The Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club have scheduled trials on Wednesday 16 June from 5.30pm.
The scheduled trial session on Wednesday evening is contingent on the final stages of the track renovation and lure rail replacement project being completed on Tuesday and Wednesday. RQ will provide confirmation to participants that the trials are proceeding on Wednesday afternoon.
Pending completion of a successful trial session, the Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club are scheduled to resume racing on Wednesday 23 June 2021.
Due to the Townsville show, Rockhampton will then race on Tuesday night 29 June 2021, Saturday morning 3 July 2021, and Tuesday night 6 July 2021, before the regular Wednesday night timeslot resumes on 14 July 2021.
Racing Queensland has rescheduled feature events that were not able to be conducted in May and June due to the lure rail replacement project. Heats of the Rockhampton Grand Prix are now scheduled on Tuesday 6 July 2021 with the final on Wednesday 14 July 2021. The Rockhampton Young Guns heats are now scheduled on Wednesday 21 July with the final on Wednesday 28 July 2021. The Rockhampton Young Guns (407m) will retain the same eligibility dates as originally programmed (for greyhounds whelped on or after 26/11/2018).
