RACE TWO

WOODLANDS ROSE (2) has placed in 5 of her 6 career starts to date as she searches for the maiden breaking success. Trying to take them all the way here last week from gate 1, she held them all off bar BONDI SHAKE who proved too strong. Grabbed late the start prior, she looks to have found her chance here.

ESTARDAY (1) did some early work here last start before receiving cover for the last 1100m. Chasing hard to grab 4th behind the smart winner BONDI SHAKE, that had followed 4 successive placed runs to start her career. 3rd up the passing lane behind MY ULTIMATE HESTON 2 starts back, she has options to challenge.

CATCH PHRASE (4) will take benefit from her race debut here last week when finishing in 3rd behind BONDI SHAKE. Given time to balance up, she did everything asked and can build off that run here.

BELLAVICTREE (3) angled to the pegs from the 2nd line here last time out looking for the short-cuts when not seeing open space and finishing down the line. Settling close to the action she can feature.

SELECTIONS: WOODLANDS ROSE (2), ESTARDAY (1), CATCH PHRASE (4), BELLAVICTREE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: WOODLANDS ROSE (2) to win

RACE THREE

FROST EN ICE (1) has found her rhythm and lines up with victories in 2 of her past 3 starts. Sent straight to the front last time out at Redcliffe, she was never in danger when ripping home a smart closing panel to take an 18m winning margin. Striking trouble here 2 starts back, she can dictate.

COPPICE (5) showed early speed last start but could not get the lead and instead was able to sit in the pocket trail. Chasing hard when 2m in arrears of the winner and in-form BLISSFULDAY, it followed a luckless effort when carted back behind a tiring leader. Limiting the early burn will be key.

FLAME LADY (2) has been around The Creek on 3 occasions to be runner-up on all 3 occasions. Grabbed in the latter stages last time as ATOMIC BOMBSHELL arrived, she can be close again.

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (3) was not far away in the same event as FLAME LADY last time out and her previous 2 starts saw her face 2nd line barriers. Settling closer to the action she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FROST EN ICE (1), COPPICE (5), FLAME LADY (2), KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FROST EN ICE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

JOEY LINCOLN (1) has had one decent alley in 5 appearances this campaign and on that occasion, he made an error. Only beaten 4m despite the mistake he followed that with a 2m 3rd from gate 6. Not much went his way last start but this time around he gets the options to optimise his chances.

KWASII (5) backs up from Friday where he set the tempo but could not see it out when 5m in arrears of the winner. Snagged back from gate 7 in a 2nd division qualifier 2 runs back, he has the early speed to get across them.

OUR FRIEND (8) was beaten by gate 6 last start when forced to retreat early and from back in the pack was unable to make any ground as the leader made it tough for the chasers. 3rd to NI<AH FRANCO here 2 runs back, he can feature.

ALLSTAR SEA (4) has placed at his past 2 starts, the latest when making a strong run from back in the pack to be 5m in arrears of the winner. Chiming in late form the 2nd line 2 starts back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: JOEY LINCOLN (1), KWASII (5), OUR FRIEND (8), ALLSTAR SEA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JOEY LINCOLN (1) to win

RACE FIVE

BLISSFULDAY (6)
is in super touch and will line up in search of a threepeat of wins and 4 from his past 5. A strong Redcliffe winner 4 back, he was then brave in defeat when finishing the runner-up. With Redcliffe and AP victories his past 2 in tough fashion, he might need to roll the sleeves again here but is up to the task.

ATOMIC BOMBSHELL (3) put the writing on the wall with a huge 3rd 2 runs back when retreating early over the mile to find position. Winding up in the stretch to attack the line with venom when 1m away, she franked the run when arriving for a smart win last time out. Tucked in behind she can be looking to take the closing shot.

KOTARE ELITE (2) took on a mares qualifier last start when setting the speed from gate 1 over the sprint trip. In for the fight when 5m away in 3rd, it followed a mid-field finish behind the flying LARRY LINCOLN. With early speed she is in the fight.

LANCELOT BROMAC (9) had the right conditions here 2 runs back to finish best down the centre of the track to score. Chasing home for the bronze last start behind OUR RIDGY DIDGE, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BLISSFULDAY (6), ATOMIC BOMBSHELL (3), KOTARE ELITE (2), LANCELOT BROMAC (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

REMEMBER ME NOW (5)
could not find a forward position last start from gate 7 and was forced to retreat to the rear and back in the pack was not able to get into the contest. Beaten by the tempo the start prior, he can fire an early shot here to get forward and might just sneak away with this.

IL MAXIMUS (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start when searching for gaps when 6m from LARRY LINCOLN. Releasing the speed over the mile 2 starts back when 8m from NIMAH FRANCO, he has the gate to get the perfect trip and when the gaps arrive he will be looking to challenge.

GOTTA MOMENT (7) was obliged to do it the tough way last start when facing the breeze over the Redcliffe sprint trip before fading out. The tough run the start prior in a slick mile in a qualifier 2 runs back was his undoing and the gate does no favours again here.

MOTU AMETHYST (3) was snagged back from gate 5 over the mile last start before charging home in some smart closing panels last time out. A winner over this trip 2 runs back, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER ME NOW (5), IL MAXIMUS (1), GOTTA MOMENT (7), MOTU AMETHYST (3)
SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER ME NOW (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

LITTLE CHANGE (3)
was 1st to the pegs over the middle-distance 2 starts back when releasing the speed to sit in the trail. Trying to make a closing challenge, he was 2.5m in arrears of the winner MAYWYNS BEST in finishing with the silver. 3rd to COLBY at his next start, he was not far away on Sat night and looks set to capitalise.

ELMS CREEK (1) had gate 5 over the Redcliffe 2040m trip 2 starts back when easing to the rear to find position. From a long way back, he was sound to the line when mid-field. Backing up from Saturday night when not far away, he looks to get the perfect trip here and will be ready to strike.

BEAU CISHLOM (10) will be fitter following 2 runs back from a break the 2nd up run coming 4 week after the 1st. Mid-field when 7m from COURAGEOUS SAINT last start, the gate is tough but he is in the mix.

EL GRAN SENOR (8) was mid-field last start as KINGOFTHESTARS was dominant up on the front-end over the 2138m in a powerful win. Prior to that he had been running some smart closing splits and with an easy trip here can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE CHANGE (3), ELMS CREEK (1), BEAU CISHLOM (10), EL GRAN SENOR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLE CHANGE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

CLINTAL DO (8) will be tightened after his 1st up run when strong to the line for the silver behind COURAGEOUS SAINT last week over the 2138m. Sent for a break after finishing a close 3rd to KID MONTANA back in July, he might need to get away from the pegs, but with the added fitness and a cart home can arrive over the top of them.

LENNY THE LEGEND (9) eased from gate 7 to find position last start in the same race as CLINTAL DO and held on for the bronze when 9m away from the winner. A beaten fav the start prior behind NURBURGRING, I had followed successive wins and with the right trail he can be ready to challenge.

CHEVRONS REWARD (6) was returning from a spell and 1st up in Qld for Charlie Cini when powering home in the closing stages to score a tidy win against mares last time out. Fitter again, she can be swooping late from the tough gate.

MIDNIGHT MAN (5) will strip fitter after his return to the track over the mile when dictating from gate 1 in Sat night company. It was a smart win in a new PB rate fresh up and with the added fitness will be right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: CLINTAL DO (8), LENNY THE LEGEND (9), CHEVRONS REWARD (6), MIDNIGHT MAN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CLINTAL DO (8) to win
