RACE TWO

THE SHADY ONE (10) took on a small field last start and was away from the pegs early to find the 1x1 trail before sprinting sharply to claim a stylish win in slick closing fractions. Forget his previous start where he was fired up in the preliminary, this is easier and he can swoop home to score again.

IM FREE FALLING (2) made a mess of the start here 3 starts back in terrible weather conditions but soon reset and was sent forward to take control and go home to score a strong win. Banished to the outside draw as a result, his past 2 have been sound and back into the main draw will fight hard.

ZARAS DELIGHT (9) sat back off a strong tempo over the 2138m trip last start after retreating from gate 7 and arrived with a well-judged sprint to score. Following through early she can feature.

OUTLAW FELLA (7) was able to find the pegs here on Wed and once in control was too strong to hold on for a half-neck victory in a solid mile. The gate hurts but he won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: THE SHADY ONE (10), IM FREE FALLING (2), ZARAS DELIGHT (9), OUTLAW FELLA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE SHADY ONE (10) to win

RACE THREE

SKYFELLA CAM (5) landed the ace last start and firing out early looked to take them all the way over the sprint trip as the red figure fav. Wore-down in the latter stages he was 1.5m from the winner. His run 4 starts back was a tidy effort from gate 6 at Redcliffe and in an open contest he can cash-in.

OFFICIANADO (10) might have some ordinary numbers next to his name but he should appreciate this class of contest compared to what he has been meeting recently. Down the line behind the airborne TOM ME GUN last start, he just needs the right strike of luck to issue a challenge here.

JUSTA DALE (4) started from the 2nd line last start and worked home well in a strong 1780m trip at Redcliffe. From the gate he can look to settle handy and has podium claims.

EARL JUJON (8) had little luck last time out and couldn’t find position which saw him snagged back and out of play. He will need some luck from this alley but can probe for an opening to place.

SELECTIONS: SKYFELLA CAM (5), OFFICIANADO (10), JUSTA DALE (4), EARL JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

SMILING ARMADA (2)
claimed a similar race when able to find the front from gate 4 and lead throughout over this trip 7 starts back. Since that win he has placed twice with the latest when grabbed in the closing stages and beaten a head. He can find the pegs and look to hold on.

GOODTIME STRIDE (5) is a last start Redcliffe winner when starting from gate 5 she worked home over the top to claim a strong victory over the sprint trip. Finding the line strongly here 3 starts back when 3rd to ONLY IN ROME, she can look to get into the contest and issue the challenge.

MAJORDOIT (10) is on the back-up from Thurs where he faced a tougher line-up than this from gate 6. His run 2 starts back was solid when beaten a neck by JUMOING JOLT and he can feature here.

LANCELOT BROMAC (9) used the passing lane to grab the silver behind SPRING CAMPIGN here on Wed. That followed a luckless run from gate 7 and in this class of contest he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SMILING ARMADA (2), GOODTIME STRIDE (5), MAJORDOIT (10), LANCELOT BROMAC (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SMILING ARMADA (2) to win

RACE FIVE

ARGYLE BEACH (8) resumes from a break and should secure the perfect trip for a fresh run. Posing a superb AP record where she has been in the top-3 at 18 of 22 appearances, her latest start was a fast closing 3rd when 2m from SLICE OF HEAVEN. Sweating on getting to the lane she will sprint hard.

CLINTAL DO (10) shoots for the hat-trick following a fast-finishing run over the 2138m where he swept past them to claim a 7m victory. That followed a tough win at Inverell where he demolished his rivals to claim the 3rd track record of his career. He will be swooping hard down the outside.

NUI TOC TIEN (9) hast been far away of late despite really threatening. His run here 2 starts back was a tidy effort when 6m from MACH ALERT and with the pegs a good option can look for short-cuts.

ITS JUST KENNY (1) found the running line from gate 6 last start and tracked home well to grab the bronze behind ZARAS DELIGHT. He can hustle early to hold the poles and will be fighting hard.

SELECTIONS: ARGYLE BEACH (8), CLINTAL DO (10), NUI TOC TIEN (9), ITS JUST KENNY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-8-9-10

RACE SIX

OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (4)
bounced back to winning form last start when 2nd up from a break. Working away from the pegs to find the 1x1 trail he was able to finish over the top and claim a 1m victory. With brilliant early speed he can look to take control and from the front be hard to stop.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1) is racing well without reward of late and from the alley will get his chance to fire the closing shot. Buried in the run last start he was charging home to be 3m from the winner ZARAS DELIGHT. He won’t have to spend a penny to maintain his position and can challenge.

ZAC MAC (2) is nearing a win in the right race and from this alley should secure a nice run in transit. He found the line strongly last start when only beaten 2m and has podium claims here.

BELLS BEACH HOUSE (8) led them up from gate 1 last week and went down swinging when only beaten a half-neck. Likely to be buried in the run he will be probing for the openings to place.

