RACE TWO

CALL ME YOURS (1) rises in company from her last start but prior to that she had been running consistent races from unsuitable gates in these mares events. Last start she was charging home to get within a half-neck of the winner and with the cosy trip will be ready to take the closing shot.

BONNIE JUJON (2) was buried in the run last start from gate 1 after being crossed early from gate 1 and could only manage the bronze. Her run for 4th off the six-hole 2 starts back was a sound effort and in mares only company she can settle handy to the speed and be in the fight.

NOVENA ROSE (4) is knocking on the door to claim one of these races and is up to the task. Releasing the front from gate 2 last start she sailed home over the top to score her 4th win from her past 9 starts. She can feature here.

JUST ROKIN (3) was crossed here last week from gate 1 and from the pocket trail was the best of the chasers behind the all-the-way winner SOMEROSESOMEWHERE. A winner at her 3 previous starts, she can bounce back.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME YOURS (1), BONNIE JUJON (2), NOVENA ROSE (4), JUST ROKIN (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

MACHEASY (3) rolled to the breeze from gate 4 here last start and staring the leader down packed too many guns to score a 2m victory in good time. That followed a luckless run behind FRANCO TOTEM and 3 back was only beaten a half-neck. Able to work in his races, he can out-tough them.

ZALTA (1) has been freshened since his last appearance when finding the line in good order behind the airborne LILAC FLASH. That followed a nice win from gate 12 when charging home in the closing stages at AP and with the cosy trip can be coiled and ready to strike.

LYNNSANITY (2) was looking to take them all the way in a 2nd division qualifier here 2 starts back when grabbed late by the swooping PADRISIMO from the clouds. Leading throughout last start he can find the pegs and will be gripping on.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (7) will need a slice of luck from this gate but he is in great touch and last start completed a hat-trick of victories. Effective if saved for one shot, he will get those conditions here and can be looking to charge late.

SELECTIONS: MACHEASY (3), ZALTA (1), LYNNSANITY (2), BEEF CITY BLAZE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MACHEASY (3) to win

RACE FOUR

KOTARE KASAI (1)
had a good shot for the front last start from gate 3 over this trip but was unable to cross before finding cover. That was her 2nd run back from a spell and since arriving in Qld and will take benefit from the run and despite poor numbers she can turn it around. From the gate she can use her speed and look to dictate.

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (7) had no luck whatsoever last start after going back looking for position and then never seeing open space. That followed a tough run and with a cosy trip here look for him to give this a shake.

CHRISTIAN TORADO (3) worked hard in the run last start when facing the breeze and was fighting all the way when just fading the last stages. Grabbed late when looking to lead all the way 2 starts back, he can settle handy and will be right in the fight.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (2) looked to take them all the way here 3 starts back and was only grabbed in the closing stages to go under a half-neck. His run had merit last start behind VANDE VELDE and from the gate he can place.

SELECTIONS: KOTARE KASAI (1), RUTHLESS ARMBRO (7), CHRISTIAN TORADO (3), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KOTARE KASAI / RUTHLESS ARMBRO (1/7) quinella

RACE FIVE

REMEMBER THEM (3) may have terrible numbers next to his name but he hasn’t had the gate or conditions to suit his pattern for some time. Forced to snag back from wide gates his past 2 starts there has been merit in the performances. Handle-bars down, he can find the pegs and with some of his best work done in front can look to dictate.

FRANKIE ROCKS (5) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts when beaten a nose and 1.5m. Sent forward to the breeze last week he was in for the fight when holding the silver behind AMAJORJO. That followed a strong finish behind MAKO BANNER and despite the tough gate he can challenge.

MATCH POINT (6) is another with the tough gate to negotiate but with the right run could certainly go close. Taken back from this same gate last week he was charging home when 6.5m from the winner. Only 2m from OHOKA PUNTER 2 starts back he won’t be far away.

