RACE TWO

SEAMARK (4) fired off the gate from the six-hole last start over the 1780m which importantly is the same starting point as these 947m events. Taking them all the way in that sprint trip, the form from the race has held with 3 subsequent winners in the defeated list. These conditions should suit, and he can hit the mark here on the Peninsula.

JOVIAL JULIE (2) has been keeping the minor money ticking over in recent starts, hitting the board in 7 of her past 8 starts. Grinding it out last start when runner-up to ARTISTIC SAINT, the start prior she struck trouble that ended her chances. From this gate she might need to be first over but will keep giving.

NO DOUBT (6) returns from a spell and comes into this short course scamper without a trial. Bad gates plagued his last preparation and although given no favours here fresh, he can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: SEAMARK (4), JOVIAL JULIE (2), NO DOUBT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SEAMARK (4) to win

RACE THREE

There is some heat off the front in this contest and relying on some factors to fall his way ALBION ARK (7) can be the knockout. Finding suitable opponents here 4 starts back despite landing a tough gate, he proved too strong. 2 from 3 on this track, he just needs the right trip to make his presence felt.

JUST JOSHIN (9) was asked to do it the tough way last start in a strong Band 5 event at headquarters and was in for the fight when only 4m from the subsequent winner RUN BOY RUN. 3rd from gate 6 here 2 starts back behind BETTATHANIDEAL, look for him chiming in late to challenge.

DYNAMIC BROMAC (5) was fired out of the machine last start from gate 3 and taking control was looking to take them all the way. Grabbed in the closing strides by AQUA SANCTA, he is working back into form and cannot be discounted.

RUM DELIGHT (1)

SELECTIONS: ALBION ARK (7), JUST JOSHIN (9), DYNAMIC BROMAC (5), RUM DELIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

DOCTA FEELGOOD (1) found his race 4 starts back after some tidy performances were franked to break the maiden tag. Quickly going back-to-back when too classy at his next start, he was beaten by the gate and tempo at his next run. 3rd to the star on the rise MANILA PLAYBOY last start, he has the gate and options to capitalise.

IDEAL TIGER (4) has been in the money at 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when pegged away from gate 1 in a qualifier over the AP 2138m trip. Chasing hard to grab 3rd behind OUR UNCLE JIM, he was only 2m way the start prior. The gate is sticky but hitting the board in 5 of 7 here is in the mix again.

VOODOO FELLA (6) has no favours from the outside alley but is hitting some nice areas with a top-two at his past 3 on the bounce. Runner-up to CAMROLLER last start, he can make a closing play.

WHICH HUNT (2) has now had 3 runs back from a spell and been a beaten favourite at the past 2 ins succession. Gunned down by CAPTAINS PICK 2 starts back, she has podium claims again here.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (1), IDEAL TIGER (4), VOODOO FELLA (6), WHICH HUNT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOCTA FEELGOOD (1) to win

RACE SIX

This looks to be a race in two and with both landing wide gates, a game of tactics could swing the result. The filly JASPER (6) steps out here at Redcliffe for the 1st time but has developed a super record at The Creek where she has missed a top-3 just once. Doing all the work last start, she was too classy in scoring a narrow win and fitter again after 2 runs back can go back-to-back.

HES SWEET (5) started from gate 6 last start over the AP mile and after being allowed to stroll to the lead mid-race was then able to fight them off to score. 7m from CHAMNOIX the start prior, he was game in defeat from the breeze 3 runs back at his 1st start back in Qld. He can look to take advantage of starting one alley closer.

COULDNTMISAFALCON (8) returns from a spell and was given an easy time in a recent pipe-opener at the trials. Hitting the line strongly from bad gates her past 3, look for her making a closing play.

OCTOBER RACKETEER (9) sat in the 1x1 trail from this alley 2 starts back and with the good trip was able to arrive for the prize. Finding MANIILA PLAYBOY to tough last start, he can chime in late again.

SELECTIONS: JASPER (6), HES SWEET (5), COULDNTMISAFALCON (8), OCTOBER RACKETEER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JASPER (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (7)
eased to the pegs last start for the short-cuts and hope for some luck that did not arrive s FEEL THE THRILL was dealing in front. Not suited over the 2040m the start prior when trying to lead all the way, she looks set for the economical trip and if hitting the lane with momentum can make the closing shot a winner.

