RACE TWO

ITSMEGS (4) pressed forward from gate 4 here last start and had a dip for the front before holding up and looking for running line cover. Closing strongly she grabbed the bronze behind the handy RUTHREBO. Only rundown close to the line 2 starts back, she can take an early shot and gets her chance.

ADRIFT (2) returns from a break and steps out for his 1st 3YO appearance. A winner at his final 2YO start in the Triad Consolation when holding on to score by 4m, he has trialled twice to prepare for his return and if forward enough will loom as a big danger here.

MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (8) will have the option to look to get away from the pegs early if needed as the lone 2nd line runner. His return run behind COREY WILLIAM 3 starts back was a solid effort and at his past 2 has just been too far back. He can be an improver.

PARKLANE LASS (7) has the tough gate to negotiate here yet is in good touch with a Redcliffe win 3 starts back when leading all the way. She will need some factors to go in her favour yet can be steaming home late.

SELECTIONS: ITSMEGS (4), ADRIFT (2), MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (8), PARKLANE LASS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ITSMEGS (4) to win

RACE THREE

WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (2) will be further tightened from her latest outing when 2nd up from a break and looing to take them all the way over the 2138m led deep into the stretch before being grabbed on the post. With good early speed she can go straight to the pegs and fight them off.

SKYLARHAIN (9) took them all the way at Marburg 2 starts back and ran home a strong closing 800m, with subsequent AP winner HEEZ PERFECT finishing 3rd. Holding on for the bronze last start she can enjoy a nice trail through in the early stages and be looking to issue a closing challenge.

TRAVELNFAST (6) opened her Qld account last start when finishing over the top to score a Marburg victory. Grabbed in the latter stages at Redcliffe 2 starts back, she can go on with it here.

ELZBOY (5) led all the way 2 starts back at Marburg to score a handy win. Finding the front last start he released the pressure and held on for the bronze behind ARK PATROL and COREY WILLIAM. He won’t be far away here.

SELECTIONS: WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (2), SKYLARHAIN (9), TRAVELNFAST (6), ELZBOY (5)
SUGGESTED BET:  WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (2) to win

RACE FOUR

STYLISH FEELING (6)
has a tough gate to overcome but has been racing well without getting the rewards. Beaten a nose 4 starts back, her run in the Triad Final was a good effort behind the classy ELENIARK. Working too hard to get forward in a strong 2138m last start she will appreciate the drop to the mile and is worth a ticket in a wide-open contest.

HOW WE ROLL (12) started from gate 10 at Redcliffe 2 starts back and working home wide off the track was too strong for his opponents. He worked hard in the breeze last start when mid-field behind WHERES THE SPIRIT, he will need some factors in his favour here but can feature.

ZED CODE (10) had the pocket trail last start in a strongly run contest behind SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW. She hit the line in good style in the mares Triad 2 starts back and can be storming home late here.

MAESTRO MAC (3) will be better suited here after starting from the 2nd line at his past 3 in succession. Only 11m from RUHTREBO last start he can take the advantage from the gate and will be right in the firing line here.

SELECTIONS: STYLISH FEELING (6), HOW WE ROLL (12), ZED CODE (10), MAESTRO MAC (3)
SUGGESTED BET: STYLISH FEELING (6) each-way

RACE FIVE

INCITER (8) will be looking for some factors to go his way but with the right run in transit can look to take the closing shot. Forced to race tough last start he fought to the wire over the 1780m at Redcliffe and was only beaten a nose. Placed at his past 3 starts, he can be poised for the strike.

BUDDY BABCOCK (1) found the front last start at Redcliffe from gate 1 and made an error ending his chances. A Winner 3 starts back ending 7 successive placed runs, he has made errors at his past 2. With the speed to keep them wide he can turn it around again.

ZALTA (10) was 1st up for the Mitch Dawson stable at Marburg on Sat and scored a tough win after doing his share of work and running strong time on the tight track. The gate makes it tricky but building off the Marburg win he is right in this.

BETTOR WATCH HIM (5) will be tightened from his latest run when 3rd up from a break. Setting the early speed in the race won by ZALTA, he can press ahead to find a handy position here and will be fighting on.

SELECTIONS: INCITER (8), BUDDY BABCOCK (1), ZALTA (10), BETTOR WATCH HIM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: INCITER (8) to win

RACE SIX

GOVINNI (5) has been freshened since his last outing when leading all the way from gate 1 and holding on to score by a head. That followed a 2nd behind GET IN THE GROOVE after a string of 2nd line gates. He can take the early shot here and will be looking to hold on.

CALCAVADO (3) ticked up another minor placing last start to keep his consistent season rolling on. Settling back in the pack from the 2nd line he found the line in good order behind MR MEDDLE. He can find good position from this gate and can add another minor to his tally.

JAZZY ARTIST (4) started from gate 6 last start and did a mountain of work when pressing ahead to the breeze over the 2138m trip in strong opening sectionals. A winner of a similar race to this 3 starts back she cannot be discounted.

ELMAUR JOY (1) looked to take them all the way at Redcliffe last start from gate 3 over the 2040m trip when rundown. She gets the options here and back to the mile suits. Look for an improved effort.

SELECTIONS: GOVINNI (5), CALCAVADO (3), JAZZY ARTIST (4), ELMAUR JOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

ONE MANS PASS (8) will strip fitter following 1 run back from a long break where he was angled to the pegs from gate 3 and was too far back over the 2138m trip to issue a challenge in the closing stages. A winner over this trip 4 starts back, he can get a cosy trip and take an open contest.

THE FRAME (7) has had 4 starts at AP and yet to land a cheque. Freshened since last seen when proving too strong from the 5-hole at Redcliffe and cutting the breeze to score by a half-neck, he can look to build on his last prep that saw him record 5 wins in his past 7 starts.

GLENFERRIE DUSTER (10) found the line in good order here 2 starts back when grabbing the silver behind SKYFELLA CAM. That followed successive Redcliffe wins. Forget his last start when making errors, he can turn it around here.

BUMPER (6) found the running line from gate 10 last start and was able to finish over the top of them at the end of the 2138m to score a 5m victory. His run behind COLT THIRTY ONE 2 starts back was good and he can give this a shake.

SELECTIONS: ONE MANS PASS (8), THE FRAME (7), GLENFERRIE DUSTER (10), BUMPER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE MANS PASS (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

NONE BETTOR (10)
was a winner 6 starts back when finding the front from gate 5 and holding on for the win. Placed at each of his next 5 starts, he was sent to the post as fav last start from gate 9 over the 2138m when holding on for the bronze behind BUMPER. He has been costly but back to the mile in this line-up he is worth another chance.

JANUARY (11) found her race last start at Redcliffe and from the 2nd line finished over the top to score an easy victory as a red figure fav. That followed some good runs including a luckless mid-field finish in the 4YO mares Triad behind ELENIARK. With even luck she will go close again.

OMINOUS FLYER (3) has been forced to work hard in the run at each of his past 2 starts and should be nearing a fitness peak now after 6 runs back from a long break. Only 2m last start he can feature.

OLIVER WINKLE (7) has placed in 3 of 4 starts since returning from a break, the latest in an Aspirational on Sat taken out by HEEZ PERFECT. He has no favours from this gate yet can still fill the exotics.

SELECTIONS: NONE BETTOR (10), JANUARY (11), OMINOUS FLYER (3), OLIVER WINKLE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 3-7-10-11
