The QBRED stars shone brightly last night.

In an historic night at Albion Park, all 10 races were designated for QBRED pacers only and featured several finals including many exciting young prospects.

It’s a great opportunity to showcase the local breeding scene.

And the racing was fast and exciting.

Both Gr.2 $50,540 QBRED Triad 3yo Finals went the way of Kevin and Kay Seymour and the their trainer/drivers Grant and Trista Dixon after Aqua Miss and Colt Thirty One proved triumphant in their respective features.

In the fillies final, Aqua Miss scored an all the way victory and led home a Seymour/Dixon trifecta with Red Charmer and Fame Assured filling the minor placings in the 2138m final.

The Bettors Delight – Aqua Blue Girl filly rated 1:57.7 while sprinting home in a scorching 27.2 seconds.

It was her 6th win from just 11 starts.

All three fillies will be aimed at the upcoming Oaks features in the coming weeks across the winter carnival.

In the Colts and Geldings final, Colt Thirty One scored an expected and dominant victory after racing without cover throughout the 2138m feature defeating Pinup Boy and Corey William.

Unbeaten at Albion Park, the Mach Three – Charm Personified colt rated 1:56.0 while covering his final 800m in 57.1 seconds.

Already successful in the Victoria Derby earlier this season, Colt Thirty One is now being readied for the Queensland Derby on July 21.

Both Aqua Miss and Colt Thirty One were born and raised at Egmont Park Stud on the Darling Downs, Toowoomba.

The Listed $25,540 QBRED Triad 4yo Finals were won by Clintal Do and Eleniark, both ultra-impressive in their own right.

Starting from the extreme outside gate in the Entires and Geldings final, Clintal Do was expertly handled by Lola Weidemann and stormed to victory in the 2138m feature defeating Maretti and Skyfella Cam.

Prepared by Richard March, the Dawn Ofa New Day – Shesgotemgood gelding rated 1:55.9 while running home in 28.7 seconds.

Clintal Do is raced by his breeders, Trevor and Louise O’Reilly.

The in-form pacer has now won 17 of his 36 starts while banking more than $120,000.

Eleniark proved too slick for her rivals and scored by a widening margin defeating Jossie James and Bonnie Jujon.

The Somebeachsomewhere – Ark Monroe mare rated 1:57.2 for the 2138m feature.

Prepared by Grant Dixon, the classy performer has now won 12 of her 33 starts while earnings are just shy of $100,000.

Eleniark is raced by her breeders, the Ryman, Rafter and Dixon families.

In the Listed $25,450 QBRED Breeders Classic 2yo Finals, Smart As Camm Be and Capitalize were both deserving winners.

Smart As Camm Be sat without cover to claim the 1660m juvenile feature before racing clear of Thats Bettor and Miss Moneybags.

Trained and driven by Kylie Rasmussen, the Cammibest – Too Smart For You filly rated 1:56.6.

Sectionals were covered in 29.5, 30.4, 28.6 and 28.1 seconds.

Bred and raced by the Smart family, the filly has now won 3 of her 5 starts.

In the Colts and Geldings Final, Capitalize raced three-wide solo over the final 800m before edging clear of Left A Terror and Amillion Promises.

Trained and driven by Mark Dux, the Mr Feelgood – Our Lillyfied gelding rated 1:59.9.

Capitilize is raced by his breeder, Stephen Dux.

It was his maiden victory from four starts.

Consolations were taken out by Goddess Jujon (by Mr Feelgood) and Hipstar (by Auckland Reactor) while the three-year-old divisions were claimed by Opononis Bliss (by Mr Feelgood) and Ark Patrol (by Grinfromeartoear).

Leading conditioner Grant Dixon prepared 5 winners throughout the meeting while Mr Feelgood sired a winning treble.

Congratulations to all winners.
