RACE TWO

SLIDE TO UNLOCK (9) was on debut last week when working forward from gate 4 to find the space in the pocket trail. Still with a bit to learn, she was strong to the line when holding on for the silver behind OUR BOY BOBBY. With the added experience from the outing, she can go one better here.

CHARMING CHARLOTTE (8) fired off the arm from gate 1 last start and was looking to take them all the way. Setting it up for a last panel blitz, she was out sprinted to the line by BRAEBEACH. Fitter for the outing after 2 runs back from a 12-month break, she can be making a closing challenge.

BONDI PRINCE (6) has featured in a barn switch since his last outing where he tackled the 3YO APG heat and finished down the line behind CHAMONIX. Grabbed late when leading here 3 back, this grade looks suitable.

KAMEKONA (1) eased from gate 6 last start to the pegs and then went searching for the short-cuts when midfield to BAILEYS WITH LEGS. He lands a big gate improvement which can aid his chances.

SELECTIONS: SLIDE TO UNLOCK (9), CHARMING CHARLOTTE (8), BONDI PRINCE (6), KAMEKONA (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

LIVING FREE (1)
looked ideally suited to the Trot Rods format and franked that assessment last week when firing off the arm, busting the field apart and holding on to score. He gets back to the more standard 1780m trip for this assignment but lands the gate and with 2 wins from his past 3, looks hard to stop again.

SHEZ GOT BLING (7) was a winner here 3 starts back from gate 9 when settling in a rearward position before having the closing power to swoop over the top of them. Buried in transit at her next start from this same gate, she looks set to get the right trip in behind the speed to make a closing play.

CHUMP CHOP (5) has no favours from the wide gate here. Fading after a tough run last time following 3 successive outings in the money, with an even cut of the cleaver in transit, he can feature here.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (9) was locked away on the pegs here 2 starts back, but when the gaps arrived, he had the speed to finish over the top. Shuffled away from inside the 2nd line last start, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: LIVING FREE (1), SHEZ GOT BLING (7), CHUMP CHOP (5), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

NICKS PICK (5) returns from a spell here and opened the pipes in a recent trial when zipping home a smart closing 800m. Showing early speed to lead before taking cover last start, he was midfield as OUR ULTIMATE HANNA arrived over the top. Runner-up 3 starts back, he looms large in this.

CHARLIE CHUCKLES (6) has been kept fresh since his last outing when tackling a stronger line-up and finishing rearward as ROCKS OR DIAMONDS dictated in front. Runner-up 2 starts back behind the handy ITZ MAJOR RICH, he has the wide gate owing to his barrier manners but should appreciate a return to his grade of event.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1) made a long-awaited arrival in the winners enclosure last start when finding her race to take them all the way. With the winning confidence, she has the gate to look for a repeat.

BUSTABALLON (2) made an error 2 starts back yet was still able to chase hard to grab the silver. Too strong for them last start in a smart win, he has the gate to feature again here.

SELECTIONS: NICKS PICK (5), CHARLIE CHUCKLES (6), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1), BUSTABALLON (2)
SUGGESTED BET: NICKS PICK (5) to win

RACE SIX

MANOFLISA (4)
has been hitting some consistent areas in these class of events and brings a top-3 at 7 of his past 8. Included in that string is 4 wins and placings when beaten a head and a half-head. Too strong when working home over the top of them last start, this is also his best gate for some time and he gets every hope.

THANHEAVNFORGIRLS (1) has worked her way into form, lining up here after finishing as the runner-up at her past 2 outings. Closing hard over the AP mile 2 starts back when only a head away, she was a winner from this gate 3 starts back when finishing best to take the prize. The gate is a huge plus.

TEE JAY SEE (8) returns from a let up after finishing down the line last time out in a small field behind OUR BOY ROY. Snagged back form a wide gate the start prior, his last start here at Redcliffe returned a win and he has claims once again.

TODAYS HERO (7) was sent to the post in red figures last start from the ace and after setting the speed was unable to see it out when 2m from the winner SIR JUJON. With the cosy trip he once again has place hopes.