SELECTIONS: OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (4), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1), ZAC MAC (2), BELLS BEACH HOUSE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

OUR BONDI BEACH (8) will need some factors in his favour here but he follows out a smart beginner and if hitting the passing lane with momentum can arrive for the prize. He found the line in good style last start after retreating from gate 7 behind TOM ME GUN and is worth the risk here.

GOTTA GOOD REASON (9) worked hard in the run last start after rolling forward to face the breeze outside TOM ME GUN and felt the pinch in the latter stages in a slick 1.52.2 mile. His previous 2 were from the outside draw following a barrier indiscretion and with even luck should appreciate this.

CIRCLE LINE (1) runs the gate and will be looking to protect the pegs here. Taken back last start from gate 5 he closed out in good order which followed a tidy effort after being stung early.

MACHEASY (3) was a winner of a similar style race here 4 starts back when set alight to find the pegs and take control. This is his best gate for some time and a forward showing can be expected.

SELECTIONS: OUR BONDI BEACH (8), GOTTA GOOD REASON (9), CIRCLE LINE (1), MACHEASY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR BONDI BEACH (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

CALLMEQUEENBEE (10)
controlled the race from the breeze last week and was able to rip home a sub 27 panel to land a 3m victory. That made it successive wins in tough style over the mile trip and while she steps out of mares company and faces gate 10, she should still be too strong.

CRACKA STRIDE (4) was last of 6 over the mile at his last start but that came against a stronger field than he will face here and the run still had merit. He found the line in good style here 2 starts back and with the chance that he might be able to find the front, he can be in for the fight.

GASMONKEY (2) was working home wide off the track last start and kept grinding away when the winner secured the passing lane run. That followed a tidy 3rd and from the gate will be fighting.

ROCKNROLL EMMA (6) has been in the money at her past 6 in succession with the latest when working home out wide and getting within a half-head of victory. Despite the gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: CALLMEQUEENBEE (10), CRACKA STRIDE (4), GASMONKEY (2), ROCKNROLL EMMA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CALLMEQUEENBEE (10) to win

RACE NINE

ALLELUIA (2)
has faced the starter on 4 occasions since resuming from a break and this is his best gate since returning. Forget his run 2 back where he was put out of play, his run last week from gate 5 was a real eye-catcher when savaging the line late. With the improved gate he gets his chance.

LILAC FLASH (5) has had 2 starts in the open class ranks and has shown that he deserves to have joined the fold. He closed out strongly last start from gate 4 when finishing 5.5m from the winner GLENFERRIE HOOD. He started fav at his 1st foray into FFA company and will be swooping hard.

GLENFERRIE HOOD (7) made the most of an improved gate here last week when able to pounce on the pegs and take control from the front. He moves back to the outside but can still challenge.

MANDY KRIDEN (1) should enjoy the cosy trip against the pegs and is racing well as she has progressed through the grades. Only 3m in arrears last start when charging home, she can place.

SELECTIONS: ALLELUIA (2), LILAC FLASH (5), GLENFERRIE HOOD (7), MANDY KRIDEN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLELUIA (2) to win

RACE TEN

SPUD (2)
was poorly away here 2 starts back but was still closing out strongly in a nice closing 400m at the end of the 2647m trip. He wasn’t far away last time out and with the benefit of moving to the front line after coming from the 10m tape in recent starts, he looks to get his chance to capitalise.

GEE UP NEDDY (9) worked his way to the front from the 10m here 2 starts back and looked to have the 1st prize cheque spent when he lost concentration with just 40m to travel and broke stride. He found the line nicely last start and back over the longer trip will challenge.

QUIETLY SPOKEN (11) is in great touch and last week was game in the breeze in a slick last 800m when holding on for 2nd behind NEEDLE. Despite there being some traffic in front, she can feature.

OUR OVERANOVA (13) started fav and closed out strongly when finishing a game 1m 2nd to QUIETLY SPOKEN 2 start back. Better suited at the longer trip than last start over the 2138m he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SPUD (2), GEE UP NEDDY (9), QUIETLY SPOKEN (11), OUR OVERANOVA (13)
SUGGESTED BET: SPUD (2) to win

RACE ELEVEN

PAY ME INTEREST (11)
has the tough gate to negotiate but this mare is flying and has been runner-up at her past 2 starts including behind JOSSIE JAMES in a mares qualifier similar to this where she started from gate 7. Looking for the tempo to be too hot up-front look for her swooping hard.

BIG IN AMERICA (2) looks to get all the favours from the gate and with good early speed off the arm will be looking to dictate. A last start winner at Redcliffe in restricted company, she led throughout over the sprint course in slick time. Her only danger can be herself going too hard in front.

TASSINI (9) was closing out in good order last start after snagging back from gate 7 in a slick closing panel set from the front by CALLMEQUEENBEE. Following through early she can attack late.

CHARLYSE (10) is racing well without much luck at the marble drop and lands another 2nd line gate. From gate 6 here 2 starts back she found the line strongly and with a cart home can feature.

SELECTIONS: PAY ME INTEREST (11), BIG IN AMERICA (2), TASSINI (9), CHARLYSE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: PAY ME INTEREST (11) to win
