RACE TWO

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (2) returns from a spell after being sent for a break when her form tapered last campaign. Her run 4 starts back was a tidy effort from gate 4 when working early to get forward to the breeze in a strong opening panel. With good early speed she can look to make a winning return.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (4) landed a handy position in the running line from a 2nd line gate here last start over the sprint trip and was able to finish over the top to claim a tidy victory. Grabbed in the closing stages here when finding the front from gate 5, she has enough early speed to have a look.

FALCON VISTA (6) isn’t ideally suited from this alley but at his best would be a factor against these opponents. Too far back last time out when snagging back from this same gate, he can place.

OMINOUS FLYER (5) will take some benefit from his latest outing when resuming from a freshen. Angling to the markers he was looking for short-cuts and with even luck has podium hopes here.

SELECTIONS: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (2), FLASHING GOOD TIME (4), FALCON VISTA (6), OMINOUS FLYER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (2) to win

RACE THREE

ALOT OF COST (1) returns from a spell after facing the starter on 8 occasions last campaign and placing in 6 of those. Beaten in red figures at his last start he worked home well for the bronze after staring from gate 4. He can hold the lead and with very little outside pressure can take this.

RANCHO MAN (7) will be glued to the helmet of the 1 for the cosy trip and will be awaiting the passing lane ready to offer. He kicks off his 3YO term in this after a win and 2 minors from 8 outings at his freshman season with the win an impressive all the way effort. The soft trip suits at his return.

GIVE ME A GO (3) made the most of conditions here 2 starts back and with the easy run in the pocket trail scored a narrow victory. Working wide off the track last start he has place hopes in this.

IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (6) doesn’t have many favours from this alley but should appreciate this class of opposition after all 4 starts for the term have been at AP in stronger company. Look for a sharper effort.

SELECTIONS: ALOT OF COST (1), RANCHO MAN (7), GIVE ME A GO (3), IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALOT OF COST (1) to win

RACE FOUR

MY ULTIMATE SPORT (8)
kicks off his 3YO term and has changed stables during the break and lines up for Wayne Graham for the first time here. Placed in 3 of his 6 appearances during his 2YO season he led them up at his final outing when grabbed near the line. Trialling well, this looks within reach.

POINT OH FIVE (5) will take good benefit from his latest run when resuming from for the term. Sent to the front from gate 2 over this trip he set a steady tempo with his condition just fading in the closing stages to be 4m from the winner. The gate makes it tricky but he can bounce back here.

MALIBU DREAM (3) returned to the Peter Donohoe barn last start where she landed the pocket trail and was 2m from the winner OVERTHEMOON. With good early speed she can be prominent in this.

RUM AND SCHOTZ (2) made the most of a cosy trip here 3 starts back and chased home soundly behind MOLLY MONTANA. He can settle close to the speed here to give him podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE SPORT (8), POINT OH FIVE (5), MALIBU DREAM (3), RUM AND SCHOTZ (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE SPORT (8) to win

RACE FIVE

ELLIOTT BROMAC (5) faces a sticky gate here but the small field and added race fitness might be enough to sway things in his favour in this tricky little contest. Strong from the breeze last start from gate 2 he was in for the fight and his run 3 back was a tidy effort. He is worth a chance in an open race.

WILLSINTOWN (1) has blistering early speed which opens the options from the inside alley. Finding the pegs 1st prior to releasing for the trail last week he faded late over the 2280m trip. Not beaten far behind DESTINY WARRIOR last time he took on the sprint trip, he will be right in the fight.

THE GOLDEN CROSS (4) pressed forward from gate 6 last start to cut the breeze and dug in when holding 4th behind the smart RED CHARMER. He will get amongst it from this gate and wont be far away.

COMIGAL (7) has the options as the lone 2nd line runner but sticking to the poles will get the economical trip and can be ready to offer late. She found the line nicely last start and has place claims.

SELECTIONS: ELLIOTT BROMAC (5), WILLSINTOWN (1), THE GOLDEN CROSS (4), COMIGAL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ELLIOTT BROMAC (5) to win

RACE SIX

BIG IN AMERICA (1)
should find this an easier assignment compared to recent outings and with the benefit of her gate speed and the inside alley she looks to get conditions to suit. Finding the front from gate 7 last start she burnt too hard over the unsuitable 2138m and she will give them a target.

JUSTA DALE (9) is another facing a class drop to take on this and if able to find any sort of luck in transit he can throw down the challenge. Mid-field last start behind the in-form PACIFIC DRUMS his previous start can be ignored when striking trouble. If close enough he can be dangerous.

ELMS CREEK (4) was taken back last start from gate 5 and was then facing a task with all the power coming in the closing stages. He found the line well the start prior and settling handy can feature.

EPIRUS BOY (8) was locked away on the pegs from inside the 2nd line last start and hit the line well for the bronze. That followed a close-up effort and sighting space will be charging late.

SELECTIONS: BIG IN AMERICA (1), JUSTA DALE (9) ELMS CREEK (4), EPIRUS BOY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG IN AMERICA (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

WATTLEBANK FLYER (5) ended up a long way back in the pack from gate 3 over the AP 2138m last start and when he was trying to make a run was held up when he need to be letting down. There was plenty to like about how he attacked the line when the gap arrived and he can swoop home here.

DESTINY WARRIOR (9) arrived in time to land victory in a qualifier 2 starts back and followed that with a run from gate 1 in claiming company. Taking the trail on COMPLY OR DIE in that race he chased hard but was well beaten. Back to this class he can bounce back and is right in the mix.

ITS ALL GO (3) has good early speed and hasn’t been too far away in this grade of claiming race in recent starts. Strong from the breeze last start from gate 6 he can get forward and in the money.

BLUE EYED CREATION (1) lands the options from the gate and will appreciate the improved gate after starting from the 2nd line his past 2. He fought hard for the silver last time he was able to lead and can feature.

SELECTIONS: WATTLEBANK FLYER (5), DESTINY WARRIOR (9), ITS ALL GO (3), BLUE EYED CREATION (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WATTLEBANK FLYER (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

ZED CODE (2)
started from the 2nd line last start and worked home well wide off the track to grab the silver when 4m from the winner. That followed a tough run from the breeze when mid-field and settling handy to the speed can look to power over the top to score.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (9) started fav here last start over the 2040m trip and covered plenty of the triangle when trying to find position in the run. That took its toll and saw him fade in the latter stages. His run 2 starts back over the AP 2138m trip was strong and with even luck can challenge.

KYLIE BROMAC (5) has been freshened since her last appearance when 2nd up from a break. Stuck wide from gate 4 she was a long way back when trying to work into the race. That followed a tidy 1st up win over the sprint trip and she can be thereabouts.

ARBIT MAJOR (10) rolled to the breeze from gate 7 last start over the AP mile and was in for the fight when 4m from the winner LIFES BLACK. The gate hurts but with the right cart home will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ZED CODE (2), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (9), KYLIE BROMAC (5), ARBIT MAJOR (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-5-9-10