SELECTIONS: MANOFLISA (4), THANHEAVNFORGIRLS (1), TEE JAY SEE (8), TODAYS HERO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8

RACE SEVEN

LETS BLAZE (9)
tackled an APG heat last start and from a rearward position was not that far from the subsequent winner CHAMONIX. Buried in the run in a small field the start prior when 6m from FRONTLINER in a last panel blitz, he can rely on some front line tempo to finish hard for the new stable here.

FAIREACHDAINN (1) was unable to secure position from gate 3 last start and was forced to retreat before trying to make a wide and sweeping run to get into the contest. Buried away the start prior, she was making some late metres as CAPTAINS PICK arrived and with the gate advantage here has the options to challenge.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (3) fired out from gate 4 last start over the middle-distance and was able to drop in to the pocket trail. Finishing best to score in the stretch, it followed a tough 3rd and he can get forward to feature once again.

JUKEBOX JET (5) makes his first appearance in Qld and arrives a last start winner at Leeton when leading throughout over the 2147m trip. Sound in a recent trial, he stays under notice fresh here.

SELECTIONS: LETS BLAZE (9), FAIREACHDAINN (1), FORTYFIVE ROCK (3), JUKEBOX JET (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS BLAZE (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

MISTER COLE (1)
was beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating early and then a slow opening half up front made it almost impossible for the chasers. Runner-up to BLUE MOON RISING here 2 starts back when within 3.5m, he has the early hustle to dictate here and in front can fight them off.

FIRE AND ICE (8) is knocking on the door and has been runner-up at his past 2 starts. Hitting the line in nice order from back in the pack last start when within 2m of the winner, it followed a gritty 2nd when doing all the work outside the leader and only beaten a head. He can throw it down again.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (2) fired out from gate 3 here 2 starts back and from the front was grabbed in the latter stages to finish midfield. Taking the trail from gate 1 last start, he can be close enough to feature.

BLISSFULDAY (7) looks set to enjoy an easy ride in behind the speed here and can be looking for the gaps to make a closing play. Using the passing lane to grab the bronze from this alley last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: MISTER COLE (1), FIRE AND ICE (8), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (2), BLISSFULDAY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER COLE (1) to win

RACE NINE

SPRING CAMPAIGN (5) will strip fitter from his latest outing when resuming from a break and stepping out for the new stable for the 1st time. Releasing from gate 1 at his return, he was then luckless searching for a gap when midfield without getting a decent shot at them. The gate stings but he is up to this.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (4) was sent forward from gate 5 here last start and asked to roll the sleeves to do the work outside the leader. With an even tempo over the 2040m trip, he could not see it out when fading in the closing stages. 8m away here 3 starts back, he is still a Redcliffe maiden but can challenge here.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (8) lands another tough gate but is racing well and just needs a slice of luck to make a play. Hitting the line in nice order last start after retreating from gate 6, she can chime in.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (9) added another minor to the tally last start after finding the running line from gate 4 before closing out in nice order for the bronze. Placed in 4 of his past 6, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SPRING CAMPAIGN (5), MARK OF INTEGRITY (4), SAINT KILDA BEACH (8), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

BRAEBEACH (9) steps up against some experienced campaigners here but will take good improvement from his race debut last time out when landing a smart win. Securing the pocket trail, he finished best to claim a passing lane win. The gate is tough but he can take the next step here.

ALLSTAR SEA (1) is yet to land a breakthrough after 15 attempts here at Redcliffe but should appreciate an improved alley for this assignment. Gate 6 was his undoing last start when retreating to find position and following 3 runs back from a spell, can hustle early to challenge in this.

SUBTLE ADVICE (8) fired off the arm last start to find the front and was trying to fight them off when holding on for 2nd behind LANOCH BOY. Forced to work hard the start prior, he has podium claims.

RINGOS A STAR (5) is yet to miss the board in 5 outings on The Triangle, the latest when attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to get within a half-neck of the winner. The gate stings but he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: BRAEBEACH (9), ALLSTAR SEA (1), SUBTLE ADVICE (8), RINGOS A STAR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BRAEBEACH (9) to win
