RACE TWO

LILAC FLASH (6) is airborne as is the Kylie Rasmussen stable and despite starting from the widest gate, he looks to have a mortgage on this the way he is travelling. Last start he claimed a qualifier when exploding down the outside to score. With 4 wins in succession, he can slide back early and look to swoop over the top once again.

ITS JUST KENNY (7) has returned from a break in great style and been in the top 2 at his past 3 in succession including a win when finishing hard from the peg-line to score. Last start he was hitting the line strongly and went within a head of ROCK WITH SAM. As the lone 2nd line runner he has early options and will be in the mix.

DRIVE THE DREAM (3) sat in the running line here 2 starts back and was working home well to hold 2nd behind the passing lane winner RORY MACH. She struck the richly talented MR KALYPSO last start and from this alley can be thereabouts.

MISS KENNY (5) took them all the way 2 starts back over the AP 2138m trip to make it 3 wins in her past 4 starts, holding on for a gritty victory. Forget her last start when not suited in the breeze, she can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: LILAC FLASH (6), ITS JUST KENNY (7), DRIVE THE DREAM (3), MISS KENNY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LILAC FLASH (6) to win

RACE THREE

FEEL THE CHARM (1) covered plenty of extra territory last start when unable to find position and sitting wide on the track. The effort told and she faded out. That followed a tough effort when facing the breeze and holding on for the bronze in a Gold Pot final behind the smart CARDLESFROMHEAVEN. With the options from the gate she gets her chance.

FORTES IN FIDES (3) worked in the run last start and battled gamely to the line to hold on for the silver last start behind MATRON JUJON after circling from the 2nd line to the breeze. His run 2 starts back in a Gold Pot heat was full of merit and back to the front with good early speed can throw down a big challenge.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6) ended last season in a high with 2 wins at his last 3 runs of the season and started this term in the same vein with a victory when leading all the way at Tamworth. His effort in a Gold Pot heat was strong from the breeze. Forget the final when striking trouble, he has claims.

BETTOR WATCH HIM (7) took the pocket trail when finishing fairly and ending mid-field behind TASSINI. His run last start at big odds was sound and with the cosy trip here can look to chime in late.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE CHARM (1), FORTES IN FIDES (3), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6) BETTOR WATCH HIM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-7

RACE FOUR

SPRING CAMPAIGN (5)
will appreciate this class of opponent after finding it tough from gate 6 in a Rising Stars heat when facing a huge task chasing MR KALYPSO. A tough winner from the breeze at his previous start, he has landed the win in 4 of 6 starts since arriving in Qld and despite the wide gate can bounce back.

HARD TO HEAR (3) hit the line strongly to get within 1m of the winner LENNY THE LEGEND 2 starts back. Last start over the 2040m trip he looked to be stuck in traffic but was able to find a gap and once seeing open road sprinted hard to take the win. He can settle handy here and will be taking the closing shot again.

THE CHARGING MOA (7) bounced back to winning form with a comfortable all the way win at AP 2 starts back never looked in danger. Starting in red figures on Sat night from gate 1 she had it served up to her and she couldn’t see it out. With early options from the 2nd line she can be sharper.

FIRE AND ICE (4) will strip fitter from his latest outing when 1st up from a break. Taking on a mile event at Newcastle he was doing some early work to get forward and packed too much heat to score a 12m victory. From the gate he won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: SPRING CAMPAIGN (5), HARD TO HEAR (3), THE CHARGING MOA (7)(, FIRE AND ICE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SPRING CAMPAIGN (5) to win

RACE FIVE

GOT THE GOODS (2) returned from a spell in fine style to start his 4YO term when finishing strongly over the AP mile to arrive on the line for victory in a career best rate. Buried in the run at his next start from inside the 2nd line his latest effort saw him claimed late after burning across from gate 7 in a 27.2 opener to find the front. From this alley he can look to stack and rack.

TASSINI (4) will take further benefit from her latest start when 2nd up in Qld and having her 2nd run from a break. Sitting in the running line through a steady opening half over the 2138m she finished best to score a 2m victory. Buried in the run in a Gold Pot heat at her 1st up run, she still hit the line in good style and looks the danger.

MATT BELFORD (6) was too tough for them last start when facing the breeze after rolling forward from gate 6 and digging deep to take a 2m victory. That followed a sound effort when chasing home behind TASSINI and he will be in the mix again.

MY MAGIC MERLIN (5) has been in the money at 4 of his past 5 starts with the past 2 of those from wide gates. Starting fav over the mile 2 starts back he was too far back but hit the line in good order. The small field suits and he will be working home.

SELECTIONS: GOT THE GOODS (2), TASSINI (4), MATT BELFORD (6), MY MAGIC MERLIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GOT THE GOODS (2) to win

RACE SIX

COMPLY OR DIE (4)
will take benefit from his latest start when returning from a freshen. Sent to the front from gate 5 over the 1780m trip he was fighting hard and his condition just gave out in the closing stages to finish 2.5m from the winner. Still yet to score a victory here on the triangle he can look to take control and change those numbers.

SICILIAN SLUMBER (1) took the trail from this gate last start when releasing COMPLY OR DIE to the front. Using the passing lane he closed out nicely to grab the silver behind IMA MORVEN LAD. He gets back to claiming company after taking on a conditioned race on Tues and from the gate can be right in the fight.

IMA MORVEN LAD (2) took the trail after fighting hard for the early lead at AP 3 starts back and finished over the top once the gap opened. 3rd over the 2138m trip 2 starts back he finished best here last week to take a 2.3m victory. He can look for early position and take his shot.

RAESAWINNER (5) can slide out of the action early and hope they cut at each other up front. If that scenario pans out, he will be sitting back and be ready to chime in with a late challenge and the fresh legs. A winner 3 starts back when storming home late, the small field works in his favour.

SELECTIONS: COMPLY OR DIE (4), SICILIAN SLUMBER (1), IMA MORVEN LAD (2), RAESAWINNER (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
