RACE TWO

MAJOR SEASCAPE (7) has been faultless in 2 starts back for his 3YO season when scoring victories at both. Taking a trail when resuming he sprinted sharply when the gap opened and last start took them all the way over the 2040m trip. The wide gate hurts but he is in touch and will swoop hard.

TODAYS HERO (3) has faced the starter just 3 times and been no closer than gate 5 in each. A winner over the 1780m at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he found the line nicely last start and with the improved gate can feature.

MISS MIA (2) returns for her 3YO term following a lone win at her last of 8 starts at 2YO. That was when leading all the way and with a tidy trial to prepare, she will be around the mark.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR SEASCAPE (7), TODAYS HERO (3), MISS MIA (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (8) was a winner 2 starts back in a slogging go to the line when cutting the breeze throughout. He loomed up last start again from the breeze after working hard and was grabbed by the swooping NEWMERELLA SHARKIE. With the cosy trip he can cash-in here.

SLIPPERY JADE (1) will take fitness from her last start when resuming from a break and without a trial when never in the mix after being buried in the run at Marburg. Grabbed late after pressing to the front from gate 4 over the 2138m 2 starts back, she will be right in the mix from the ace.

LETHAL PROMISE (3) rolled forward to the breeze from gate 4 last start and dug in when claiming the silver. Placed in 7 of 9 this season he will be right in the fight as per usual.

BLUE EYED CREATION (2) was buried away along the markers last start and tracked home strongly to grab the bronze behind the smart ONE OFF. From the gate he can settle handy and can place.

SELECTIONS: RUTHLESS ARMBRO (8), SLIPPERY JADE (1), LETHAL PROMISE (3), BLUE EYED CREATION (2)
SUGGESTED BET: RUTHLESS ARMBRO (8) to win

RACE FOUR

EPIRUS BOY (3)
worked home in good order 3 starts back and last start was beaten by the gate when snagged back from gate 6. He will need some factors to fall his way in the run but in a race where there looks some early speed and tempo, he can settle handy and be ready to take a closing shot.

MISSINMEMATE (1) has started from the 2nd line at both starts since arriving in Qld and will appreciate the return to the front. Not suited last start when trying to chase after being buried away he can look to capitalise on the improved alley.

CROWNING GLORY (2) held the front off gate 1 last start over the 1780m trip and after setting a steady tempo was grabbed in the closing stages when 6m from the winner. That was an improved effort and he can look to build off that.

EARL JUJON (7) has no favours from the outside gate yet with some good tempo can be looking to chime in late. He worked home well for the bronze 2 starts back and can repeat that here.

SELECTIONS: EPIRUS BOY (3), MISSINMEMATE (1), CROWNING GLORY (2), EARL JUJON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: EPIRUS BOY (3) to win

RACE FIVE

MAJESTIC MAJOR (3) will appreciate this class of contest after meeting tougher opponents his past 2. Working hard from gate 5 at Redcliffe 4 starts back he couldn’t see out the 2280m trip. His run 2 back was sound behind FRANKIE ROCKS and after a tidy effort in the FFA on Sat night this looks ideal.

BODHI TREE (6) has the wide gate and is racing well without getting a winning reward. On Sat night he found the front from gate 3 and set a strong tempo when grabbed late to finish 2m from the winner. His run 3 back was a top effort when charging late from the 2nd line and he can go close here.

POLISHED ROCKS (1) found the 1x1 from gate 2 here on Sat night and chased gamely when mid-field behind THE SPACE INVADER. With the peg run he will be looking for the gaps.

KOTARE YORK (2) went to the pegs last start and ended up buried away in the run. Grabbed late when looking to lead throughout at Redcliffe 3 back, he has early options and has place hopes.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC MAJOR (3), BODHI TREE (6), POLISHED ROCKS (1), KOTARE YORK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC MAJOR (3) to win

RACE SIX

TRILIGHT BRIGADE (7)
was a smart winner 1st up in Qld and then went down fighting in the breeze at her next start behind PATERNITY SUIT. Wide in the run last start and doing her share of work, she put them way nicely to score a comfortable win. She has the class to overcome the wide gate.

NIKALONG HENRY (1) was luckless last start when snagged back from gate 4 after having an early look and being unable to find position. Not suited the start prior from the 2nd line when chasing valiantly behind PATERNITY SUIT, he can look to make the most of the inside advantage.

THE BOYS GNP (2) added another minor placing to his tally last start to continue his streak where he has been top 3 in all 6 Qld Starts. He chased gamely from the 2nd line last start and landing his best gate in his past 6 he can look to dominate.

GOT THE GOODS (5) was wide off the track when trying to work into the race in the closing stages and finished best of the rest behind TRILIGHT BRIGADE. From a sticky gate he has place hopes.

SELECTIONS: TRILIGHT BRIGADE (7), NIKALONG HENRY (1), THE BOYS GNP (2), GOT THE GOODS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TRILIGHT BRIGADE (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

WHISKEY BLAZE (8) will enjoy getting back to the five-furlong track after his past 3 from Redcliffe have been a shade below his best. He worked home strongly from the 2nd line here 4 starts back to score a tidy win and he hast been far away at his past 3. With early options he is worth a ticket.

BETTOR BE LUCKY (4) was working home from back in the pack at Redcliffe last start when finishing 2m from the winner FIOKI. His previous 2 starts were below his best but the latest start showed a strong effort is not far away and this race looks within reach.

BALLYMORE BOY (3) arrives as a member of the KerryAnn Turner travelling barn with his Menangle run 2 starts back when 9m from the winner TYGAR enough to suggest this race is winnable if he brings that type of form.

GASMONKEY (1) returns from  spell after a sub-par effort last start over the 1660m at AP. His form had just tapered off and with the return from the good alley he can be around the money.

SELECTIONS: WHISKEY BLAZE (8), BETTOR BE LUCKY (4), BALLYMORE BOY (3), GASMONKEY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WHISKEY BLAZE (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

MARK OF INTEGRITY (4)
has started from 2nd line gates at Menangle at his past 2 starts and been working home strongly in the closing stages each time. He raced well here last time the stable campaigned in Qld and with the improved gate he looks to get his chance.

EVERYTHING (2) went back from gate 6 at Redcliffe 2 starts back and was a long way back in the pack before hitting the line strongly in a nice effort. His run on Sat night was a sound effort from gate 7 when rolling forward to face the breeze and from gate 2 he can throw down the challenge.

OCEANS PREDATOR (1) started from gate 6 last start and was snagged back to find position. Closing hard in the closing stages he went within a half-neck of victory and from this gate he won’t be far away.

CIRCLE LINE (8) has placed at his past 2 starts with the latest a 4m 3rd to THE GUN ROCKSTAR. From the gate he should get the perfect trip and will be ready to issue a closing shot.

SELECTIONS: MARK OF INTEGRITY (4), EVERYTHING (2), OCEANS PREDATOR (1), CIRCLE LINE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MARK OF INTEGRITY (4) to win

RACE NINE

CC JONES (3)
gets onto the 1000m track for just the 2nd time since arriving in Qld and will be sure to appreciate the bigger track. Proving costly to punters to date, his latest run was an improved effort from gate 5 when sent forward. With good early speed he can look to fire the early shot. This is D-Day.

ACT OF VALOR (5) took them all the way at Redcliffe 2 starts back over the 1780m trip when never in danger after controlling the tempo. Not suited last start from a 2nd line gate, he will find the early scratching drawn inside him to work in his favour and he can ask the questions.

IM NORMA JEAN (8) turned around a pair of unsuited runs when scoring an emphatic Redcliffe victory after being sent straight to the front from gate 5. She will need a slice of luck from this gate but is in the mix.

VILLAGE CRUISER (1) rolled to the front at Redcliffe and went too hard in front in the race claimed by TRILIGHT BRIGADE and on the short back-up returned a nice effort when 6m from the winner. With the inside gate he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: CC JONES (3), ACT OF VALOR (5), IM NORMA JEAN (8), VILLAGE CRUISER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CC JONES (3) to win
