FORM ANALYSIS BY DARREN CLAYTON - @DASHMAN01

Speed maps are based on recent and anticipated racing patterns. For important changes of tactics which may affect the accuracy of this speed map follow @QRICstewards on Twitter.

RACE ONE

THE AMERICAN DREAM (3)
found his race 2 starts back and even after striking trouble I the run was still far too good in landing a 24m victory. Last start he was buried in the run and attacked the line strongly once the space opened and in a tricky opener to the night he can go mighty close.

SPONDOOLEY (1) gets conditions to suit here and loves swooping with 1 run after a soft trip. His run 2 starts back behind MUCHO MACHO MAN was strong and was just too far back last start. With the expected run he gets every chance.

SELECTIONS: THE AMERICAN DREAM (3), SPONDOOLEY (1), MISTER HART (4), BLACK BELT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-3-4-7

RACE TWO

MONTCALM (2) will be tighter following 2 runs back from a break, the latest here last week when well covered behind MUCHO MACHO MAN. Not suited off gate 6 in that, he moves to a tight alley here and can look to fire out to the front and controlling the tempo will take some stopping.

MUCHO MACHO MAN (3) is the king of the triangle at present and aims up for 6 wins in a row. He pressed forward from gate 4 last week and forced his way to the front and once in control it was never in doubt. The lead is likely not there this time which might hurt but he can’t be discounted.

SELECTIONS: MONTCALM (2), MUCHO MACHO MAN (3), PLAYNSERIOUS (1), SAMS A CHAMP (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

ELZBOY (8) wasn’t suited last start when taken back off gate 7 at AP and then struggled to work into the race with the lead pair clearing out by a big space. His run 3 starts back when 13m from GOVINNI had merit and in this field he can get in the action early and looks to get his chance.

SONNY ORLANDO (4) hasn’t been too far away of late and strikes a field and gate where he can get in the action early. Last start when facing the breeze he couldn’t hold on when beaten 7m. With better luck in finding a position he can challenge.

SELECTIONS: ELZBOY (8), SONNY ORLANDO (4), THE FORMULA ONE (10), DOOLITTLE DOOFY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ELZBOY (8) to win

RACE FOUR

BOB GAGE (1)
is a consistent performer that is never far from the action and comes into this with a 1m 3rd to SHERIFF JUJON. 3 starts back he worked home strongly to arrive for victory over the 1780m trip and with the speed to hold the front here will look to take them all the way.

MACH SAM (8) was a winner here 3 starts back when using the sprint lane to go straight past them for a good win. His past 2 have been through a Rising Stars Series where he was game in the final when they were just a touch too slick. Back to this grade he is a huge up the lane again.

SELECTIONS: BOB GAGE (1), MACH SAM (8), WESTERN JEWELS (3), TIME TRAVELLER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BOB GAGE/MACH SAM (1/8) quinella

RACE FIVE

JAZZY ARTIST (5) has been runner-up in 2 of her past 3 starts with her past 3 starts all from the 2nd line. At her best she has a bit over some of these and with the ability to do some work in her races she might just be looking to get forward and apply the pressure and claim her 1st win in 12 months.

TARIN KOWT (1) found his race last start at AP and from the 2nd line found a perfect spot in the running line which allowed him to finish over the top. With the benefit of gate 1 he should get the perfect trip and be ready to issue the closing challenge.

SELECTIONS: JAZZY ARTIST (5), TARIN KOWT (1), SHERIFF JUJON (2), ROCKNROLL AMBER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JAZZY ARTIST (5) to win

RACE SIX

GINA MACH (9)
resumes from a freshen and had been meeting much stronger fields than she faces here. last start she worked hard in the run when fading off in a slick mile run by the smart LIS LINCOLN. A good winner 3 starts back when hitting the line strongly she can finish over the top.

LONG LEGS LOU (2) was buried away on the pegs last start and was never really a factor. Her run 4 starts back when 2nd up from a spell was a tidy effort and if she can be first to the pegs here will have the options and look to open her 3YO term.

SELECTIONS: GINA MACH (9), LONG LEGS LOU (2), ALWAYS A JEWEL (5), MIGHTY MONTANA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GINA MACH (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

HIGH CLOUD LASS (4) has been runner-up at her past 3 in succession now, the past 2 at AP. Last time out she worked her way to the front and was gripping on when grabbed on the post by ZAIRE DIVA. Still searching for her 1st win at Redcliffe, she can roll forward to lead them up and can cash-in.

GALAXY HUNTER (5) was able to find the front off the 30m impost last start before releasing for the trail and ran home in good order to finish 9m from STEVES STAR. That followed a tidy effort against the pacers and with a safe beginning he can challenge in this.

SELECTIONS: HIGH CLOUD LASS (4), GALAXY HUNTER (5), MAPLE CROWN (1), JUSTABITCOCO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH CLOUD LASS (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

CHEVRONS DELIGHT (6)
will be fitter again following his 2nd race start following a 2 year stint off the race scene. Starting from gate 3 at AP last start he cut the breeze and returned a strong effort to hold on for the bronze behind MEANT TO BE ME when beaten 3m. Despite the gate he gets his chance to breakthrough.

BETTOR WATCH HIM (7) makes his Qld debut for trainer Murray Thomas and will be first up since January when finishing 2nd at Penrith when hitting the line in good order, beaten 2m. Not seen at the trials he stays under a market watch and from the gate can be away from the pegs early if need be.

SELECTIONS: CHEVRONS DELIGHT (6), BETTOR WATCH HIM (7), WAVEDANCER (2)
SUGGESTED BET:
