RACE ONE

SPIRIT WALKER (2) started from gate 2 last start under mobile conditions and threw her chances away with an early error. Recovering well she hit the line strongly to finish within 5m of the winner QUIETLY SPOKEN. A McNeil heat winner 3 starts back, she looks to be well placed off the front line.

SPRINGBANK EDEN (9) started from the front line in a open discretionary last start and worked hard in the run facing the breeze when beaten 4m. From the 30m he will need to work forward but this looks within reach.
JUSTABITCOCO (4) Her last start from the mobile was good and if able to settle close is right in this.
QUIETLY SPOKEN (7) Yet to show her top form when chasing, she is going too well to ignore.

SELECTIONS: SPIRIT WALKER (2), SPRINGBANK EDEN (9) JUSTABITCOCO (4), QUIETLY SPOKEN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIRIT WALKER (2) to win

RACE TWO

MAYWYNS COURAGE (1) has put it all together after taking a while to recapture his obvious ability and last start completed a hat-trick of victories in taking out a Gold Pot Final. Pressing ahead from gate 5 he found the front and kept the tempo up for a good win. He looks set to go all the way.

DARBY BRIGHTS (5) is after her own hat-trick after wins here at AP over the mile and then last start at Redcliffe when sprinting clear for a big 24m victory. The gate makes it tricky here, but she is in the zone.
ZED CODE (8) with the easy trip can be in the money.
GINA MACH (4) with the added fitness can feature.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYNS COURAGE (1), DARBY BRIGHTS (5), ZED CODE (8), GINA MACH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYNS COURAGE (1) to win

RACE THREE

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (4) has the benefit of race experience over her rivals with placings in 2 of 3 outings and can call on that experience here from the good gate. Her run last start from gate 7 when facing the breeze and beaten 5m behind THAT’S BETTOR was a top run and she can look to take this.

SMART AS CAMM BE (9) is a first starter by Cammibest out of the good race mare Too Smart For You. She has trialled in good order for her debut and from the select Kylie Rasmussen team must be respected.
OVERTHEMOON (7) trialled well against older horses and is worth following- the gate hurts in this.
FEELGOODCHICK (1) Her trial was a nice effort and she stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN NO REGRETS (4), SMART AS CAMM BE (9), OVERTHEMOON (7), FEELGOODCHICK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN NO REGRETS (4) to win

Insufficient exposed form to determine speed map.

RACE FOUR

RED CHARMER (7) has the tough gate to negotiate, yet she is a classy filly who is up to this type of race. From the same gate last start in a Gold Pot final she rolled forward and working hard in the run fought hard when beaten 5.5m behind COREY WILLIAM. She is the danger here.

PHOTOZEN (5) was first-up in his 3YO term 2 starts back when finding the line strongly to claim the silver when only a half-neck from the winner MAYWYNS COURAGE. Too far back in the pack last start if he can settle closer to the action here can be right in the mix.
SOMWHWEREOVARAINBOW (8) The tempo was against him last start in a Final with his heat run in that series a tidy effort.
TUESDAYS FELLA (3) will take improvement on whatever he achieves here.

SELECTIONS: RED CHARMER (7), PHOTOZEN (5), SOMWHWEREOVARAINBOW (8), TUESDAYS FELLA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-5-7-8

RACE FIVE

MATTGREGOR (4) returns from a spell with the talented 5YO looking to continue where he left off last campaign that saw him complete a hat-trick when winning a 2300m event at Menangle. With 1 trial to prepare for his return, he meets rock-hard opponents, but is a richly talented pacer than will have much bigger targets this campaign.

EXPRESSIONIST (6) was a strong Menangle winner 2 starts back when holding on for a 1m victory. He took on FFA company on Sat night when luckless from inside the 2nd line and only beaten 5m. The gate hurts but is up to the challenge.
CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (5) will be looking to power home in the closing stages.
GEORGIA GRACE (3) With a career best win rate to her name 3 starts back she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MATTGREGOR (4), EXPRESSIONIST (6), CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (5), GEORGIA GRACE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 3-4-5-6

RACE SIX

ONLY ONE PROMISE (6) lines up for a hat-trick after sweeping a C1 Rising Stars series at his past 2. The heat win was a tough win from the breeze and the final from the 2nd line saw him finish over the top. He faces a tricky gate but is right up to this.

