RACE TWO

COURAGEOUS LEO (1) has been in the money at his past 5 in succession including a win under similar circumstances to what looks likely to unfold in this 2 starts back. Taking the trail, he finished best up the passing lane in scoring by 4m. Last start over 2138m he was again using the passing lane when 1 m from the winner BULL MARKET. He can fire the closing shot.

COMPLY OR DIE (2) set the pace last start but wasn't suited over the middle-distance trip fading to be 8m from the winner. Leading them up over the mile when starting in red figures here 2 starts back, he was nabbed in the closing stages. Using his early speed, he can fire out and will be gripping on in the stretch.

BULL MARKET (7) showed the benefit of two runs back from a spell since re-joining the Turpin barn when finishing over the top of them last time to score a smart win. Luckless the start prior he will be charging again here.

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9) drops back to claiming company and despite the second line gate is certainly up to this. Back in the pack 2 starts ago behind KID MONTANA he was then buried away last start. He is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS LEO (1), COMPLY OR DIE (2), BULL MARKET (7), LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS LEO (1) to win

RACE THREE

ALBION ARK (2) eased back from gate 5 last start over the mile and then didn't receive the cleanest passage when down the line behind LORD DIGBY. 2 starts prior he was hitting the line strongly from a long way back after easing from gate 7. With the improved alley he looks to get his chance.

THE MONEY BALL (6) should be approaching a fitness peak now that he has faced the starter 4 times since resuming from a spell. Last start from gate 6 he eased back for position and then couldn't find clear running when down the track behind GRIZZLY MONTANA. The gate hurts but he can chime in.

HIGH ON MONTANA (8) was well supported last start in a perseverance over the 2138m. Settling in the running line he was making a closing dive and was only beaten a pimple. Needing some luck, he will be probing.

WHERES TASCOTT (1) was wide off the track last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip and fought on strongly when only 1m from the winner. Runner up at 3 of her past 4, she has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: ALBION ARK (2), THE MONEY BALL (6), HIGH ON MONTANA (8), WHERES TASCOTT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ALBION ARK (2) to win

RACE FOUR

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (3)
returns from a New South Wales Oaks campaign where she progressed to the final after finishing 4th in her heat behind eventual final winner STYLISH MEMPHIS. Eased to the pegs she ended up buried away in the final but was hitting the line in good style. If PELOSI is vulnerable 1st up, she can look to exploit it.

PELOSI (7) was crowned the Qld 2YO of the year last season and makes her long awaited track return. Last seen back in June when claiming the G1 NSW Breeders Challenge final she has opened the pipes in nice style for her return. The gate is a stinger 1st up, but her class can take her along way here.

MISS MONEYBAGS (1) made an error last start and ended up back in the pack as a beaten favourite. Wide off the track the start prior when resuming from a break the gate is a big plus here.

AMAYA BECOMES (2) was sent to the pegs to look for a cheap run last start at Redcliffe when buried a long way back. A winner on the triangle 3 starts ago she is a place chance in this.

SELECTIONS: A RAINBOW DELIGHT (3), PELOSI (7), MISS MONEYBAGS (1), AMAYA BECOMES (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

HARD TO HEAR (6) is racing in arguably career best form and hasn't been far away at his past 2 starts which have followed a hat trick of victories including wins in Saturday night company. Easing back from gate five last start he was attacking the line strongly and despite another tough gate here, there might be enough tempo to see him power home late.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1) had no luck last start from gate 4 over the 2138m trip when stuck wide off the track and forced to restrain. Under the circumstances it was a nice run when not far from the winner BETTOR TO BE TRICKY. 3rd here 2 starts back in a tidy effort, he will get a perfect trip in this.

STOMPEM (5) started to put it all together last campaign finishing in the top 3 at his last 6 outings in succession. Taking them all the way last start he has trialled nicely in readiness for his return.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (4) faded in the latter stages last start as the favourite although only 9m from the winner INNOCENT CROCKER. With speed to burn off the arm she will be firing the early bullets.

SELECTIONS: HARD TO HEAR (6), PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1), STOMPEM (5), COLOMBIAN GOLD (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HARD TO HEAR (6) to win

RACE SIX

TRUE STEPPER (7) settled back in the pack from her 2nd line gate last start and at one stage was a long way out of the ground. Hitting the line strongly to be within a half-neck of the winner it was a nice effort. Taking benefit from the run after being freshened following her 2nd up demolition when scoring by 21m, she is set to bounce back.

SIR JUJON (9) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when finishing 9m from WHITEHAVEN LASS. That followed an all the way win over the mile from gate 2 and while he strikes a sticky gate off the 2nd line here, with the right run in transit he can look to issue the challenge.

CROWN MOJO (8) made a winning return to his 4YO term and securing the perfect trip in the pocket trail finished best to score over the mile. Wide off the track last start at his first look over the longer trip he should appreciate conditions here.

BEAUDACIOUS (5) started from inside the second line last time and chased gamely when within 2m of the winner. With his past 3 runs off the 2nd line, a return to the front will be a big bonus.

SELECTIONS: TRUE STEPPER (7), SIR JUJON (9), CROWN MOJO (8), BEAUDACIOUS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TRUE STEPPER (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

EL SWAVO (6) was cleanly into stride last start over this trip from his 30m tape. Pressing on to find the front he was trying to fight them off when fading in the closing strides to be 8m from the winner NORAHS FLING. Holding on for 2nd when leading them up the start prior, he can utilise his good manners and look to arrive for the prize.

ONE MUSCLE HILL (9) has started to put it together and has placed in 2 of his past 3 attempts. Settling in the running line last start he worked home in good order when 6m in arrears. 3 starts back he made an early error but reset to chase hard and if he can get things right here can throw down the challenge.

SHEGOTSASS (1) was cleanly away, albeit a little slowly last start but still had enough pace to hold the early advantage. Releasing to use the passing lane she grabbed the silver in a nice 2nd up effort. With the added fitness and experience she can be thereabouts.

HIGH CLOUD LASS (3) resumes from a break and comes into this without a preparatory trial. Last seen at Marburg back in October when wide off the track, if forward enough, she has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: EL SWAVO (6), ONE MUSCLE HILLE (9), SHEGOTSASS (1), HIGH CLOUD LASS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: EL SWAVO (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

GREG THE GREAT (8) will take good benefit from his latest run here on Tuesday when 1st up from a break. Safely away from his 30m strand he was hitting the line nicely to be within 3m of the winner MAYBETOTHEMAX. With a good record at the mobile trip he can work off the inside early as the lone 2nd line runner and power over the top to victory.

ALS LAW (4) was runner up here 2 starts back over the mobile trip after firing off the arm and then releasing. Chasing hard to be within 5 m of the in-form MONORAIL it had followed a 3rd to JUSTABITNOISY in Sat night company. With his early speed he can secure a prominent position to challenge here.

NORAHS FLING (1) was buried away last start off the 40m impost and when angled into clear space attacked the line strongly for a smart victory. That followed a nice 2nd to SKYLINE and from the gate she is in the mix.

LAVROS TEXAS (5) was locked away on the fence last start and closed nicely when 8m from the winner MONORAIL. A good 2nd here 2 starts back, he has been kept fresh this campaign and starts for just the 4th time since the start of the year.

SELECTIONS: GREG THE GREAT (8), ALS LAW (4), NORAHS FLING (1), LAVROS TEXAS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GREG THE GREAT (8) to win
