RACE TWO

KATHLEEN GRACE (2) will strip fitter for her return to the track for her 3YO term when starting fav and trying to work home in the closing stages. Kept wide when looking for early position the run had merit and from the gate here can look to find the pegs and dictate terms.

OH STANLEY (5) was eating into the margin of the leader and winner 2 starts back and went within a nose of victory. Too far back of the 2nd line last start, this looks a slightly easier assignment and getting in on the action early can issue a challenge.

SISTER FEELGOOD (3) followed the cheap runs here 3 starts back to claim the bronze behind ITSMEGS. Mid-field behind OPONONIS BLISS in the Triad Consolation last start, she has claims.

BRIAN WHO (7) makes his Qld debut for the Lambourn yard and was last seen at Menangle when swooping home late to get within 2m of the winner. He needs plenty of luck from this gate but stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: KATHLEEN GRACE (2), OH STANLEY (5), SISTER FEELGOOD (3), BRIAN WHO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KATHLEEN GRACE (2) to win

RACE THREE

CURRUMBINKID (1) has placed in 2 runs since returning from a spell and been 5m from the winner in each after starting from the 2nd line on each occasion. While he can do things wrong, he has shown good improvement this prep and strikes a winnable contest here.

FRENCH DIVA (9) has just the 3 career starts to her name and has placed in all 3. Working home in good order from the 2nd line last start she was strong to the line to go under a head. Beaten no further than 3m at any of the 3 starts, she is right in the mix of this contest.
BARBIE MATTGREGOR (10) was tracking home in good style from this gate here last start and ran GRIZZLY MONTANA to 5m. That was an improved effort and building off that she can place here.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7) will be further tightened from his latest start when 2nd up from a break and found the line in the closing stages. With a cosy trip from this gate he has claims for the exotics.

SELECTIONS: CURRUMBINKID (1), FRENCH DIVA (9), BARBIE MATTGREGOR (10), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

CAMIVISTA (3)
has struggled to land a good alley in recent starts and his runs have been good under the circumstances. Sent forward from gate 5 here 2 starts back he was fighting it out in a slugging finish when 2nd to BETTING BARON. He gets every chance to end a 12 month winless streak.

SOPHIES PRIDE (1) has faced wide gates at her past 3 starts which have seen her looking to work home late and out wide. With the benefit of the inside gate she gets every chance to settle in a handy spot and can take the closing shot.

COAST WARNING (2) has changed stables and lines up for Simon Jay for the 1st time and was last seen when down the line behind WRITEABOUTCHELSEA. Possessing good early speed he can get forward here.

DOOLITTLE DOOFY (4) finished best to score a passing lane win here 2 starts back. Forced to track home from a wide gate last start he will be looking for space here and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: CAMIVISTA (3), SOPHIES PRIDE (1), COAST WARNING (2),  DOOLITTLE DOOFY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CAMIVISTA (3) to win

RACE FIVE

SLICE OF HEAVEN (5) will strip fitter from his 1st up run in Qld. Dragged back to avoid a pocket from inside the 2nd line he was trying to work home when the leader controlled the tempo. This is a much easier contest than last time out behind ARK PATROL and COREY WILLIAM and he can cash-in.

THE FORMULA ONE (6) has the wide gate to overcome and yet has been racing well for this type of assignment. Looking to take them all the way last start he was grabbed up the passing lane when beaten 1.5m. He took them all the way over the 2040m 4 starts back and has podium claims.

LEVI JADE (9) looked to have found his chance for a breakthrough last start and could only manage a 4th behind ITS ALL TORQUE. From a tricky gate if he can find early position he has place hopes in this.

ARCHIECANO (8) worked home in good order last start to grab the bronze behind HOW WE ROLL. He had been without much luck prior to that 3rd and with a handy trail here can feature in the placings.

SELECTIONS: SLICE OF HEAVEN (5), THE FORMULA ONE (6), LEVI JADE (9), ARCHIECANO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SLICE OF HEAVEN (5) to win

RACE SIX

NERIO (1)
will be 3rd up from a break and has shown good improvement following her 1st up run. Only 6m from KEY LARGO over the AP mile, she was hitting the line well when 1.5m from WHISKEY BLAZE last start. With the options from the gate, she looks to get every chance for another victory.

LUVU GRAZAELLA (2) was too far back in the pack when trying to make ground last start behind THE HARLEM HAMMER and finished well back. She closed out hard the start prior here on the triangle over the sprint trip when getting within a half-neck of the winner. She is right in the fight here.

JANIES GOT A GUN (8) was taking aim at 3 on the run last start when releasing the front in the early stages and outclassed behind ARGYLE BEACH. Back to the triangle with a good trail she can recoil.

OSCARS GLORY (9) tried to take them all the way last start in a 2nd division qualifier and found the 2138m too far. The 2nd line dents his chances but with even luck can fill the exotics.

SELECTIONS: NERIO (1), LUVU GRAZAELLA (2), JANIES GOT A GUN (8), OSCARS GLORY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: NERIO (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

KAANAPALI (1) had been struggling to land a gate in recent starts and from the ace gate last start looked to take them all the way. Leading every step except the post he went under a half-head. With the benefit of the inside advantage he will be looking to fight them off again.

MO JARNEY (7) will be glued to the back of the 1 and be ready to take his shot when open space presents. He fought on well last start after doing some early work and had placed in 4 successive runs. He will be coiled and ready to strike.

PITTSWORTH MAN (9) has placed at his past 2 starts from wide gates and gets no favours again here. He closed out strongly last start to finish 2m from GRINYDONTCHA and will be swooping late.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (2) was buried away last start and was hitting the line hard up the passing lane to get within a head of the winner. She can settle handy here and be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: KAANAPALI (1), MO JARNEY (7), PITTSWORTH MAN (9), FLASHING GOOD TIME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KAANAPALI / MO JARNEY (1/7) quinella

RACE EIGHT

MR MEDDLE (7) had been warming up to something and 2 starts back struck when finishing hard off running line cover to run away from them in an 8m victory. Pressing on to the front last start he was gunned down in the closing stages. He will need a slice of luck but can sprint hard when the gap opens.

CALCAVADO (9) keeps on filling the minors here at Redcliffe and added another to his season tally last start to make it a top 3 in 13 of his past 18 starts. He finished best of the chasing pack behind the big winner GRINVIL. With even luck in transit he will be closing out strongly once again.

HE GETS IT (1) found himself in front here 3 starts back and fought them off to score his 1st win in a long time. His last start was strong from the breeze and protecting the inside here will be gripping on in the stretch.

FIRE UP FRANCO (6) has the tough gate to overcome but should find this race easier than what he has been facing. He worked hard in the run last start when 4th to INVINCIBLE LOXTON and that followed a tidy effort behind PARISIAN ROCKSTAR. He is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: MR MEDDLE (7), CALCAVADO (9), HE GETS IT (1), FIRE UP FRANCO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-7-9
