RACE SEVEN
There will be plenty of attention from around the country on this FFA as the millionaire star HECTORJAYJAY makes his return. The in-form MAJOR CAM (6) has drawn one hole closer than Hector to the pegs, is rock hard fit and is in the zone. Completing a hat-trick of wins last start, he capitalised on a sapping middle half from the 1200m to the 400m that was carved out in 56.4. Sitting back, he cruised over the top of them in the stretch. He can go again and spoil the Hector show.
HECTORJAYJAY (7) is now a 9YO and while his form lines are exemplary, the injury-plagued champ will be 1st up since June 2018, with that run following 11 months on the sidelines. Given two trials in readiness for the long-awaited return, he closed out sharply in the 2nd of those, scoring a nice win. With no favours from the gate, can it be a fairy-tale return to the track?
GLENFERRIE HOOD (5) led them up from this gate last time out over the 2138m when gunned down in the stretch by MAJOR CAM. Runner-up to the same winner the start prior, he will be trying to fight them off out in front.
WATCH PULP FICTION (8) will have the early options as the lone 2nd line runner to move away from the pegs. Chasing hard to grab the silver last start, he will be looking for track to swoop late.