THUNDER MAC (3) found his race last start and from gate 5 over this trip was able to find the front and then control the tempo to take them all the way. This is harder than what he met in that, but with the confidence can feature.
THE HARLEM HAMMER (9) with some tempo off the front she can be charging late.
BANGKOK BRAVADO (5) Taken to Redcliffe for a confidence builder, he did exactly that with a 34m victory. He can podium again.

SELECTIONS: ONLY ONE PROMISE (6), THUNDER MAC (3), THE HARLEM HAMMER (9), BANGKOK BRAVADO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ONLY ONE PROMISE (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

JOSSIE JAMES (6) was forced to cut the breeze last start and with the closing half run in 54.9 at the front, she faded off. 2 starts back she went within 3.5m of THREE OF THE BEST via the passing lane and with some speed in this, she can find position and look to sprint home over the top.

IOWNATURBO (1) returned from a spell in good order when flashing home late to win a mares only qualifier. Settling at the rear she attacked the line strongly to score. With a cosy trip look for her sprinting when the gaps open.
BETTOR BE LUCKY (7) the gate stings, but he looks to have come back well.
REGAL NIGHTSHADE (2) Beaten by the gate 2 starts back he can  find the pegs and be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: JOSSIE JAMES (6), IOWNATURBO (1), BETTOR BE LUCKY (7), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JOSSIE JAMES (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

SLIPASLYGRIN (3) returns from a break after last stepping out in an Aspirational event back in January when working wide off the track from gate 6. Over the sprint trip 4 starts back he looked to take them all the way when grabbed late and beaten 2m. He can return in style.

THE GUN ROCKSTAR (1) will be further tightened now following his 3rd start back from a long break. Starting from the 2nd line last start he was well back in the pack and didn’t really work into the contest. From the good gate he has the options and can go close here.
GOTTA GO RALPHIE (9) Only 5.5m from GOVINNI when hitting the line nicely 2 back, he can podium in this line-up.
PARTY STARTER (12) Her last start behind REGAL NIGHTSHADE had merit and she has claims here.

SELECTIONS: SLIPASLYGRIN (3), THE GUN ROCKSTAR (1), GOTTA GO RALPHIE (9), PARTY STARTER (12)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

PSYCHEDELIC (8) will need some factors to go his way, but working off the map of the 1 holding top, he can be poised and ready to strike. He was working home against the tempo last start behind STATEMENT MADE and 2 starts back was beaten 3m when starting fav. Can finish best to score.

CROWNING GLORY (2) was buried away on the pegs in a 2nd division qualifier here 3 starts back and was attacking the line strongly once the open space presented. Despite being well beaten at his past 2, there have been excuses and he can be much sharper here.
PLAYNSERIOUS (1) From the gate he can spear out and look to take them all the way.
MONIVAE (4) will be worth following.

SELECTIONS: PSYCHEDELIC (8), CROWNING GLORY (2), PLAYNSERIOUS (1), MONIVAE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: PSYCHEDELIC (8) to win

RACE TEN

WATTLEBANK FLYER (2) has faced the starter 4 times this campaign with a pair of 3rds at Redcliffe amongst those returns. He found the line nicely last start after being buried away on the pegs behind LUCIFERS LEGEND and from the gate gets his chance to breakthrough.

TALLYHO BROMAC (4) was a long way back in the pack last start when trying to make ground in a slick closing panel set from the front by KOTARE YORK. Finding position he has podium claims here.
MACHIN OUT (9) can follow through at the start to find good position and be charging late.
CHANTREY (6) Forget his last start, he can finish in the exotics here.

SELECTIONS: WATTLEBANK FLYER (2), TALLYHO BROMAC (4), MACHIN OUT (9), CHANTREY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WATTLEBANK FLYER (2) to win
