RACE TWO

FRANCO TOTEM (9) was a winner here last Sat when settling at the rear and coming with a well-times run to open his band assessment. Luckless in the run from gate 6 on Tues when unable to find position, there should be enough front end pressure to come with one late run here to score.

THE CHARGING MOA (2) came out of the same race as FRANCO TOTEM on Tues when starting from the 2nd line. Working home wide off the track she secured 4th behind the winner ARGYLE BEACH when only beaten 5m. Winning her previous 2 starts she can go close again in this.

ZARAS DELIGHT (3) worked hard in the run over the AP mile 2 starts back and was in for the fight when beaten 1m. Covering plenty of extra ground last start she faded out. Look for a bounce back.

LIKEALLOFUS (7) found the position behind the leader last start in a nifty piece of driving which helped secure the silver when 1m from the winner JERRYS JET. With a cosy trip he will be charging.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO TOTEM (9), THE CHARGING MOA (2), ZARAS DELIGHT (3), LIKEALLOFUS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO TOTEM (9) to win

RACE THREE

JUST ROKIN (2) has worked her way into top form and last start from gate 1 had little trouble in holding the front and taking them all the way to complete a hat-trick of Redcliffe victories. Moving in to gate 1 here is an added bonus and lighting the lamps she can look to make land the foursome.

VALTONA (7) was a tidy winner when working home wide off the track here 2 starts back after starting from gate 5. Forget her last start when striking trouble in the run, she will get the perfect trip and will be coiled and ready to strike in the stretch.

BIG IN AMERICA (5) has also found her form and been top 3 at her past 6 in succession, finishing runner-up in her past 2 starts. Pressing on to find the front from gate 6 last week she was only grabbed on the line and will give another sight here.

BELLIGERENCE (9) will be 1st up from a break and will be making her Qld debut for Jack Butler. A stylish all the way Bathurst winner 2 starts back, she has been to the trials 3 times at Menangle to prepare. Follow.

SELECTIONS: JUST ROKIN (2), VALTONA (7), BIG IN AMERICA (5), BELLIGERENCE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ROKIN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

MUCHO MACHO MAN (7)
has a superb record here at Redcliffe and last start was only 3m from the winner FRANCO TOTEM. Working home wide off the track 2 starts back he grabbed the silver behind SUBTLE DELIGHT and with a cosy trip expected here, look for him scooting the sprint lane.

MONIVAE (8) was angled to the pegs from this same gate last start and sprouted wings late to arrive for a tidy win. That followed a 3rd place run in a qualifier behind HOT DOGMA over this trip and with the early options to look for the pegs if necessary, he will be swooping home hard again.

TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (2) made a mess of the start here 3 runs back and was banished to the outside draw. After 2 runs in 2 days he gets back to the main draw and with good early speed can take a shot.

VETTEL (1) looked to take them all the way from this gate over the sprint trip last week and after being eyeballed in the run was collared in the closing stages. He will be gripping on again here.

SELECTIONS: MUCHO MACHO MAN (7), MONIVAE (8), TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (2), VETTEL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MUCHO MACHO MAN (7) to win

RACE FIVE

SIR JULIAN (1) lands his best gate in a long time and can look to take full advantage. Snagging back to the pegs from gate 3 last start he was finding the line in good order behind FRANCO TOTEM. He chased hard for the bronze at AP 3 starts back and stoking up to protect the pegs can dictate here.

MISTER JOGALONG (4) was having his 1st start for Jack Butler when taken to Armidale he struck trouble in the run and was never a factor. Last start in a conditioned race here over the 1780m trip he was attacking the line hard to be 2m from the winner. This looks a suitable assignment.

CROWNING GLORY (7) found the pegs 2 starts back and setting a strong tempo over the AP mile couldn’t see it out. Run down again last start, he will get to chase here and with a cosy trip can feature.

TED WEST (5) found the pocket trail last start and using the passing lane was able to finish 2m from the winner FRENCH GLOBE. The wide gate hurts but with even luck he can be in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: SIR JULIAN (1), MISTER JOGALONG (4), CROWNING GLORY (7), TED WEST (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR JULIAN (1) to win

RACE SIX

FRANKIE ROCKS (8)
started from gate 6 last start when snagged back early to get a trail into the contest and was attacking the line when beaten a nose over the 2280m trip. Run down after looking to go all the way 2 starts back, he gets back to the sprint trip and can swoop over the top.

BODHI TREE (3) should appreciate this class of race after taking on the open class performers in recent starts. In the pocket trail from gate 1 last start he lost momentum at a crucial stage and was hitting the line hard to get within a half-neck of the win. He might just look for the front and can take this.

