The 2019 Magic Millions QTIS March Sale is just around the corner and the question is already being asked what future star will go under the hammer?

The Magic Millions March sale has seen the purchase of Queensland Group 1 winners, Buffering and Spirit Of Boom as well as former star sprinter Winning Rupert.

Last year, top Brisbane trainer Chris Munce bought Boomsara who turned out to be one of the State’s best two-year-olds last season before going on to win the $2 million Magic Millions Guineas at the Gold Coast in January.

The QTIS March sale is regarded by many Queensland and interstate trainers as one of the best value sales in the country.

The two-day sale will be conducted on Monday March 18 and will see 392 lots go under the hammer.

Buyers will have the added incentive of a 33% discount on the Magic Millions Race Series nomination fee to be eligible for the $11 million plus suite of graduate races held in six states.

In a further boost for buyers a record 91 lots are NSW BOBS eligible.

The sale will feature a combined 79 lots catalogued by boom Queensland sires, Better Than Ready and Spirit Of Boom.

Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch will oversee his second March sale following his appointment in October, 2017.

Bowditch was a former bloodstock manager at Magic Millions and has been instrumental in Magic Millions rise to fame in the Australian breeding industry.

“Last year we recorded a record sale and the stock in Queensland has improved,” Bowditch said.

“The industry is continuing to improve with the better prizemoney on offer so there’s probably no better time than now to buy a yearling."
