FORM ANALYSIS BY DARREN CLAYTON - @DASHMAN01

Speed maps are based on recent and anticipated racing patterns. For important changes of tactics which may affect the accuracy of this speed map follow @QRICstewards on Twitter.

RACE ONE

MAESTRO MAC (5)
will be fitter following 1 run back from a spell and despite the wide gate can look to capitalise here. Sent to the front from gate 4 when resuming he was grabbed in the closing stages. His last campaign was strong when placing 4 times without seeing the front row and he is up to this.

ZED EXPRESS (2) has finished 3rd at each of his past 2 starts the most recent when still a long way from the winner DARBY BRIGHTS. After 4 runs back from a break, he should be getting close to a fitness peak and from the gate can look to fire the first shot and can go close.

SELECTIONS: MAESTRO MAC (5), ZED EXPRESS (2), SHAKEITUP (1), MONTANA BEACH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAESTRO MAC (5) to win

RACE TWO

MATRON JUJON (4) was a nice debut winner when starting from the 2nd line she found running line position and was able to finish over the top. With the experience and natural progression from that run, she can look to find position and once again take the closing shot to victory.

ONYA DOUG (2) started fav last start from gate 6 when 2nd up from a long break. Not entirely comfortable on the triangle he did have excuses. His first-up run was a tidy effort behind the smart LUCKY UNLUCKY and if able to find the pegs here will give them something to catch.

SELECTIONS: MATRON JUJON (4), ONYA DOUG (2), REACTOR ONE (1), HEADWIN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7

RACE THREE

BALTIC BLUE EYES (2) started from gate 4 last start and worked across but the lead was not on offer and she was forced to cut the breeze which led to her fading late. Only 3m from MEANT TO BE ME at AP 2 starts back she can light the lamps here and if able to pinch a panel will take some catching.

MINI MIRACLE (1) found the speed a bit too slick last start when sitting in the pocket trail and the leader kicked away in a 55.1 closing 800m. 4 starts back she hot the line nicely from back in the pack and with a cosy trip from the gate will be ready to issue the closing challenge.

SELECTIONS: BALTIC BLUE EYES (2), MINI MIRACLE (1), WEASEL (9), FLASHING GOOD TIME (10)
SUGGESTED BET:  BALTIC BLUE EYES (2) to win

RACE FOUR

THE FRAME (9)
completed the hat-trick last start when proving too tough for the fav BIG BEAT when sitting outside him and putting him away to score a 5m victory. Starting to put his manners and issues behind him, he was been in great touch and showing good improvement. He is up to the task.

LYNCHMAN (3) was sent forward from gate 5 last start and was able to find the front and once in control kept them chasing to score victory by a head. That was a nice turn around in his fortunes after struggling for a breakthrough. With a dip for the front, his chances will increase if leading.

SELECTIONS: THE FRAME (9), LYNCHMAN (3), MANY DELIGHTS (2), SOPHIES PRIDE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE FRAME (9) to win

RACE FIVE

FALCON VISTA (3) was beaten a head here 3 starts back after coming with a late challenge to fall just short. He followed that with another silver when using the passing lane to claim 2nd behind BRONZE ECSTASY. He has the speed to find the pegs and with even luck he can look to dictate terms.

LYKA VERSION (2) was an all the way Albion Park winner 3 starts back when holding the chasing pack off to claim a 1660m victory.  Last start she was buried away in the pegs and hit the line strongly to finish 2nd. She can be 1st to the pegs and will have options.

SELECTIONS: FALCON VISTA (3), LYKA VERSION (2), MIDNIGHT BENDER (5), TIME TRAVELLER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FALCON VISTA (3) to win

RACE SIX

RUATO BAY (1)
has been struggling to land a marble and been no closer than gate 7 at his past 6 starts. His past 4 runs have also been in strong company and with the benefit of the gate he has the options here and can look to capitalise.

PALE BEAR BOO (5) is right in the zone here on the triangle and has 5 wins in his past 7 with the other 2 runs returning 2nd placing. He went straight to the front off gate 2 last start and was never in danger and he can give this a big shake.

SELECTIONS: RUATO BAY (1), PALE BEAR BOO (5), ROCKNROLL AMBER (2), JUSTA DALE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE SEVEN

OSCARS GLORY (1) secured the pocket trail over this trip 3 starts back when finishing a 3.5m 3rd to ELMAUR JOY. Not suited when working in the run 2 starts back and then last start off the 2nd line dented his hopes. From the ace he will be in perfect position and can dictate or trail.

OUR BUSCEMI (3) has claimed the bronze at his past 3 in succession and has been running well on the Sat night circuit in recent starts. Beaten 4m behind KARLOO MAC in a qualifier 2 starts back when closing strongly he can roll forward here and apply the heat.

SELECTIONS: OSCARS GLORY (1), OUR BUSCEMI (3), XTRAORDINARY LOMBO (5), CALCAVADO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OSCARS GLORY (1) to win