MATCH POINT (6) started off the 2nd line here 2 starts back and saved for 1 run attacked the line to go straight by and post a 12m winning margin. Only 2m from OHOKA PUNTER last start he is right in the fight.

JERRYS JET (2) had put the writing on the wall with some handy performances and made the most of conditions last start in scoring a strong win from the breeze. This is harder but he can place from the gate.

SELECTIONS: FRANKIE ROCKS (8), BODHI TREE (3), MATCH POINT (6), JERRYS JET (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANKIE ROCKS (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

SAMS A CHAMP (8) was a winner over the 2040m trip here 3 starts back when pressing on to the front and once in control was never in danger. Taken back from gate 6 2 starts back he was charging home late and last start grabbed the bronze over this trip. This looks within reach and he can grab it.

MAKO BANNER (5) slid back early from gate 3 last start and with a perfect 1x1 trail came with the right run to score over this trip. The gate hurts his chances but with even luck in transit he can be working home strongly to issue a challenge.

JANUARY (6) is in career best form and added another win last start when coming with a perfectly timed run in strong closing fractions. Yet to miss a top 3 in 7 appearances on the triangle, she can add to that here.

THE SPACE INVADER (2) is working his way back into form and last start grabbed the bronze behind GANGSTER BOY after finding the pocket trail. Fitter from the run he can challenge here.

SELECTIONS: SAMS A CHAMP (8), MAKO BANNER (5), JANUARY (6), THE SPACE INVADER (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

JUST SEDUCE ME (2)
scored over the AP 1660m trip 4 starts back and then followed that with a sound effort when looking to take them all the way. Her run last start off the 2nd line behind COREY WILLIAM was a tidy effort to grab 3rd and from this gate can look to take them all the way.

OCEANS PREDATOR (5) has claimed the bronze at his past 2 starts with the latest when trying to take them all the way and worried out of it by EVERYTHING. His run 2 back behind ALPHA STYX was a nice effort and in this type of race with even luck in transit he can be around the mark.

LETHAL STAR (1) took on a mares qualifier last start and from the running line was tracking home in good style to grab the bronze when 2m from the winner DARBY BRIGHTS. With a cosy trip she is right in the mix.

MAKOA (7) makes his Qld debut for the Grant Dixon stable with his last win coming back in August. Gunned down last start when looking to lead throughout at Bathurst, he can enjoy a soft trip here to chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: JUST SEDUCE ME (2), OCEANS PREDATOR (5), LETHAL STAR (1), MAKOA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST SEDUCE ME (2) to win

RACE NINE

GOODTIME STRIDE (6)
should appreciate this class of contest after taking on stronger opponents at her past 3 starts. Working home nicely in a Rising Stars heat behind the dominant MR KALYPSO 3 starts back she claimed the silver behind that same runner in the final. Despite the wide gate she can take this.

RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (5) has been runner-up at his past 3 in succession with all 3 when drawn off the 2nd line. The latest was a nice effort after settling a long way back in the pack. Look for him swooping home hard.

BLAZING VC (7) is after a hat-trick and will need plenty of luck from this alley. A tidy all the way winner 2 starts back he claimed a restricted win last start when closing out nicely. If he can sight a gap he is a threat.

SMILING ARMADA (3) used the inside to look for an all the way win last start but was grabbed in the closing stages and had to settle for the silver. He can look for the pegs again and will be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: GOODTIME STRIDE (6), RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (5), BLAZING VC (7), SMILING ARMADA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GOODTIME STRIDE (6) to win

RACE TEN

MAYBETOTHEMAX (7)
put together successive AP wins from the tapes and was sent for a freshen after the 2nd of those after pressing forward in the early stages. 2nd up last start under mobile conditions he used the passing lane to grab the bronze behind OUR OVERANOVA. He can get forward early here to take his shot.

OUR OVERANOVA (8) shoots for the hat-trick after claiming his 50th career win last start. Pressing forward to find the breeze he was at his fighting best when packing too many guns and hold off a fast-finishing MIRACLE RISING. He can get forward and throw down the challenge again.

ROSTEVARREN (5) was 1st up off a freshen last start and found the line in good style to be 3.5m from the winner DAENERYS STROMBORN. The distance is a query, but with the right cover in the run he can be challenging.

SPIRIT WALKER (3) was messy at the start last time out but reset and was charging home in the closing stages to grab the silver. This is harder than what she has been facing but with the right run she will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAYBETOTHEMAX (7), OUR OVERANOVA (8), ROSTEVARREN (5), SPIRIT WALKER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYBETOTHEMAX (7) each-way
