant all the way win. He looks smart.

AMAYA BECOMES (2) will take benefit from her latest start when returning from a freshen she was beaten a half-neck by SUGARKANE when starting a red figure fav. A winner at her 1st 2 career starts, including the Fillies Breeders Classic, she will be right in the fight from the good gate.

SUKI DAYO (1) will have the early options from this gate and was an all the way winner here 2 starts back. Freshened since her latest outing when grabbed in the closing stages, she is in the mix.

ARCHILLES (7) started a short-priced fav on debut and with the benefit of gate 1 was able to take control and take full advantage of a scrimmage behind him to score a huge win. He just needs luck.

SELECTIONS: GOVERNOR JUJON (9), AMAYA BECOMES (2), SUKI DAYO (1), ARCHILLES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GOVERNOR JUJON (9) to win

RACE FIVE

MEGIDDO (1) ended up back in the pack from gate 3 last start and then finished towards the rear. That followed a luckless effort when unable to find open space after being locked away from inside the 2nd line. Hustling to hold, he can look to take control for an all the way win.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (6) made the most of conditions last start when leading throughout from gate 1 to claim victory over the 1780m trip. Putting the tempo on through the closing 800m, he packed too many guns in claiming a 13m victory. The gate hurts but he can look to build off the win.

ARBIT MAJOR (8) started from gate 11 last time out over the AP mile and struggled to work into the contest. Luckless the start prior at Marburg, he should appreciate conditions here and is in the mix.

WEASEL (7) arrived in time to claim victory by a neck here 3 starts back and followed that with 2nd from gate 9. With a soft run in transit on offer here, look for him probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: MEGIDDO (1), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (6), ARBIT MAJOR (8), WEASEL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MEGIDDO (1) to win

RACE SIX

The 2nd heat of the Yearling Sales Series with the top 5 from each heat earning a ticket to the G1 Final sees an open contest with ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6) looking to go back-to-back. Placed at his 1st 4 career starts, he cashed-in last start when leading throughout. This is tougher from the gate but saved for the last shot he can arrive.

A RAINBOW DIAMOND (2) lands the best gate of her career thus far and can look to make full advantage of it early. A passing lane winner 2 starts back, she was sent for a let-up and returned last start when chasing from back in the pack behind GOVERNOR JUJON. She can capitalise here.

TIC TACT (1) was sketchy in her gait last start when driven out of the gate from the three-hole before finding the pocket trail. Placed at her past 3, all here at Redcliffe, she maps to get a great trip.

MEGA STAR (10) found the line in good order 2 starts back when resuming from a spell and grabbing the bronze behind GOVERNOR JUJON. He worked home wide off the track last start and has claims.

SELECTIONS: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6), A RAINBOW DIAMOND (2), TIC TACT (1), MEGA STAR (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

TRACES OF TARA (1) had a shot for the front off gate 3 last start when making her Qld debut and having her 1st run back from a break. Unable to get across, she was then keen in the breeze, fading out in the closing stages. With the benefit of the inside line, she can protect the pegs and dictate.

SWAFFHAM WATER (7)
landed this alley last time out and was soon buried away in the run and never saw the gaps when needed to have a shot. The start prior she charged home when within 1.5m of the winner and with the cosy trip here, will be coiled and ready to take the snipers shot.

BUKTHSYSTEM (8) made the most of the passing lane to arrive for the win over the sprint trip 2 starts back. Not suited when wide off the track last start, he can take inside runs to feature here.

SPLASH OF GOLD (9) has placed at her past 3 in succession, the latest when working home wide off the track to grab the silver. The gate hurts here, but if able to grab a cart home, she will finish hard.

SELECTIONS: TRACES OF TARA (1), SWAFFHAM WATER (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (8), SPLASH OF GOLD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TRACES OF TARA (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

JUST JOSHIN (4)
should appreciate this class of opponent after competing in a Gold Pot Series at his past 2. After a soft run against the pegs in the heat, he found the line nicely to grab the bronze and then in the Final was beaten by the barrier when retreating from gate 5. This looks his chance.

TELLELLA (8) was snagged back from gate 6 last start to find position and returned a tidy effort under the circumstances behind NEWMERELLA LADYKAY. Striking trouble in the run 2 starts back, she should secure a nice early trail here and can be ready to swoop late.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5) had nowhere to go when grabbing the bronze from behind the leader at Marburg 2 starts back and the found the line nicely last start at AP. Look for him chiming in late.

DONOMOOR (7) worked home strongly wide off the track last start at Marburg to arrive for the prize. He will need a slice of luck from the gate here but if the gaps arrive he can place.

SELECTIONS: JUST JOSHIN (4), TELLELLA (8), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5), DONOMOOR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST JOSHIN (4) to win

RACE NINE

TROJAN BANNER (5)
has been airborne since arriving in Qld and last start made it 6 wins in succession. Freshened since that outing when pressing on to the front over the 2138m to take control and score an easy win, the lonely concern in this line-up will be how he handles the triangle.

LETS DIG IT (2) was locked away with no room from the pocket trail at Marburg 2 starts back, and followed that with an effort sharper than the return suggests, running sharp closing panels. Without much luck of late and good early speed he can find the pegs 1st and from there will hold the options.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (3) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here over the 1780m trip. Pressing ahead to find the front from gate 5 last start he forged clear for a nice win. This is harder.

SELECTIONS: TROJAN BANNER (5), LETS DIG IT (2), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TROJAN BANNER (5) to win