JAMAICAN RESORT (1) does is best work when out in front and lands the gate to capitalise on that pattern here. 5 runs back he was setting the tempo when only grabbed in the closing stride to be a half-head in arrears of the winner. It has not gone to plan in the 4 runs since and off the ace will be gripping on.

WOODLANDS WONDER (6) should find this contest a shade or two below what he has been facing but has that negated by a tough gate. Too far back against the tempo last start, he can be thereabouts.

BEYOND A SHADOW (3) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon pegged away and searching for the openings when 6m from the winner. With early hustle, she can be in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (7), JAMAICAN RESORT (1), WOODLANDS WONDER (6), BEYOND A SHADOW (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-7

RACE EIGHT

MELTON LUCKY (5)
was far from it last start, securing what looked to be the perfect trail, only to have his chances evaporate before the home turn. Stuck behind a white-flag waving leader, he was left to finish midfield. Grabbed late the start prior, with a rub of the green this week, this is within reach.

CALCULATED RISK (9) faces a tricky task from this alley, but this race looks an open event. Claiming the bronze in a Trot Rods heat 2 starts back, she could not get into the contest last start when down the line behind MANOFLISA. With the right cart into this, she can challenge.

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (8) eased from a wide gate in a Trot Rods heat 2 runs back and saved for the closing shot was charging home to be within a half-head. She may just be better suited to that pattern and charging late here is in the mix.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (2) faded last start in a race claimed by CAPTAINS PICK to trail in the field. @nd up from a freshen in that event, he has the gate to settle handy to the action and this looks more suitable.

SELECTIONS: MELTON LUCKY (5), CALCULATED RISK (9), MIDNIGHT QUEEN (8), CARIBBEAN ROCKET (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

GOING GREAT GUNS (6) has no favours from this alley but brings will take good experience from his 1st race appearance when midfield by the smart looking MY ULTIMATE BAXTER. Well-tried in the market to feature in that contest, he had trialled nicely and might just have the class to defeat the map.

BETS ON MILLIE (1) might just appreciate stepping out on The Triangle after bumping into some smart performers in her 4 career starts at The Creek. CAT KING COLE has been far too classy when clashing at the past 2 outings but with the inside alley, she can be sharper in this.

TEDDY DISCO (8) makes his debut for Shawn Grimsey and is a gelding by Tintin In America that ranks as a half-brother to 3 individual winners. With the right trail he stays under notice in this.

BLUE BLOODZ (9) is a Sportswriter gelding making his race debut for Mark Dux and is the 1st foal from a half-sister to NEWPORT DREAMZ. With a nice preparatory trial, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GOING GREAT GUNS (6), BETS ON MILLIE (1), TEDDY DISCO (8), BLUE BLOODZ (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GOING GREAT GUNS (6) to win

RACE TEN

PRINCESS CHILLA (3) was well supported here last week but was ultimately beaten by the gate after landing gate 5 and the winner BRAEBEACH holding the advantage off gate 2. Game in defeat when grinding it out first over and only 4m in arrears, she looks to have found the breakthrough race.

CHARM OFFENSIVE (5) was making her race debut in the same race as PRINCESS CHILLA last week where she was drawn inside the 2nd line and soon pegged away in the run. Sound to the line at her first appearance when midfield, the wider gate is not ideal, but the added experience is a plus.

KALANI (7) is a 3YO Bettors Delight gelding on debut for Shannon Price that was purchased out of the 2019 NZ Yearling Sales at Canterbury. His latest trial was a tidy effort and with an even slice of luck from this alley has podium claims.

ROCK WITH ZARA (9) is another debutant, this one for Mal Charlton being a filly by A Rocknroll Dance. Trialling here at Redcliffe she is a place hope despite the tricky gate 1st up.

SELECTIONS: PRINCESS CHILLA (3), CHARM OFFENSIVE (5), KALANI (7), ROCK WITH ZARA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PRINCESS CHILLA (3) to win