BODHI TREE (9) will need some favours in the run from this alley, however if the speed is too slick up front he can take full advantage with his closing sprint. He closed out in good order last start and 2 starts back was only beaten a half-neck. He can podium.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER THEM (3), FRANKIE ROCKS (5), MATCH POINT (6), BODHI TREE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER THEM (3) to win

RACE SIX

SIR JULIAN (2)
made the most of gate 1 here last week to take them all the way and score a 2nd division qualifier. He found the line in good order here 2 starts back after being buried in the run and picking off some late metres from the winner FRANCO TOTEM. Stoked up to find the pegs he can look to take control.

MISTER HART (1) was a winner here via the passing lane 2 starts back when finishing strongly to score a nice win. Well covered last start from a 2nd line gate when back in the pack, he can look to make the most of the cosy trip here and will be coiled and ready to take the closing shot.

TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (7) was trying to work home late in the contest last start when VETTEL had sewn up the win from the front. That followed a tidy effort when 4th from gate 10 and with the trailing gate will be needing some luck to find the inside gaps.

EVERYTHING (8) had put the writing on the wall with some nice runs and cashed in over the 1780m trip here 3 starts back. He fought gamely from the breeze last start and able to work in his races can ask the questions again here.

SELECTIONS: SIR JULIAN (2), MISTER HART (1), TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (7), EVERYTHING (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR JULIAN (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

LILAC FLASH (8) is airborne and will be looking to make it 7 successive wins with victory here. Even more impressive has been the fat he has started from gate 6 at each of his past 3 starts and on each occasion has swooped home powerfully to score. He can find position easier this time from gate 8 and looks too strong again.

THE IDES OF MARCH (4) will appreciate the slight gate improvement after facing gates 10 and 6 at his past 2 starts. Last time out he was wide off the track when trying to make ground but the tempo was against him. Having a solid crack for the front he will take some catching if able to get across to light the lamps.

GOODTIME STRIDE (1) has enough early speed to punch through and dictate who she releases, if at all. A tidy 2nd to MR KALYPSO from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back, she can be in the mix.

LIVING AGAIN (5) has raced the triangle once with that outing resulting in a win of the Redcliffe Derby Consolation. An M0 winner at Menangle 2 starts back, he is smart performer and has claims.

SELECTIONS: LILAC FLASH (8), THE IDES OF MARCH (4), GOODTIME STRIDE (1), LIVING AGAIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LILAC FLASH (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

CLASSY GUY (1)
broke through for his 1st Qld win last start when finishing over the top in a 1780m claimer to score in good time. Pressing on to find the front here 2 starts back he was fighting to the line when beaten under 3m. With the options from the gate in the small field, he gets his chance to duplicate the last win.

IMA MORVEN LAD (3) started from gate 4 last start and after watching the speed battle in front then came with the perfectly-timed run to score. A winner 4 starts back he then grabbed the silver behind COMPLY OR DIE who had the race handed to him. He will be in the mix in a tricky small claiming field.

TOP TRIO (6) drops into the claiming ranks after a solid run last start when only 7m from the winner ANNIKA MAGIC. A classy all the way winner here 3 starts back he was only beaten a half-neck at his next outing and can give this a shake.

SELECTIONS: CLASSY GUY (1), IMA MORVEN LAD (3), TOP TRIO (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

OUR OVERANOVA (7)
ran his usual honest race last start when finishing off strongly down the outside to get within 1.5m of the winner MIRACLE RISING. That followed a three-peat of victories with 1 from the tapes and 2 from the mobile. He gets the 10m back he had over MIRACLE RISING from their last meeting and can capitalise.

MIRACLE RISING (4) was beaten a head when giving OVERANOVA 40m here 2 starts back and last week made the most of the differential to score after there being a 50m gap. Developing a handy record here at Redcliffe he is safe from the tapes and will be giving this a good shake from the 10m.

SPIRIT WALKER (2) is a consistent mare that has been in the top 3 at her past 6 in succession. Stepping up to the open class trotters last start she was closing hard when only a half-neck from the winner MIRACLE RISING. Finding a handy position she can feature.

MR MAYFLY (6) worked home in good style here last start over the 2613m trip after starting from the 20m tape. Still yet to score a win after 5 attempts at the track, he looks to have place claims.

SELECTIONS: OUR OVERANOVA (7), MIRACLE RISING (4), SPIRIT WALKER (2), MR MAYFLY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR OVERANOVA (7) to win
