RACE ONE

MONTANA BEACH (8)
will take good benefit from his latest run when 2nd up from a break. Taken back from gate 5 he was buried away along the markers and was attacking the line strongly to get within 2m of the handy MEANT TO BE ME. Despite the 2nd line he can round them up.

JANIES GOT A GUN (6) will strip fitter following her 1st Aust start at AP last time out which was also her 1st run in over 8 months. She found the line in good style and although she gets no favours from this gate will be right in the mix in this lineup.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA BEACH (8), JANIES GOT A GUN (6), VELOCE BELLA (4), TAFFY BOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTANA BEACH (8) to win

RACE TWO

THE FRAME (1) showed the benefit of 3 trials to sort his issues when sent to the post in red figures last start. Pressing forward to take control he was never in danger once finding the front. Provided he can balance up in time off the inside, if he can hold top, he can go back-to-back.

BUDDY BABCOCK (7) has placed at his past 2 starts here at Redcliffe over the 1780m and then last start over the 2040m. Last start he was angled to the pegs and ran home with the short-cuts to claim the silver behind BLUE EYED CREATION. He can take the last shot again.

SELECTIONS: THE FRAME (1), BUDDY BABCOCK (7), HOT DOGMA (8), COLADA RAINBOW (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Peg-line Trifecta 1/7/8

RACE THREE

SKYLARHAIN (2) will find this easier than last start when taking on a C1 Rising Stars final on Sat night from a tough 2nd line gate and running a respectable 4th to ONLY ONE PROMISE. Only 2m from the same winner in the heat run, she can stretch the 1 early and find position. She can take this.

LYNCHMAN (1) has been well beaten at his past 2 starts and has been a bit up and down with his performances in recent times. From this gate he gets his chance to hold the front early and with the available options he can turn his fortunes around.

SELECTIONS: SKYLARHAIN (2), LYNCHMAN (1), LUVU GRAZAELLA (7), BRONZE ECSTASY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  SKYLARHAIN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

BLUE EYED CREATION (4)
was 2nd up from a spell last start and received the perfect trail behind the leader and once he saw space he sprinted home for a nice win. Fitter for that outing and with this no harder than last time he can find position and finish over the top of them.

BLISSFULINFIDELITY (8) claimed the bronze in a Rising Stars final at AP last start when securing the trail from gate 1 and sprinting home once the gap arrived. His run in between the heat and the final was a tidy effort and despite the 2nd line he can issue a challenge in this.

SELECTIONS: BLUE EYED CREATION (4), BLISSFULINFIDELITY (8), MIDNIGHT BENDER (5), FLASHING GOOD TIME (1),
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

BIG BEAT (1) has faced the starter twice since returning from a spell and been runner-up in both. He worked hard in the run last start behind the tear-away winner BRONSKI MACKENZIE. He lands the good gate to take the early advantage and can open his 3YO season.

MAHALO (7) was 4th up from a break here last week when starting from gate 3 she was working home wide off the track to claim the bronze.  That followed 2 runs in stronger line-ups and with a cosy trip expected here she can chime in during the closing sprint.

SELECTIONS: BIG BEAT (1), MAHALO (7), GETINANHANGON (6), TELLELLA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG BEAT (1) to win

RACE SIX

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (2)
makes her Qld debut for Narissa McMullen and will be 1st up off a spell. Mixing her form when last in work, she was bet of the chasers behind a big winner 2 starts back and had 1 local trial to prepare, with her closing splits enough to suggest she is up to them in this.

JUST CALL ME GOOSE (5) can be forgiven for his last start when not entirely comfortable and fading off after working hard in the run. This is no harder than what he has been meeting and with even luck finding position can be in the mix in a wide-open event.

SELECTIONS: WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (2), JUST CALL ME GOOSE (5), SOPHIES PRIDE (9), JUST PIT BOSS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

SPLASH OF GOLD (2) added another minor placing to her record last week to make it 14 top 3 finishes in 18 starts for the season. Still searching for an elusive victory for the season, her lone win was a dead-heat. With good early speed she can be 1st to the pegs and with the options is right in this.

COAST WARNING (4) was fired off the gate last week when looking to find the front and 1st to the pegs had to release the pressure and take the trail. In a strongly run event he held on for the bronze behind the clear out winner MAJORDOIT. The 2040m start makes it tricky and his chances hinge on finding the front.

SELECTIONS: SPLASH OF GOLD (2), COAST WARNING (4), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (10), ROCKNROLL PROMISE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-10

RACE EIGHT

HE CAN TALK (1)
hasn’t been suited at his past 2 starts when landing 2nd line gates which doesn’t suit his pattern. 4 starts back he looked to take them all the way from this same gate and was only grabbed on the line to go under a neck. If able to pinch a panel in front, they will struggle catching him.

PARTY STARTER (7) worked hard in the run at AP 2 starts back and dug in well to hold the bronze behind the swooping winner MONUMENTAL. Working home wide off the track last start, she will get the perfect cosy trip and can issue the last challenge.

SELECTIONS: HE CAN TALK (1), PARTY STARTER (7), WEASEL (8), ROYAL TAZ (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HE CAN TALK (1) to win
